MCEW (D and RB) to maintenance of sub circle office building at Mural Paintings (16- 17th century) on the walls of Mattancherry Palace, Mattancherry

White washing two or more coat to the compound wall of quarters building with lime after proper cleaning including cost of materials, labour charges etc. including preparing old surfaces of exterior walls for painting work by thoroughly removing all loose pieces, dirt, scales, stains, moss, lichens, black soot, smoke splashes, mortar droppings, grease etc. using sand paper, scrapping, washing the wall with necessary repairs to scratches using exterior putty including cost of all the materials, accessories, all categories of labour charges along with cost of scaffolding, fitting and fixing up to all heights etc. complete.

Carefully removing damaged MP tile roof of Sub circle office building including removal of MP tiles, ridge tiles, reapers/battens, providing polythene cover sheet to cover the roof after removing MP tiles, removing damaged items such as fibre sheet ,removing false ceiling of the Sub-circle office /quarters building including erecting of scaffolding etc.

Mending, repairs and resetting the old damaged, decayed roof members by inserting new teakwood pieces in place of damaged ones after planning, chiselling, making the proper shape as per old etc. complete complying with standard specification as directed.

Applying two coats of wood preservative oil (transparent colour) for the wooden members including erecting and dismantling of the scaffolding after completion of the work etc. complete complying with standard specification and as directed.

Laying reapers/battens, other teakwood members with suitable spacing including joining them with wire nails etc, providing new fibre sheet covering below the battens as a protective covering to the MP tiled roof, Laying MP Tiles of size 420 x 250mm of size over roof, relaying false ceiling of the roof including erecting and dismantling of the scaffolding after completion of the work etc. complete complying with standard specification as directed.

Providing MP Ridge tiles set in lime mortar 1:2 including finishing edge, scaffolding etc complete

Removal of damaged Aluminium roofing sheet in front of sub circle office/Quarters building and providing new Aluminium profile troughed sheet of Alloy 31500/31000/40800,confirming to IS 1254, IS 737, IS 2676. The sheet shall be fixed using self-drilling/self-taping SS screws of size 5.5x65 mm with EPDM seal complete upto required pitch in horizontal, vertical or curved surfaces i/c cutting to size and shape where required as per specifications and direction of site in charge. The rate shall be inclusive of all screws, seal, ridge, labour, scaffolding, machinery for fixing and approved sealant where required etc. but excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses.
