Local Purchase of Medicines, Surgical Items and Consumables by entering into rate contract with vendors i.e. firms / distributors / chemist shops/ retail shops /Authorized stockiest on the basis of discounts offered by vendors located inMunicipal limits of Yamuna Nagar and Jagadhri, for supply on day-to-day requirement basis at Northern Railway, Extra Divisional Hospital, Jagadhri workshop for a period of two years.

   Legal/Statuary requirement: : A valid drug license for storage and supply of drugs under Drug & Cosmetics Act as stipulated by the local authority of the Haryana State Government for establishment. (Copy should attached)

   The supplier must hold a valid whole sale license issued by the Drug Controller Authority of Haryana State on the date of submission of bid and also ensure that their license remain valid till the end of the contract period. (Copy should be attached)

   Financial Eligibility: : Average annual turnover of the vendor for the last three completed financial years i.e. 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26 prior to date of opening should be equal to or more than three times the average annual value of retail local purchase procurement made by that Railway hospital in the last three completed financial years. i.e Rs:1.19 Crore.(Copy certified by CA should be attached).

   Reasonability of the discounts offered by vendors shall be assessed while deciding the tender.Inspection of received Medicines, Surgical Items and Consumables will be done by the consignee at destination. The day-to- day local purchase of Medicines, Surgical Items and Consumables will be purchased on retail basis as per Chief Medical Superintendent /N.RLY/JUDW's Schedule of Power (SOP) of Rs.20000/- maximum per item per day inclusive of Tax.The contract shall be under FSSAI Act and Weight Measurement Act.
