Drilling trial bore hole by direct or reverse rotary combination rig plant and equipment through any kind of soil/rock strata by drilling not less than 250mm bore hole with and including disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 400 mtr complete all as specified & as directed. Expanding trial bore by reaming vertical bore, direct or reverse rotary combination rig plant and equipment through any kind of soil/rock strata by drilling not less than 675mm bore hole up to 60 mtr below ground level for 250/200mm casing pipe with and including disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 400 mtr complete all as specified & as directed. Notes for serial No 5 to 7:- (a) Direct drilling or reverse rotary combination rig plant of suitable capacity along with necessary tools/equipment for drilling bore well shall be arranged by the contractor under his own arrangements . (b) Hire charges for the Rig Plant and its transportation to site and removing from site after completion of the work shall be deemed to be included in the rates as quoted and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (c) The work will be carried out at location as directed by GE/Engineer-in-Charge. (d) Contractor to ensure that centering of bore well be maintain till last end of bore well and for this all T&P shall be arranged by the contractor under his own arrangements and a vertically test report as per IS: 2800 (Pt-II) will be submitted after lowering of all casing pipes.

Supplying, lowering and fixing into bore hole 250mm bore dia MS casing pipe ERW, 8mm wall thickness in six metre length, including its socket of suitable size, having threading and welding at both ends externally confirming to IS 4270:2001 including two coats of anti corrosive paint over a coat of primers on external surfaces of pipes complete all as specified and as directed. Supplying, lowering and fixing into bore hole 200mm bore dia MS casing pipe ERW, 8mm wall thickness in six metre length having threading and welding at both ends externally confirming to IS 4270:2001 including two coats of anti-corrosive paint over a coat of primers on external surfaces of pipes complete all as specified and as directed. Supplying, lowering and fixing into bore hole 200mm dia stainless steel slotted pipe of grade SS 304 , 8 mm wall thickness having longitudinal slotes/V-Slotes/perforated slots of 1 mm width cut into the pipe including fixing/jointing to the casing pipe by threading and welding as per the strata and ground requirements complete all as specified and as directed. Supply and fixing Mild steel reducer of size 250x200mm (nominal bore) having wall thickness 8mm, screwed and welded at both ends & including necessary fittings and jointing with jointing material complete all as specified and as directed. (for Ghanghora Site)

Supply and fixing Bail plug of 200mm dia of 8mm thickness having internal and external threading with rings, ribs and welded iron handles complete all as specified and as directed. (for Ghanghora Site)

Supply and fixing housing clamps of 120cm long in two halves 100mm wide made out of 20mm thick MS plate suitable for 250mm nominal bore MS casing pipe with and including necessary nuts, bolts and washers at ground level embedded in PCC 1:3:6 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate complete all as specified & as directed. Supplying, lowering and packing pea gravel of size 2mm to 5mm duly screened and washed around casing pipe and slotted pipes complete all as specified and as directed. Note: - For the purpose of measurement, gravel brought by the contractor shall be stacked properly at site & measurement of stacks shall be recorded before use and after use (left unused) to arrive at the net quantity of gravel used complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for development of tube well bore by compressor of capacity not less than 100 Cum/hr and 600 PSI till clear water is obtained including stabilization of the tube well and carrying out yield test indicating static water level, draw down complete all as specified and as directed.

Development of tube well bore by heavy duty submersible pump set of capacity not less than 20000 GPH so as obtain sand/silt free water upto 20 PPM complete all as specified and as directed. (for Ghunghora Site). Note for srl item No 16 & 17:- (i)Test record for the same duly signed by the Engr-in-Charge & contractor shall be kept on record . (ii) Providing of all measuring equipment /T&P/all other major or minor items related to development and yield test at site is responsible of the contractor and rate of the same is deemed to be included in the quoted rate of the item.

Supplying and fabrication of strata sample box overall size 1200x750x100 mm made out of 18 to 20mm thick veneered particles board with frame made out of aluminium angle of size 25x25x2 mm having not less than 20 Nos partitions of size 150x100x100 mm made with 12mm thick commercial plywood and 25x25x2mm aluminium angle bearers with and including sliding type sheet glass 5mm thick cover with suitable size aluminium charfelt frame alround with 2 Nos key holes made out of aluminium plate of size 40x25x3mm, aluminium handles as required and applying 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer after preparation of surface including writing name of the tube well, location and strata samples with depth complete all as specified and as directed.

Note: (i) Strata samples and strata chart shall be prepared & provided by the contractor without any extra cost. (ii) During drilling, lithological samples shall be collected at an interval of 3 mtr or whenever there is change in lithology.

Supply only drawing of borewell assembly lowered alongwith bore well details on full scale size paper duly laminated and framed on and including 10mm thick commercial type veneered particle board complete all as specified and as directed.

Testing of water sample for potability by chemical analysis as well as bacteriological potability from Govt Laboratory and submission of the report complete all as specified and as directed.

Electrical logging by means of electric logger for the total depth of tube well submission of 4 copies of logging sheet alongwith one original copy complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The bore hole shall be electrically logged for precise delineation of aquifer and the water bearing zones available which are to be tapped complete all as specified and as directed. S&F mild steel water tubing as in column pipe, 100mm bore medium grade of thickness 4.5mm, ISI marked, conforming to relevant IS for column pipe in required length but length not more than 3mtr, both end flanged internally threaded and duly welded with pipe using 4Nos MS Strips of size 20x3mm with provision of 04 Nos holes and 01 No. side slot for passing submersible cable on both flanged end, including painting with two coats of anti corrosive bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. Note: Cost of MS flange 8mm thick, rubber insertion packing, 04 Nos, hexagonal head steel bolts without and two washers for each flange joint are included in the quoted rate of item. Material and labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 using 40mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in filling all around the MS casing pipe below ground level to a depth as foundation / block etc including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for packing local clay around housing/casing pipe below ground level for a depth as directed, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, lowering, installation, testing and commissioning for submersible pump set suitable for 250/200mm casing pipe, water lubricated and cooled complete with stream line non return valve directly coupled pump set with and including required submersible motor suitable on 415 Volt, 3 phase, 50Hz AC. The pump set shall be capable to deliver 750 LPM at 140 Mtr Head. The pump and the motor shall be of same make complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Discharge case shall be fitted with suitable adopter of 100mm nominal bore 0.6mtr length threaded at one end and flanged at other end to match with column pipe duly fitted with 2 Nos. flat iron supports. M&L for machine cut kota stone slab flooring 20-25 mm thick over cement screed base laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixe3d with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing complete all as specified and dismantling old flooring any type complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for kota stone slab flooring 20-25 mm thick in riser of steps, skirting, dado and pillar laid over cement screed and jointed complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling existing PCC and M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using (20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in mass concrete (for pump set foundation/DG set foundation/LT Panel foundation etc) and similar work including necessary frame work finished even and smooth complete all as specified and directed. Note :- PCC foundation shall be executed as per existing and also recommended by manufacturer and suitable for available centrifugal pump set.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering on brick surfaces/upper surface of semi under ground water storage sump of any capacity or any other surfaces of water supply installation as in cement mortar 1:6 and finished surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified.

Dismantling of plastering / concrete on upper surface of semi underground water storage sump or any other surfaces (vertical or horizontal) of water supply installation laid bedded and pointed in any mortar of any description of thickness in floors, apron etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface as in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for colored glazed ceramic tiles in vertical surface of size 350x250x7 m /450x350x7mm thick set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or colour cement to match complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismantling floor, earth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting the existing old functional submersible pump set from electric supply from panel, dismantling existing CI bend from non return valve, removing and lifting out old submersible pump set of any description and capacity & in any position, alongwith existing column pipe 100mm dia and existing submersible cable of any size from the bore well ( up to 450 feet depth of pump set from GL) and staking the pump and column pipes near by the bore well for inspection complete all as specified and directed.

(NOTE : (i) Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipment’s required for lifting out pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. (ii) Number of column pipe may vary from 30 to 40. The existing pipes & flanged joints shall be checked for its serviceability & unserviceable joints alongwith flanges shall be removed from the column pipe by cutting the pipes & making new thread in pipes for fixing of new flange joint, the cost of same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate for above item. However cleaning of pipes shall be measured & paid separately. (iii) Rate of lowering of existing column pipes shall be included in the quoted rate of this item.

Supply and fixing straight through joint complete with jointing materials suitable for three core stranded copper conductor cable PVC insulated and sheathed flat submersible cable 1100 Volt grade complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, lowering, installation, testing and commissioning for submersible pump having 140 mtr head 750 LPM discharge, CI impeller suitable for 350mm bore with motor three phase 415 volts capacity not less than 41 HP complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Discharge case shall be fitted with suitable adopter of 100mm nominal bore 0.6mtr length threaded at one end and flanged at other end to match with column pipe duly fitted with 2 Nos. flat iron supports. The adopter shall be welded to GI pipe outlet and studded with discharge case.

Supply, install, test and commissioning of centrifugal mono block self priming pump set having 2820 LPH at 18 Mtr head with suitable DOL starter. The pump set split casing electric driven coupled with suitable electric motor 240 V, 1 Ph mounting on wall and including common base plate fabricated by MS channel a with necessary electric connections to motor. Taking down old pump set with base frame and depositing at MES store, and any modification in suction / delivery pipe line connection is required at site be provided by contractor with out any extra cost for fixing of new pump, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, install, test and commissioning of centrifugal pump set (for clear water having specific gravity -01) split casing electric driven coupled with suitable electric squirrel cage induction motor 415 V, 3 Ph mounting on and including common base plate fabricated by heavy duty MS channel and required PCC work as recommended by manufacturer, including pressure gauge 0 to 7 kg/cm2 glycerin filled with brass air cock heavy duty, MS type coupling complete with rubber tyre as required, with necessary electric connections to motor. Taking down old pump set with base frame and depositing at MES store, and any modification to existing suction and discharge line by providing MS pipe welding to fix new pump, complete all as specified and directed. Note for Item No 74 to 78 :- (i) Pump suction and delivery side be checked at site before placing the order of new pump set and drawing be approved by Engr-in-Charge. (ii) If any fabrication work/welding work of installation of new pump set is reqd at site than it shall be done by contractor without any extra cost.(iii) Rate of MS pipe line of suitable size of required length (for modification of suction and discharge line) is included in the quoted rate of the item.
