Cutting uprooting and clearing jungles including shrubs, water weeds, bushes, trees, plants, upto 30 cm. Girth including removing as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in ordinary soil / mixed soil i.e. clay mixed with moorun , kankar, pebbles / silt dry or moist / slushy silt / sticky soil for WDS / WHS / RESERVOIR / SFMIS etc with hydraulic excavator of required bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirement of lines, grades and cross section and transporting to embankment/ disposal site within all lifts and lead upto 1000 m including spreading, leveliing disposed spoils at disposed area. ( mode of measurement : pre work and post work)

Excavation in gravel / moorum / kankar / compact moorum / very much weathered rock / sticky soil mixed with moorum or ghooting for WDS / WHS / RESERVOIR / SFMIS etc with hydraulic excavator of required bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirement of lines, grades and cross section and transporting to embankment/ disposal site within all lifts and lead upto 1000 m including spreading , leveliing disposed spoils at disposed area. ( mode of measurement : pre work and post work)

Excavation in soft weather rock / solt laterite rocks for WDS / WHS/RESERVOIR / SFMIS etc with hydraulic excavator of required bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirement of lines, grades and cross section and transporting to embankment/ disposal site within all lifts and lead upto 1000 m including spreading, leveliing disposed spoils at disposed area. (mode of measurement : pre work and post work)

Earthwork in excavation in the canals / drainage channels / borrow pits / River bed / slope of bank as noted below as per designed section & throwing the spoils in layers of 25 cm. for making banks as per profile or to deposit the same in any other place within an initial lead of 30 metre and initial lift of 1.5 metre including breaking clods, rough dressing etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (d) Hard rock / conglomerated rock / hard weathered rock / hard laterite where blasting is prohibited. [to be executed as per specific direction of the Superintending Engineer & DPD(Technical)]

Compacting earthwork in embankment in layers of 25 cm. by power roller or by any other mechanical means, like tractor driven sheep foot roller/ vibrating plate compactor earth rammer etc., (not at OMC) including necessary watering, labour charges, hire charges of all materials, tools & plants etc. and including cost and supply of all materials complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Payment will be made on the basis of Pre-work & Post-work level)

Turfing with chorkata or durba grass sods 5 cm. to 8 cm. thick in slope, crest berm etc. of embankments, canals and drainage channels etc. within a lead of 150 metre and all lifts including fine dressing, watering, ramming, guarding etc. complete. (sods will have to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. Payment to be made on the grown grass only).

Extra rate over Item No 1.70 for each additional lead of 75 metre or part thereof beyond the initial lead of 150 metre upto 750 metre

For Outlet

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.

Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm / sq.m.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches.

Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor), 25 mm to 30 mm shuttering without staging in foundation

Supplying, fitting and fixing PVC pipes for underground work of approved make of Schedule 80 (medium duty) conforming to ASTMD - 1785 and threaded to match with GI Pipes as per IS : 1239 (Part - I). with all necessary accessories, specials viz. socket, bend, tee, union, cross, elbo, nipple, longscrew, reducing socket, reducing tee, short piece etc. fitted including cost of all materials ,jointing materials, cutting pipes, making threads ,cutting trenches upto 1.5 metre below surface in all sorts of soil and refilling the same as directed complete in all respect. (Payment will be made on the centre line measurement of the total pipe line including all specials No separate payment will be made for accessories, specials.) PVC Pipe 200 mm dia

Ordinary Cement Concrete (mix1:2:4) with garaded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement, if any in ground floor as per relevant IS code.a) Pakur variety

Painting block letters or digits in Black Japan or any approved paint as per direction. e) Size above 7.5 cm. and upto 10 cm Writing of staff gauging in Feet for measuring water depth of WDS in Block Letter on Chute Wall face.

Supplying, fitting and fixing including transportation of sign board for identifying the exact location of scheme , the board will be made 1.5 mm thick MS plate of size 1000 mm x 750 mm and fitted and fixed on 50 mm GI Pipe of IS 1239/90 (part-1) including cutting, welding and pasting printed digital display and bottom end of the stands pipe will be grouted in 1:2:4 CC as per drawing and direction of E.I.C.
