Miscellaneous repair work at external area of Barrage Power House and Switch Yard of Chutak Power Station Kargil

Earth work in bulk excavation by mechanical means (hydraulic excavator) over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 m2 on plan) including disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 meters and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-Charge:Ordinary Rock

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade including curing but excluding the cost of centring and shuttering. All work upto plinth level with:1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)

Random Rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including leveling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 Cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) upto plinth level and curing complete with:Cement mortar 1:6 (1 Cement : 6 coarse sand)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Providing & making Gabion structure with Mechanically Woven Double Twisted Hexagonal Shaped Wire mesh Gabion Boxes as per IS 16014:2012,MORTH Clause 2500, of required size, Mesh Type 10x13 (D=100 mm with tolerance of ± 2%) Zinc coated, Mesh wire diametre 3.0 mm, mechanically edged/selvedged with partitions at every 1m interval and shall have minimum 10 numbers of openings per metre of mesh perpendicular to twist, tying with lacing wire of diametre 2.2mm, supplied @ 3% by weight of Gabion boxes, filled with boulders with least dimension of 200 mm, as per drawing, all complete as per direction of Engineer in-charge.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm indepth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.

Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface, Water thinnable cement primer

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade : New work (Two or more coat [email protected] ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm

Supplying, filling, spreading & leveling stone boulders of size range 5 cm to 20 cm, in recharge pit,in the required thickness, for all leads & lifts, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
