Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-Charge) of total coated thickness 0.50 mm (base metal of minimum 0.45 mm thickness with total coating thickness of 0.05mm) with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineer-in-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /seIf tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.

Providing and applying fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane with resilient acrylic polymers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 on top of concrete roof in three coats @10.76 litre/ 10 sqm. One coat of self-priming of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1) and two coats of undiluted elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dry film thickness of complete application/system not less than 500 microns). The operation shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes, complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE - : 1 - The Contractor shall associate himself with the specialized firm, to be approved by the Engineer-in-charge, for execution of water proofing treatment. The contractor shall furnish a Guarantee Bond, as per prescribed format, from the specialized firm and duly counter-signed by the contractor as a token of overall responsibility. The Guarantee Period shall be for 10(Ten) years. 2 - Ten percent of the cost of items of water proofing treatment would be retained as guarantee to watch the performance of the work done. However half of the amount withheld would be released after (5) five years, if the performance of the work done is satisfactory. If any defect is noticed during the guarantee period, it should be rectified by the contractor within seven days, and if’ not attend to, the same will be got done from another agency at the risk and cost of the contractor. However this security deposit can be released in full, if bank guarantee of equivalent amount for 10(ten) years after completion of maintenance period is produced and deposited with the BSNL.
