REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF CEILING FAN, EXHAUST FAN AND CONNECTED ITEMS AT MILITARY STATION KOTA

Disconnecting of electric connection from ceiling rose and taking down ceiling/exhaust fan any type and any sweep from roof/wall of various buildings and shifting the same to MES store yard/workshop, dismantling the same to check and assess the defect and reassembling the same after carrying out necessary repairs/ replacement of copper wire winding/defective parts including testing in E/M store yard and replacement of PVC insulated flexible twin core twisted copper conductor cable of size 23/.0076, and rehanging/refixing and reconnecting the same, complete all as specified and directed. (Note: M&L for copper wire winding of fans and supply only of parts of fans shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items. However, cost of PVC insulated flexible cable shall be deemed included in the unit rates of this item.)

M&L Cutting down and removing old copper winding wire and rewinding the same with new super enamelled copper wire of suitable gauge as per existing including providing insulation by varnishing, oiling and greasing etc complete, complete all as specified and directed for the following size of fans: - a) 1200 mm sweep ceiling fan

b) 1400 mm sweep ceiling fan

c) 300 mm sweep exhaust fan

d) 375 mm sweep exhaust fan

e) 450 mm sweep exhaust fan

Supply only following parts/components of ceiling fan as per existing make and size, complete all as specified and directed: - a) Gun metal bush bearing

b) Ball bearing of size suitable for various ceiling fans (Make : NBC/SKF/ABC/ANT)

c) Oil capacitor 2.5/3.00/3.50 MFD as required depending upon the model of ceiling fan including plastic holder for capacitor (Make : USHA/ASIAN/KELTRON /UNIVERSAL).

d) Connector bakelite two terminals each end

e) Rubber bush with galvanised MS Bolt and Nut

f) PVC canopy for ceiling fan (Make : USHA/GEC/POLAR/HIMADRI/ CROMPTON/KASSELS etc.)

Supply only following parts/components of exhaust fan as per existing make and size complete all as specified and directed.: - a) Gun metal bush

b) Ball bearing of size suitable for various exhaust fans (Make : NBC/SKF/ABC/ANT)

c) Oil capacitor 4.0 MFD including plastic holder for capacitor (Make : USHA/ASIAN/KELTRON /UNIVERSAL).

d) Set of 300 mm sweep exhaust fan blades with screws (Set of three blades) (Make : GEC/UNIVERSAL)

e) Set of 375 mm sweep exhaust fan blades with screws (Set of three blades) (Make : GEC/UNIVERSAL)

f) Set of 450 mm sweep exhaust fan blades with screws (Set of three blades) (Make : GEC/UNIVERSAL)

M&L for preparing surface of old ceiling fan of any size/model/sweep by scraping old paint from body, blades and down rod etc, removing all dust, oil marks etc and filling cavities with fillers and applying one coat of 1st grade high gloss synthetic enamel paint with using spray painting machine and writing of MES number with black synthetic enamel paint on fan body, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing surface of old exhaust fan of any size/model/sweep by scraping old paint from body, blades and fixing frame etc, removing all dust, oil marks etc and filling cavities with fillers and applying one coat of 1st grade high gloss synthetic enamel paint with using spray painting machine and writing of MES number with black synthetic enamel paint on fan body, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only down rod of ceiling fan, up to 0.90 m length, fabricated out of MS pipe 12 mm bore, heavy duty, duly painted with white synthetic enamel paint, suitable for ceiling fan of any description, size, make, brand and model, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only standard blade set (1200 or 1400 mm sweep) including fixing screws suitable for ceiling fan of any description, make and model, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F MS louvers with nuts, bolts and washers suitable for exhaust fan 300 mm sweep of any description, make and model after taking down old existing unserviceable PVC MS louvers, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F MS louvers with nuts, bolts and washers suitable for exhaust fan 450 mm sweep of any description, make and model after taking down old existing unserviceable PVC MS louvers, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only frame for fixing of 300mm sweep exhaust fan of any description, make and model, duly factory painted, including necessary nuts, bolts and washers etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only frame for fixing of 450mm sweep exhaust fan of any description, make and model, duly factory painted, including necessary nuts, bolts and washers etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only standard MS clamps including rubber shoe with nuts, & bolts, suitable for exhaust fan of any description, make and model after taking down old existing unserviceable clamps, complete all as specified and directed.
