Note applicable for all Items of BOQ:- 1. The entire scope of work is to be carried out at a height upto 10 meters from ground level . 2. Rates are deemed to be included for scaffolding works. Contractor shall arrange all scaffolding works and shall take all the safety precautions for the workers deployed in the site at the time of carrying out works. 3. Contractor should visit the site before qouting the tender to have the knowledge about working conditions.

Dismantling single layer of Mangalore pattern tiles in roofing complete as specified and as directed.

Dismantling Single layer Mangalore pattern or similar tiles in roofing, ridged etc bedded in lime or cement mortar complete as specified and as directed.

M&L, roof tiles Mangalore pattern interlocking at side joints, laid dry complete as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 3 here above but except tiles complete as specified and as directed. Note:- Old Serviceable Tiles obtained from dismantling shall be used after cleaning all as directed.

M&L, ridge or hip tiles to suit Mangalore pattern or roofing tiles bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 complete as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster of any description including raking out joints, hacking for key and scrubbing down with water complete as specified and as directed.

Cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roofs/terracing/walls, cleaning out, wetting, grouting with cement and sand slurry 1:3 including water proofing compound with Staging to work in high altitude etc. complete as specified and as directed. Note:- Supply only Water Proofing Compound will be measured and paid separately.

M&L, 15mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces mixed with liquid water proofing compound, surface finished even and fair, complete as specified and directed. Note:- Supply only Water Proofing Compound will be measured and paid separately.

Supply only Liquid waterproofing compund.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (20mm graded stone aggregate) as in roof kerb, rounded or chamfered on edges, complete as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new MP roof tile surfaces by cleaning the surfaces and applying two coats of antifungal paint using UNIGLOSS deluxe multi surface paint over a coat of primer complete as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old MP roof tile surfaces by cleaning the surfaces and applying one coats of antifungal paint using UNIGLOSS deluxe multi surface paint complete as specified and directed.

M&L preperation of old decorated surfaces and applying one coat of sandtex matt finish on wall all as specified and as per manufacturer instructions.

M&L preperation of new plastered surfaces and applying two coats of sandtex matt finish on wall over a coat of primer all as specified and as per manufacturer instructions.

M&L Complete removal of existing treatment and applying two coats of sandtex matt finish on wall over a coat of primer all as specified and as per manufacturer instructions.

M&L Preparation of old steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth and painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete as specified and directed.

M&L Preparation of old steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth including complete removal of existing treatment and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete as specified and directed.

Demolition of concrete in Roofs, Floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landings, chajjas and similar suspended works complete as specified and directed.
