Note:- (a) The work of periodical services shall be carried out as upto G+2 building. Necessary steel scaffolding shall be provided by the contractor. All safety measures shall be strictly adhered. (b) Contractor shall also ensure medical/life insurance cover for the labour party and the copy of the same shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE through EIC. (c) The contractor shall submit the guarantee of 5 years life for double coats weather coat painting. (d) The work of weather coat painting shall be carried out through company applicator only. (e) Contractor should take care not to break roof tiles while doing painting and if any tiles are broken during painting, contractor need to replace it with own expense and without any cost to department. (f) All debris, unserviceable items shall be removed from site and thrown away at dumping area inside INA area upto a distance of 3.00 Kms where directed. Loading, Unloading, staking and transportation charges are included in relevent items of taking down or demolition / dismantling. (g) The work shall be executed on sloped roof/ flat roof upto a height of 18m. Contractor should ensure the safety of labour and should adhere to the safety precautions while working in elevated places/ roof tops. (h) Old MP tiles & ridges obtained from item No.08 shall be re-fixed at any other buildings roof upto a distance of 3KM. Transportation charges are included against relevant item for fixing.

M&L for preparation of surface by removal of existing treatment on walls using scarpper/ waterjet/ scrubber etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for treating holes cracks etc. upto 5 mm making V groove using patti blades and filling the cracks with ready to use crack fillers of Pidilite/Asian/Fosroc chemicals and allowed to dry complete all as specified and as manufacturer's instructions.

M&L for treating holes cracks etc more than 5 mm up to 10 mm by making V groove using patti blades and filling the cracks with cement and sand aggregate mixture developed with polymer modified mortar (PMM) with suitable polymer like home shield crack fill or equivalent in Pidilite/ Fosroc/ Asian or equivalent in approved makes.

M&L for treating holes cracks etc. more than 10 mm and up to 40 mm and filling the cracks by using flexible 2 pack poly sulphide sealants like home shield joint seal GG / PG (Asian/Berger/Dr Fixit make or equivalent in any approved make) and allowed to dry complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying two or more coats of 100% premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (company depot tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old treated/ new surfaces of MP roof tile surfaces by cleaning with by wire brushes to remove all existing fungal growth etc and applying one coat of antifungal paint using UNIGLOSS deluxe multi surface paint or equivalent including necessary scaffolding complete all as specified and as directed and as per manufacturer's instructions.

Dismantling single layer of mangalore pattern tiles in roofing and ceiling complete as specified and directed inclusive of provn of steel scaffolding as per standard engineering practice including removing the u/s and broken tiles from site after completion of work.

M&L for roof tiles mangalore pattern interlocking at side joints, laid dry complete as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge inclusive of provn of steel scaffolding as per standard engineering practice.

All as per item No.09 above but fixed with cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No.09 above but except tiles complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for ridge or hip tiles to suit mangalore pattern of roofing tiles, bedded and jointed in lime mortar 1:3 or cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

Re-fixing ridge or hip tiles to suit mangalore pattern of roofing tiles, bedded and jointed in lime mortar 1:3 or cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work/aluminium sections of any description not otherwise provided complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of plain or corrugated steel / PVC sheeting of any gauge, thickness, including nainital or similiar pattern roof coverings complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying cement slurry with 3.0 kg of cement per sq.metre over existing RCC roof complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 20 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 using water proofing compound and finishing the surface fair and even complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Water proofing compound will be measured and paid separately.

M&L for two coats of Dr Fixit/Asian Paints/Berger Paints or equivalent roof seal classic water proofing coat at rate of application of 2 - 2.2 Sqm/Litre/each coat over a coat of self priming at the rate of application of 9-10 sqm/litre/coat of complete as per manufacturer's instruction and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking down cement plaster on brick/ PCC block wall or stone walls etc including racking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work/stone work/concrete surfaces in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of new surfaces and applying two coats of exteror emulsion over a coat of primer to external wall/ chajja/ roof projection etc complete all as specified and as per manufacturer's instructions.

M&L for scrapping and cleaning the joints/ cracks in between stone cladding /any type of wall and applying Dr Fixit/Asian Paints/Berger Paints or equivalent smartcare hybrid PU sealent and finished smooth and matching with existing surface complete all as manufacturer's instructions and as directed by Engg in Charge.

M&L for preparation of MP roof tile surfaces by cleaning the tiles and applying two coats of antifungal tile guard paint of approved colour complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as specified.

Taking down of cement plaster from the joints between MP tiles and wall faces, making faces of wall surfaces rough, applying cement slurry of 3kg/sqm, 20 mm thick and 15 to 20 cm wide plastering with cement mortar 1:3 mixed with liquid water proofing compound of 200 ml/50 kg of cement, applying two coats Dr Fixit/ Asian Paints/Berger Paints or equivalent roof seal classic water proofing coat at rate of application of 2 - 2.2 Sqm/Litre/each coat over a coat of self priming at the rate of application of 9-10 sqm/litre/coat and finally applying one coat of antifungal paint of approved colour complete all as specified and directed by Engg in Charge.

Demolition of plain cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) as in filling and levelling course complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping, roof kerbs etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 10mm thick rendering in CM 1:3 on roof with liquid water proofing compound surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Liquid water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for preparation of roof surface by throughly wire brushed, washed, dried up, cleaned of all the foreign matter and dust, and applying bituminous primer @ 250 gms/sqm, and then laying 4mm thick APP modified bituminous membrane with non woven polyester matt as reinforcement weighing not less than 4.00Kg per sqm, laid on primed surface with torch application method by providing overlap minimum 100mm on longitudinal and 150mm on transverse direction. All angles and similiar projections should be sealed well with extra care to ensure full bondage, all joints and changes in direction should be curved with cement mortar 1:3 mixed with SBR Latex @ 200ml/bag of cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying one coat of solar reflective aluminium paint over APP roof membarane including preparation of old/new roof surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 0.50mm thick Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of approved colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and as directed at any height. Note:- The quoted rates is deemed to be inclusive of necessary scaffolding also.

S&F 0.5 mm thick Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of approved colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall,ridge etc fixed with self tapping screws, rivetting with existing roof sheets/ valley gutters, bolting on to parapet walls etc complete all as specified and as directed at any height. Note:- The quoted rates is deemed to be inclusive of necessary scaffolding also.

S&F MS steel work in tubular sections (Circular/ Square/ Rectangular) as in post, trusses, brackets, purlins, rafters etc., conforming to IS 1161-1998 grade St-240 for hollow tubes including necessary welding etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for scrapping down the existing treatment on walls by rubbing,washing etc and applying two coat of acrylic emulsion interior grade over a coat of primer over two coat of putty mixed with Dr Fixit 302/Asian Paints/Berger Paints Super Latex (or equivalent products of approved make) over a coat of Dr Fixit 302/Asian Paints/ Berger Paints smart care damp proof (or equivalent products of approved make) as thick paste complete all as specified and as per manufacturer's instructions.
