Partition works

Providing and fixing partition upto ceiling height consisting of G.I. frame and required board, including providing and fixing of frame work made of special section power pressed/ roll form G.I. sheet with AlZn coating of 150 gsm (Gypserra or equivalent), consisting of floor and ceiling channel 72 mm wide having equal flanges of 32 mm and 0.50 mm thick, fixed to the floor and true ceiling at the spacing of 610 mm centre to centre with Gyproc® Rawl plug Ø8x45mm {Material-IS 513 CR1 grade, Zinc coating, Pull Out Load-6.8kN for M30 concrete grade} /Hilti X-GN20MX anchor fasteners or equivalent anchor fastners and the studs 70 mm wide having flange of 40 mm and 0.50 mm thick fixed vertically within flanges of floor and ceiling channel and placed at a spacing of 610 mm centre to centre, including fixing of studs along both ends of partition fixed flush to wall, and fixing of boards to both side of frame work by 25/35 mm long dry wall screws (Gyproc®Drywall Screw or equivalent) on studs, floor and ceiling channels at the spacing of 300 mm centre to centre. The boards are to be fixed to the frame work with joints staggered to avoid through cracks and angle beads at corners. 50mm Glasswool of density 20kg/m3 shall be placed in Metal framework with the help of holding Clip.The board shall be jointed and finished to have a flushed look by filling and finishing with proprietary supplied jointing tape & joint compound and two coats of dry wall coats as per manufacturer's specification. Joints to be sand papered to achieve a smooth and seamless finish as per engineer's approval. 98 mm overall thickness partition with 13 mm thick double skin tapered edged high impact resistant Gypsum board (Gyproc Rigiroc or equivalent) including providing and applying two coat putty. (Total front elevation area of the partition (one side) will be measured in square meter for payment)

Providing, fabricating and fixing in position glazed full partition work as per the drawing, in well seasoned ash wood frame work of 100mmx75mm (corner joints - 100mmx100mm) panelled with 10mm thick toughened plain glass and natural rattan finish sandwitched between two 4mm toughended plain glasses as per the drawing including cutting grooves, providing and fixing reapers, EPDM/neoprene etc. All the wood surfaces shall be polished with 1 coat epoxy insulator, 2 coat melamine sealer and 2 coat melamine interior matt as per manufacture recommendations. The fabricated partition shall be securely fixed to the position. (Total front elevation area of the partition (one side) will be measured in square meter for payment)

Description same as that of the above (Serial No 4), but with 10mm thick etched toughened glass as per the approved design.

Providing and fixing half-height decorative partition wall up to 1200mm height from finished floor level and 75mm overall thickness, comprising an internal rigid framework of seasoned hardwood timber sections or built-up BWP plywood (IS 710 grade) strips securely glued and screwed together, anchored to the floor and adjacent walls with approved fasteners, clad on both sides with 16mm thick BWP plywood (IS 710 grade), finished on all exposed surfaces with 1mm thick decorative laminate of approved shade and texture, and incorporating 8mm thick clear toughened glass fixed in grooves/rebates with approved quality silicone sealant and EPDM rubber gaskets, complete in all respects as per approved drawings and specifications, including all materials, hardware, adhesives, fasteners, sealants, cutting and fitting, transportation, scaffolding, labour, tools, wastage, and all. False ceiling works

Providing and fixing false ceiling at all height including providing and fixing of frame work made of special sections, power pressed from M.S. sheets and galvanized with zinc coating of 150 gms/ sqm as per IS : 277 and consisting of angle cleats of size 25 mm wide x 1.6 mm thick with flanges of 27 mm and 37 mm, at 1200 mm centre to centre, one flange fixed to the ceiling with dash fastener 12.5 mm dia x 50 mm long with 6 mm dia bolts (Hilty/equiv), other flange of cleat fixed to the angle hangers of 25x10x0.50 mm of required length with nuts & bolts of required size and other end of angle hanger fixed with intermediate G.I. channels 45x15x0.9 mm running at the spacing of 1200 mm centre to centre, to which the ceiling section 0.5 mm thick bottom wedge of 80 mm with tapered flanges of 26 mm each having lips of 10.5 mm, at 450 mm centre to centre, shall be fixed in a direction perpendicular to G.I. intermediate channel with connecting clips made out of 2.64 mm dia x 230 mm long G.I. wire at every junction, including fixing perimeter channels 0.5 mm thick 27 mm high having flanges of 20 mm and 30 mm long, the perimeter of ceiling fixed to wall/partition with the help of Gyproc® Rawl Plug- Ø8x45mm {Material-IS 513 CR2 grade, Zinc coating (7 to 8 microns) pull out load- 6.8kN for M30 concrete grade} or equivalent rawl plugs at 450 mm centre, with 25 mm long dry wall screws @ 230 mm interval, including fixing of gypsum board to ceiling section and perimeter channel with the help of dry wall screws of size 3.5x25 mm at 230 mm c/c, suspension points and clips shall be able to take a minimum safe load of 50 kgs including jointing and finishing to a flush finish of tapered and square edges of the board with recommended jointing compound (Conforms to ASTM C475), jointing tapes, finishing with jointing compound in 3 layers covering upto 150 mm on both sides of joint and two coats of primer suitable for board, all as per manufacturer's specification and also including the cost of making openings for light fittings, grills, diffusers, cutouts made with frame of perimeter channels suitably fixed, making of cove all complete as per drawings, specification and direction of the Engineer in Charge including two coat putty: 12.5 mm thick tapered edge gypsum plain board. (gI frame: Gypserra/equivalent, gypsm board : Gyproc/equivalent)

Description same as that of the above (Serial No 8), but with 12.5 mm thick tapered edge non-paper faced gypsum boards reinforced with glass mats. (gi frame: Gypserra/equivalent, gypsm board : Gyproc Glasroc H/equivalent) instead of gypsum plain board.

Providing and fixing thermal insulation with Resin Bonded Fibre glass wool conforming to IS : 8183, density 24 kg/ m3, 50 mm thcik, wrapped in 200 G Virgin Polythene bags placed over existing false ceiling and held in position by crisscrossing GI wire.

Providing and fixing tiled false ceiling of approved materials of size 595 x 595 mm in true horizontal level, suspended on inter locking metal grid of hot dipped galvanized steel sections (galvanized @ 120 grams per sqm, both side inclusive) consisting of main "T" runner with suitably spaced joints to get required length and of size 24x38 mm made from 0.30 mm thick (minimum) sheet, spaced at 1200mm center to center and cross "T" of size 24x25 mm made of 0.30 mm thick (minimum) sheet, 1200 mm long spaced between main "T" at 600 mm center to center to form a grid of 1200x600 mm and secondary cross "T" of length 600 mm and size 24x25 mm made of 0.30 mm thick (minimum) sheet to be interlocked at middle of the 1200x600 mm panel to form grids of 600x600 mm and wall angle of size 24x24x0.3 mm and laying false ceiling tiles of approved texture in the grid including, required cutting/making, opening for services like diffusers, grills, light fittings, fixtures, smoke detectors etc. Main "T" runners to be suspended from ceiling using GI slotted cleats of size 27 x 37 x 25 x 1.6 mm fixed to ceiling with 12.5mm dia and 50 mm long dash fasteners, 4 mm GI adjustable rods with galvanised butterfly level clips of size 85x 30x 0.8 mm spaced at 1200 mm center to center along main T, bottom exposed width of 24 mm of all T-sections shall be pre-painted with polyester paint, all complete for all heights as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer -in-charge. 12.5 mm thick square edge PVC Laminated Gypsum Tile size 595x595 mm made of Gypsum plasterboard , manufactured from natural gypsum as per IS 2095 part I and laminated with white 0.16 mm thick fire retardant PVC film on the face side and 12 micron metalized polyster on the back side with all edges sealed with the face side PVC film which goes around and wraps the edges and is bonded to the edges and the back side metalized polyster film so as to make the tile a completely sealed unit.
