Maintenance of Residential Buildings under Kamalpur PWD (RnB) Divisions during the year 2026-27

Dismantling old plaster or pointing, raking out joints, cleaning and preparing the surface for re-plastering or re-pointing including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground with all leads and lifts etc.complete as per direction of the Engineer- in-charge.

Providing and applying cement slurry on old CC / RCC / Brick works in joints to receive new and fresh CC / RCC / Brick works including roughening and cleaning the old surface as required complete as per direction of the Engineer in charge.

Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.

Distempering with dry distemper of approved brand and manufacture and of required shade on old work ( one or more coats ), to give an even shade as required complete as per direction of the Engineer in charge.

Finishing walls with acrylic smooth exterior paint of required shade of approved brand and manufacture on old work ( one or more coats ) including preparation of surface as required complete as per direction of the Engineer in charge.

Finishing with epoxy paint ( one or more coats ) of approved brand and manufacture at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer's specification on old work including preparation of surface etc. as required complete as per direction of the Engineer in charge:- On steel work

Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. 75mm average thickness

Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped portion of RCC as per specifications and as per direction of Engineer-In-charge complete in all respect. Epoxy bonding adhesive having coverage 2.20 sqm/kg of approved make

For sealing cracks and faulty construction joints, by preparing the surface, making U-shape groove size of 25x25mm and then priming the surface with integral crystalline slurry @0.05kg per running meter and while the surface is tacky then filling the groove upto top edge with crystalline mortar @1.50kg per running meter. Once crystalline mortar is touch dry then finally applying two coats of integral crystalline slurry @0.05kg per running meter per coat on treated surface.

Grading roof for water proofing treatment complete as required as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge with : Cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 fine sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)
