Repair to potholes any depth not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming and making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 Sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surface exc 50mm and n exc 100mm deep incl removing to a distance n exc 50 m and stacking all as specified and directed

M & L for 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregate of Granite trap or Balast grading 1 (50 to 20mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated with 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in charge

M&L for Preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 Kg per 10 Sqm(paving bitumen grade VG-30) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparing existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose, dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen grade VG-30) at @5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Premix bituminous, macadam using paving bitumen grade VG-30 content @ 4% by weight of total mix laid /rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8-10 tonne power roller and rolled to a uniform smooth surface (any consolidated thickness) complete all as specified and directed.(consolidated thickness 75 mm or less)

M&L for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content of which (Paving bitumen VG-30 @ 92% and 8% waste plastic) by weight of total mix providing and laying with mechanical paver and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Minimum bitumen content shall be 5.5% as specified here in above. Please note that if the actual qty of bitumen to be incorporated on approval of job mix formula is found more than minimum bitumen content specified above. No price adjustment shall be for actual bitumen content of mix design bitumen shall be paving bitumen of Graded VG-30 and shall be procured by the contractor.

M&L for 1.5 mm thick painting to road surfaces as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters, zebra crossing etc on roads, pavements and like with thermoplastic road marking of white and yellow colour applying glass beads @ 300 gms/Sqm over painted surfaces while the painting surfaces are by hot mechanical means including cleaning surfaces complete all as specified and directed. Surface dressing of soft/loose soil n exc 15 cm deep at road side berm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 100 mm spread thickness Moorum / red bajri spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required.

M & L for 75 mm spread thickness Moorum / red bajri spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required.

S & F in repairs of Road Studs(Cat eye) two way reflective of 100mm x 100mm x 18.5mm ,ABS Body Reflective Panel of Amber, Red or White provided at site as per manufactuer's instructions with suitable rivet head nails and adhesive complete all as directed (Make : Model No. DA 978 of Dark Eye or equivalent make of 3M/Sinor Infrastructure).

S&F of solar - powered environment friendly,LED based Road stud made of aluminium-aloy shell, 100% waterproof design according to IP 65, dimention of 125mm x 125mm x 25 mm (Shank 60mm), High efficiency Mono-crystalline Solar Panel 2.4V/0.3 watt, One Ni-Mh or NL-cd rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600 MA), Six super bright LEDs with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd (Millicandela), View distance : upto 1000 Meters , Flash rate : 2Hz, Bearable Weight : 10 Tons approx, working time for 3 to 4 days provided at site as per manufacturer's instructions . (Make: Dhruv Model DA 110 of Dark Eye or equivalent make of 3M/Sinor Infrastructure)

M&L for precast cement concrete type B1 1:2:4 ( 20 mm graded aggregate) as in cover slab for drain, set in CM (1:4) etc with necessary formwork incl making holes with PVC pipes for rain water complete all as specified

M&L TMT reinforcement bar, Fe-500D, bars 10mm and over, cut to length bend Shape required including cranking bending spirally for hooping ends and binding with MS wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia all as specified and as directed.

S& F road side safety convex mirror made up of polycarbonate body is made of ABS/plastic incl mounting hardware pole mounted bracket nuts and bolts of dimension 800 mm dia and excavation for post size 300 x300 x450 mm filling with PCC 1:3:6 type C1 complete all as specified and directed

Excavation in trenches n. exc. 1.5 m wide and n. exc. 1.5 m depth in loose /soft soil and getting out as directed

Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, leveling watering and ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in soft loose soil all as directed

Removing of excavated material n exc. 50 m and deposited as directed

Material and labour for providing Plain Cement Concrete (1:3:6) type C-2, (using 40 mm grade stone aggregate) as in foundation and PCC bed/haunching to hume pipe mass concrete complete, all as specified and directed

M & L for Cement concrete in foundations , filling and mass concrete type D-2, 1:4:8 (40 mm graded) all as specified and directed

Demolition Cement concrete (unreinforced) n exc 15 cm thick (below or above ground level) as directed

Material and labour for Plain Cement Concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in bencing/ coping including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in surface channels, road side drains includng use & waste of fromwork complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement ,including forms ,moulds, mitred/stopped ends etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of 300 mm nominal dia unserviceable cast iron or re-inforcement concrete, set in cement mortar including PCC haunching complete and removing to a distance not exc 50 meter complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and laying of RCC class NP2 pipes of dia 300 mm jointed & laid complete with collar with proper slope ,tested as specified and instructions of Engineer-In-Charge

S & F tubes,50 mm GI pipedia 'light grade' galvanised, with all fitting and fixed complete to laid in floors/ground for passing of cable,GI pipe etc complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work/stone masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlars facings, dressed stone work and pre-cast concrete articles all as directed.

M&L for old size Sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar ( 1:4) having compressive strenght not less than 75 kg/Sq cm all as specified and directed.

Ditto as per Item No 30 except bricks all as specified and directed.

M & L, 15mm thick rendering in C.M. (1:4) on fair faces of brick work finished even and fair without using extra cement

M&L for preparation of new undecorated surface of wall and applying three coats of white wash on wall.

Dismantling stone slab and tiles of any description or thickness laid bedded and pointed in mortar all as specifed and directed

Providing and laying 80mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-30 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand; complete.

NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the IRC specifications shall be followed. 2. Unless otherwise specified the rates for PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the work. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details.
