Surface excavation in any type of soil not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing of 11 kV VCB switchboard floor mounting, sheet steel clad, free standing, and dust & vermin proof, compartmentalized type VCB switchboard. The sheet steel 2mm thickness must be as per tested design of manufacturer. The switchboard shall be suitable for 12 kV, 3 Ph., 3 W, 50 Hz , AC system and complete with VCB, air insulated Aluminum Bus bar rated for 1200A for 11kV switchboard and suitable for a short circuit capacity of 18.4 KA for 1 sec Switchgear should be as per latest IEC 62271 (62271-1, 62271-100, 62271-200). All the compartments of the panel should be segregated from each other by means of earthed metallic sheet steel. The shutters which should be provided for safety purpose must be of earthed metallic sheet steel only. The shutter mechanism should be coupled with the movement of the withdraw-able truck. Except the busbar compartment, all the compartments of each cubicle should be independent from the similar compartment of the adjacent panels. The busbar compartment should run from end to end without any inter-panel barriers so that in the event of internal arc inside the bus bar compartment, the arc will travel along the length of the switchboard. Material and labour for structural steel work as in cross arms, bracings, supports, clamp and back plate fabricated from steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed by Engineer-in-Charge and applying two coats of aluminum paint over one coat of red oxide / zinc chrome primer including preparation of surfaces, complete all as specified & directed.
Material and labour for over head bus bar at receiving station for 66 KV comprising of 2 feeder bay inclusive of (Panther ACSR) Conductor and PG clamps etc complete with 66 KV string insulator 120 KN (as per site requirement) and 7/8 K SWG GI Shield wire, and busbar insulators , clamps and connections. all as specified . Note : The rate for PG clamps, string insulator tee off clamps etc shall deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the contractor, However rates for ACSR conductor(Panther ), GI Shield wire shall be measured and paid under respective item.
Supply and fixing of 66 KV post Insulator 120 KN Complete Set all as specified and directed.
Supply and fixing for ACSR conductor (Penther) including supply & fixing of copper binding wire or aluminium tapes (weight not to be added in the weight of conductor) complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fixing of 7/8 K SWG GI Shield wire complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for MS flat 50 x 6 mm for connecting earthing electrode to fencing equipments, earthing mesh in the yard etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) MS flat will be buried 60cm below ground level (ii) Cost of earth work, (excavation, removal and returning filling in etc) wherever required is deemed to be included in the quoted rate of the item.
M & L for Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600x600x 3.15 mm burried directly in ground not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.25 Mtr below normal ground level connected to the copper strip 20x3 mm size by means of bolts ,nuts,check nuts and washers of brass and 20x3 mm copper strip protected by provision of GI medium grade pipe 40 mm bore incl provision of concrete pit in PCC1:2:4 type B-i , using 20 mm graded stone aggregates with 40 mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) reinforced with XPM weight not less than 4 Kg /Sqm and 6mm dia bar handle, earth work in any type of soil ,charcoal dust and salt, light grade GI watering pipe 20 mm bore with funnel and wire and copper strip upto main earthing of pole/equipment complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Sch 2009 Part-I all as specified and directed . Note:- (i) Up to 7.5 Mtr length of pipe of 40 mm dia and copper strip shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the tenderer. ‘(ii) Resistance of earthing should be less than 1 Ohms failing which the contractor will do the earthing again to achieve the desired result i.e. less than 1 ohms (iii) In case soil is not suitable same is to be replaced with good quality clay soil to achieve the desired result of less than 1 ohms (iv) Quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive for the above aspects’.
M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thickness not less than 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below the normal ground level ) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below the normal ground level connected to galvanized iron strip 32X6mm by means of nuts bolts, washers, check nuts of GI steel all as shown in electric plate no 3 of SSR -2009 Part I, all as specified and indicated complete and including charcoal dust, salt etc and GI protection pipe medium grade 40mm and GI watering pipe 20mm light grade with funnel and wire mesh ,40mm thick pre-cast RCC N-15 (nominal mix) cover reinforced with XPM weight not less than 4 kg /sqm with suitable handle of 6mm dia MS bar and angle iron 40x40x3mm frame for cover ,PCC M-15 (nominal Mix) pit, earth work in any type of soil and connected all as specified and as directed. Note:(i) The schedule of credit has been attached in tender in Pdf format and amount of credit schedule i.e. Rs 109354.00 shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.(ii) Soft/loose/hard/dense/mud type soil shall be classified as any type of soil , where ever mentioned in this BOQ.
