Construction of Headworks Earth work in excavation in foundation of Head work in all types of soil as per design and drawing including dressing the foundation, shoring etc. removing the surplus spoil by head lead to a safe distance from the working place and depositing required spoil in uniform layer, dressing, watering, breaking clods to not more than 10mm cube with compaction as directed at site (Including bailing out stagnant water where necessary) A) Without de-watering:-

B) For lead of 60 m and lift of 3.00 m, with de-watering:-

Supplying of Z-type sheet pile 0.69 m effective width, 8 mm thick having weight @ 68.30 kg/R.M including carriage to the departmental go-down complete as directed.

Labour for placing of imported Z-type sheet piles including cutting to proper size & making holes etc. and driving it to the specified level and lines including painting sheet piles with two coats of anti-corrossive bituminus paints (Piles to be embeded shall not be painted) including carriage from departmental go-down complete as directed.

C.C work in prop. 1:3:6 with aggregate of size 13 mm to 38 mm free from dust, dirt & other foreign materials including rodding / vibrating, bailing out of water where necessary and curing with supplying of all materials complete as directed (Temporary arrangement for obtaining clean water should be made at site. (Machine mixed) i) River shingles with shuttering and with de-watering [Ground water level = 63.00 m]:-

ii) River shingles with shuttering and without de-watering [Above G.W.L = 63.00 m]:-

Collection and supply of one man size hard river boulder (size 25 cm to 30 cm) including loading, unloading and stacking in measurable stacks at site not more than 1.00 m height including paying the forest royalty, sales tax etc. including local carriage to work site etc. complete as directed. (Distance from querry to the work site is 55 km)

Labour charge for pitching with one man size boulder including ramming and dressing the site to proper size and shape with local carriage of boulder from a distance of 50 m with lift up to 3.00 m complete as directed.

Supplying and laying of filter materials in thee gaps between the cement concrete protection blocks complete as directed (6 mm to 20 mm size aggregate considering average dist. from querry to the work site = 50 .00 km).

Supplying, fitting, fixing and laying of M.S rod / Tor steel of all sizes in position as per design and drawing as required including cutting, cranking and making hooks with necessary lappage and tying with black wire complete as directed including cost of all materials.

R.C.C work in prop. 1:2:4 with aggregate of size 6 mm to 20 mm free from dust, dirt and other foreign materials with proper reinforcement as per design and drawing including rodding / vibrating, curing etc. with bailing out water where necessary complete as directed. (Payment of reinforcement will be made separately) a) River shingles with shuttering and with dewatering [Up to G.W.L = 63.00 M]:-

b) River shingles with shuttering and without dewatering [Above G.W.L = 63.00 M]:-

Supplying, fitting, fixing of steel gates of cross and head regulator as per design and drawing and specification including supplying of steel beams, channel section, rubber seal etc. Including all materials embedded partly where necessary and manually opertaed hoisting equipment including carriage of all materials to work site complete.

Supplying and mixing of rapidite with C.C / R.C.C work under sub-surface water level complete as directed.

12 mm thick cement plastering including clearing the surface and curing etc. complte as directed. (Prop. 1:3)

Earth work in back filling of structure with earth obtaining from outside borrow pit filling with 15cm layer, ramming, dressing, watering and compaction including paying compensation of land, if any with lead up to 3.00 m and lift 1.50 m.

Construction of Diversion Channel Earthwork in excavation of diversion / feeder channel to the designed section and grade by depositing the spoils in the form of an embankment on either side of the designed section in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick including clearing light jungles and tree upto 15 cm. dia., uprooting roots and stumps from the seat of embankment and canal free from all vegetation including breaking clods not more that 10 mm cube ramming, dressing, bailing out stagnant rain water where necessary complete as directed.

Construction of Closing Dam Earthwork in all soils in canal embankment & bed filling as per designed section and grade by truck carriage for a minimum distance of 4 KM including paying compensation of earth obtained from private, if any, loading, unloading spreading the same in embankment in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick including clearing light jungles, removing trees upto 15 cm dia & uprooting roots & stumps etc. from the seat of embankment, breaking clods to not more than 10 cm cubes ramming, dressing, roughening the seat of embankment, profiling etc. with all lead and lift complete as directed. (12.5% shrinkage allowance to be considered).

Construction of whole bamboo single pallasiding with matured jati bamboo stalks 60mm to 75mm dia, fixed 15cm clear apart 1.20m to 1.50m above ground and 1.00m to 1.20m below ground with jati bamboo struts fixed 1.20m to 1.50m apart tied with galvd. Wire of 16G to 18G and with three rows of horizontal half jati bamboo kamies complete as directed.

Supplying and laying empty cement bags filled with sand/ earth (as locally available) including stitching the mouth, laying, fixing in position with supply of bags, sutli, etc. complete as directed.

Construction of Approach Road Earthwork in all soils in canal embankment & bed filling as per designed section and grade by truck carriage for a minimum distance of 4 KM including paying compensation of earth and grade by truck carriage for a minimum distance of 4 KM including paying compensation of earth exceeding 15 cm thick including clearing light jungles, removing trees upto 15 cm dia & uprooting roots & stumps etc. from the seat of embankment, breaking clods to not more than 10 cm cubes ramming, dressing, roughening the seat of embankment, profiling etc. with all lead and lift complete as directed. (12.5% shrinkage allowance to be considered).

Collection & supply of sand mixed gravel (containing 40% of sand and 60% of gravel 13mm to 38mm) free from all foreign materials including carriage from quarry to work site, loading, unloading and stacking in measurable stacks as directed by the department (including paying of forest. royalty, sales tax, etc.) (Quarry Distance = 59 KM)

Labour charge for spreading of Hard River Gravel size 13mm. to 38mm to the required thickness including ramming and dressing the seat before laying the materials complete as directed.
