Material and labour for, 100mm thick plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in paving/ hardstanding etc. including demolition of cement concrete (unreiforced) in ground floors and pavings not exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level)complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for, preparation of old painted surfaces of rigid/ flexible pavement (concrete or asphaltic) of runway, taxi track , links etc., painting lines, dashes, arrows, figures, letters etc. on roads, pavements and the like exceeding 10cm wide with one coat of water based acrylic paint (white/ yellow/ orange/ black) as per manufacturer's instructions, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for, preparation of old painted surfaces of rigid/ flexible pavement (concrete or asphaltic) of runway, taxi track , links etc., painting lines etc. on roads, pavements and the like in areas exceeding 2000 Sqm with one coat of water based acrylic paint (white) as per manufacturer's instructions, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for, preparation of surfaces of rigid/ flexible pavement (concrete or asphaltic) of runway, taxi track , links etc., painting lines, dashes, arrows, figures, letters etc. on roads, pavements and the like exceeding 10cm wide with two coats of water based acrylic paint (white/ yellow/ orange) as per manufacturer's instructions, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for, preparation of old painted surfaces of rigid/ flexible pavement (concrete or asphaltic) of runway, taxi track , links etc., painting lines, dashes, arrows, figures, letters etc. on roads, pavements and the like exceeding not 10cm wide with one coat of water based acrylic paint (yellow/ black) as per manufacturer's instructions, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for, preparation of old painted surfaces of rigid/ flexible pavement (concrete or asphaltic) of runway, taxi track , links etc., painting lines, dashes, arrows, figures, letters etc. on roads, pavements and the like exceeding not 10cm wide with one coat of water based acrylic paint (orange) as per manufacturer's instructions, complete all as specified and directed. Note: (Applicable for BOQ Serial item No.2 to 6): Preparation of surface and painting of the existing runway painting shall be done carefully and the debris to be remove simultaneously leaving No FOD so as to ensure that the runway is available for operation immediately.

Material and labour for, cutting out defective portion of existing rigid pavement for depth 25mm to 50mm from top surface of slab by mechanical means / manually by chiseling, make regular shape and size, removing all debris to a distance exceeding 100 metres but not exceeding 200 metres from starting point, cleaning loose particle thoroughly with mechanical air blower, applying a coat primer uniformly on the horizontal and vertical faces with bristle brush, filling with epoxy resin mortar (1:5), one part of epoxy resin and five parts of Quartz sand as per manufacturer's instructions, on primed surface and finished by means of trowels and flats, finished true levelled with existing adjoining rigid pavement, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for, racking/cutting out defective portion of existing rigid pavement for depth 25mm from top surface of slab by mechanical means / manually by chiseling, make regular shape and size, removing all debris to a distance exceeding 100 metres but not exceeding 200 metres from starting point, cleaning loose particle thoroughly with mechanical air blower, applying a coat primer uniformly on the horizontal and vertical faces with bristle brush as per manufacturer's instructions, pouring in pre-mixed elastomeric concrete (self levelling) on primed surface and finished by means of trowels and flats, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for, racking out existing joint sealant from expansion joints with using appropriate tools and mechanical means for joints of size 20-25mm wide and 20mm deep of sealant, including taking out compressible backer rod of dia 25-30mm (Total depth 45-50mm) from joints, cleaning the joints of side, bottom and removing the loose particle of sealant dust etc, with suitable tools and mechanical driven machine, drying the joints surface of moisture completely by means of mechanical driven air blower, applying one coat of primer and insert compressible cross linked polyurethane form back up rod, closed cell, medium density of appropriate dia as per site condition, putting in polyurethane joints sealant of approved make in joints as per manufacturer's instructions ans cleaning the surface, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for, racking out existing joint sealant from expansion joints with using appropriate tools and mechanical means for joints of size 10-12mm wide and 10mm deep of sealant, including taking out compressible backer rod of dia 12-15mm (Total depth 22-25mm) from joints, cleaning the joints of side, bottom and removing the loose particle of sealant dust etc, with suitable tools and mechanical driven machine, drying the joints surface of moisture completely by means of mechanical driven air blower, applying one coat of primer and insert compressible cross linked polyurethane form back up rod, closed cell, medium density of appropriate dia as per site condition, putting in polyurethane joints sealant of approved make in joints as per manufacturer's instructions ans cleaning the surface, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for, repair to cracks (1mm-3mm wide) in existing rigid/ flexible pavement of dispersal/ runway/ PTT by cleaning the cracks with hand brushes or water under pressure and drying with compressed air etc. filling in the cracks with epoxy mixture of araldite and hardener, araldite 02 (Two) parts and hardener 01 (One) part, complete all as specified and directed.

Repair pot holes in existing rigid/ flexible pavement of dispersal/ runway/ PTT upto 20mm depth and superficial area not exc.320 Sqmm each, cleaning the pot hole with hand brushes or water under pressure and drying with compressed air etc. filling the pot holes with epoxy mixture of araldite and hardener, araldite 02 (Two) parts and hardener 01 (One) part, complete all as specified and directed.

Repair pot holes in existing rigid/ flexible pavement of dispersal/ runway/ PTT upto 30mm depth and superficial area not exc.1260 Sqmm each, cleaning the pot hole with hand brushes or water under pressure and drying with compressed air etc. filling the pot holes with epoxy mixture of araldite and hardener, araldite 02 (Two) parts and hardener 01 (One) part, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for, raking out existing sealing compound from joints with using appropriate tools and mechanical means for joints of size 10-20mm wide and 30mm deep, cleaning the joints from sides, bottom and removing the loose particle of sealant dust, foreign matters etc. with suitable tools and mechanical driven machine, drying the joints surface of moisture completely by means of mechanical driven air blower, including putting in sealing compound Grade 'B' of approved make in joints as per manufacturer's instruction and cleaning the surface, complete all as specified and directed. Note: In case of additional depth beyond 30mm, the same shall be filled with dry sand before joint filling.

Material and labour for, preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing, foreign particles, vegetations etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical blower to remove all loose dirt, foreign particles etc. including applying polymer modified bitumen emulsion using 0.30 litre of PMBE mixed with water in ratio (1:1) per square metre of surface area as per manufacturer's instructions, complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) All pores, pin/ pot holes of depth upto 25mm and superficial area not exceeding 491sqmm on the flexible pavement surface to be applied PMBE shall be repaired by putting in premix Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC), Gde-II, with 6% binder content (Polymer Modified Bitumen, PMB-40) prior to application of the emulsion. (ii) PMBE shall be applied by a self-propelled or towed pressure sprayer equipped for spraying the material uniformly at the specified rate as per manufacturer's recommendations. (iii) Application of PMBE shall be executed as per manufacturer's instructions and shall be executed by the approved and trained applicator of manufacturer's. (iv) Suitable care shall be taken to avoid spraying of PMBE over existing runway paintings/ markings, fittings & fixtures, any damage caused due to accidental spraying PMBE over the same shall be made good by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt.

Material and labour for, raking out existing cracks on surfaces of rigid/ flexible pavement (concrete or asphaltic) of runway, taxi track , links etc., cleaning the cracks from sides, bottom and removing the loose particle of sealant dust etc, with suitable tools and mechanical driven machine, drying the cracks surface of moisture completely by means of mechanical driven air blower and repair to crack by putting in elastomeric, self-leveling sealant impregenated rope of size 1/4 inches thick, melted with direct heat process, finished true levelled with existing adjoining pavement surface as per manufacturer's instructions, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for, raking out existing cracks on surfaces of rigid/ flexible pavement (concrete or asphaltic) of runway, taxi track , links etc., cleaning the cracks from sides, bottom and removing the loose particle of sealant dust etc, with suitable tools and mechanical driven machine, drying the cracks surface of moisture completely by means of mechanical driven air blower and repair to crack by putting in elastomeric, self-leveling sealant impregenated rope of size 1/2 inches thick, melted with direct heat process, finished true levelled with existing adjoining pavement surface as per manufacturer's instructions, complete all as specified and directed. NOte:- (Applicable for BOQ Serial item No.16 and 17). (i) The sealant rope shall be designed to be inserted into the crack or joint cavity first and then melted with direct heat process. The modifier system contained in the sealant rope shall allow the material to withstand direct heat without experiencing degradation. (ii) The crack filler shall combine tenacious adhesive power with resiliency to protect against the infiltration of moisture or incompressible through repeated thermal cycles of expansion and contraction. It shall exhibit superior low temperature ductility, weather resistance, low oxidation breakdown and non-tracking. (iii) Repair to cracks shall be executed as per manufacturer's instructions and shall be executed by the approved and trained applicator of manufacturer. Contractor is suggested to check crack at site before before quoting of rate.

Material and labour for, preparation of old painted surfaces of steel and iron surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint in dark green colour or as approved on building, Sun shelters, hanger door, hanger roof at a height not exceeding 10 metres above floor level, complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Suitable arrangements as MES safety Code shall be made by the contractor and the cost shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Cleaning shrubs, vegetation, grass, bush, weed etc. from sides of runway, PTT links and dispersal area, including disposal of rubbish/ useless materials to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc.1.5m from the starting point, complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i)The work shall be executed by providing 01 (One) Mazdoor (unskilled category of worker). (ii) Cuty hours register of the worker shall be maintained.
