SUPPLY & INSTALLATION OF EXHAUST FANS IN THE ROOF OF MAIN WORKSHOP AT FACT-CD, AMBALAMEDU.
Supply of three phase exhaust fan suitable for vertical mouning with the following specifications: Watts: 450-600 W RPM: 850-950 Sweep: 24"/600mm
Installation of the supplied exhaust fans in the roof of main workshop building. The scope of work includes installation of the exhaust fans to the existing structures about 40 feet high, termination, glanding, wiring up and connecting the exhaust fans to the power supply. The scope of work also includes fabrication works like providing extra support for fan, bolt holes etc for fixing fans. All the fastners, bolts, nuts, washers, MS structurals and other items required for fixing the fans to the support shall be supplied by the contractor. The contractor shall ensure adherence to all the safety measures while executing the work at higher elevations.
Supply of 650/1100V, copper conductor PVC insulated, extruded PVC sheathed, armoured, FRLS PVC outer sheathed YWY/YFY cable of size 5c x 2.5 sq.mm.
Laying of 5c x 2.5sq.mm cable supplied through walls, roof supports etc. The cables layed through walls/roof supports shall be neatly clamped with GI saddles in an interval of 300mm. The cables routed through the roof supports/structures shall be clamped to MS supports. These supports shall be fabricated using MS flats and shall be painted using Aluminium paint (after primer coating) after fixing/welding to the metal structures. All the saddles, MS flats, fixing screws, nuts, bolts, washers etc required for executing the work shall be supplied by contractor. The suitable welding rod shall be supplied by FACT free of cost.
Glanding and termination of the 5c x 2.5 sqmm cable in exhaust fan, DB and DOL starter using suitable single compression glands. The suitable nickel plated brass glands shall be supplied by the contractor.
Supply and installation of three phase DOL starter suitable for the exhaust fan supplied, with the following specifications: Phase: 3 Type: DOL Relay range: 0.6-1 A / Suitable for the fan supplied Coil voltage: 415V Make: L&T Mk1 or equivalent The scope of work includes fixing the starter on the wall using suitable fastners, wiring up DOL starter etc. All accessories required for completing the work shall be supplied by the contractor.
