Repairing & Maintenance Work

First class brick work in foundation and plinth including cost of all materials as required complete:- In cement mortar 1:6 ( 1 cement : 6 fine sand ).

Providing wood work in frames of doors, windows, clerestory windows and other frames, wrought framed and fixed in position : Local Teak Wood

Providing and fixing ISI marked flush door shutters conforming to IS: 2202 (Part I) decorative type, core of block board construction with frame of 1st class hard wood and well matched teak 3 ply veneering with vertical grains or cross bands and face veneers on both faces of shutters. 35 mm thick including ISI marked Stainless Steel butt hinges with necessary screws.

Providing and fixing aluminium sliding door bolts ISI marked anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868) transparent or dyed to required colour or shade with nuts and screws etc. complete : 250x16 mm

Providing and fixing aluminium tower bolts ISI marked anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868 ) transparent or dyed to required colour or shade with necessary screws etc. complete : 250x10 mm

Providing and fixing aluminium handles ISI marked anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868) transparent or dyed to required colour or shade with necessary screws etc. complete : 125 mm

Providing and fixing factory made door frame (single rebate) made of solid PVC foam profile with homogenous fine cellular structure having smooth outer integral skin having 60mm width & 30mm thickness and shall be fixed to wall as per instructions of Engineer-In-Charge using 100x8 sheet metal CSK screws.

Providing and fixing 28 mm thick door shutter made of solid PVC foam profile with homogenous fine cellular structure having smooth outer integral skin having 71mm width & 28mm thick as vertical & horizontal styles. Joints are made using solvent adhesive and GI ‘C sections (39mm x 19mm x 0.6mm thick) or M S pipe (40mm x 20mm ) stiffener frame insert & telescopic polymeric ‘L’ corners .The panel shall be filled with 3mm thick high - pressure compact laminate as per manufacturer’s specifications and directions of the Engineer-in- charge, cover moulding shall be provided for covering fixing screws and elegant look.( for W.C. bathroom door shutter).

Neat cement punning.

Distempering with dry distemper of approved brand and manufacture (two or more coats) of required shade on new work, over and including water thinnable priming coat to give an even shade. [Payment shall be made after submission of Test Certificate issued by the Manufacturer]

Finishing walls with acrylic smooth exterior paint of required shade of approved brand and manufacture [Payment shall be made after submission of Test Certificate issued by the Manufacturer] : New work ( two or more coats applied @ 1.67 litre/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm)

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade [Payment shall be made after submission of Test Certificate issued by the Manufacturer]: Two or more coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint (primer) of approved brand and manufacture

Disconnecting damaged overhead/terrace PVC water storage tank of any size from water supply line and removing from the terrace including shifting at ground level as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Fixing chowkhats in existing opening including embedding chowkhats in floors or walls, cutting masonry / RCC / CC for hold fasts, embedding hold fasts in cement concrete blocks with cement concrete 1 : 3 : 6 ( 1 cement : 3 fine sand : 6 graded well burnt brick aggregate 20 mm nominal size ) painting two coats of coal tar to sides of chowkhats and making good the damages to walls and floors as required including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground with all leads and lifts complete as per direction of the Engineer in charge:-

Making the opening in brick masonry including dismantling in floor or walls by cutting masonry and making good the damages to walls, flooring and jambs complete, to match existing surface i/c disposal of mulba/ rubbish to the nearest municipal dumping ground, all complete as per directions of Engineer-In- Charge. For door/ window/ clerestory window

Providing and fixing glazing of approved quality in aluminium doors, windows, ventilator, shutters and partition etc. with EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket etc. complete as per architectural drawing and the direction of Engineer-in-charge (Cost of snap beading shall be paid in basic item) :- With float glass panes of 4.0 mm thickness ( weight not less than 10.0 kg / sqm )
