   Only Approved Vendors listed in the RDSO Vendor Directory as on the date of opening of the tender for Sub Item ID No. 3100582001 (Thick Web Switches) are eligible to participate in this tender. The status of the Vendor shall be reckoned from the date of closing of the tender and thereof, unless it is a case of downgrading / removal/ suspension / banning.

    Performance Security : (i) Higher PBG: Applicable 5% of Contract value. (Ref: Rule 171 GFR 2017) (ii) Performance Security is to be furnished by a specified date (generally 21 (Twenty one) days after notification of the award) and it should remain valid for a period of 60 (sixty) days beyond the date of completion of all contractual obligations of the supplier, including warranty obligations. (iii) The supplier receiving the LOA is required to furnish the required performance security, if it is part of tender conditions, in the prescribed form by the specified date; failing this necessary action including forfeiture of EMD will be taken against the supplier. (iv) The performance security will be forfeited and credited to the procuring entity's account in the event of a breach of contract by the contractor.    JURISDICTION OF COURT:- For any dispute related to contract or inspection/action by RDSO in pursuance of General guidelines for Vendor Approval, the court jurisdiction would be at the HQ of the consignee Railway from where PO under this Rate Contract has been issued. The same will be applicable in case of Arbitration i.e. Arbitration will be dealt by the respective Railway from where PO under this Rate Contract has been issued.
