M&L for Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying a tack coat of bitumen 20/30 @0.5 Kg/sqm over the existing bitumious surface and providing 30mm thick Mastic asphalt on prepared surface strictly in accordance with IS 5317-2002 (latest modified) with Mastic i.e. bituminous of grade 20/30 @4.49 Kg mixed with stone dust (lime stone powder with calcium value 80%) @ .008 Cum/Sqm and stone chipping of size 12.5mm and 10mm @.0096 Cum/Sqm and sand @0.004 Cum/Sqm and inserting stone 22mm size with .017kg of 20/30 bitumen/sqm for anti skiding including all tools and plants etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 05 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated on hot pressure mechanism over old black top surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Bituminous premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) with crushed and graded coarse aggregates as per design based on Job mix formula with 5.5% bitumen binder content (bitumen of Grade VG-30) by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous concrete in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading uniformly by means of Mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller to a uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Notes : (i) The actual requirement of binder shall be as per the job mix formula and test specified. However quantity from the mix formula found more than specified 5.5% same will be provided with no extra cost to the Govt. In case binder content found to be less than 5.5% as per mix formula as specified in Schedule 'A' shall be adusted @ the rate of 46.90/KG for the less quanity of bitumen used. The quantity of 5.5 % mentioned is exclusive of any wastage and no wastage shall be taken onto account for the purpose of above adjustment. (ii) Paving bitumen primer of Grade VG-10 for tack coat and bitumen of Grade VG-30 for semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be used and shall be procured by the contractor under his own arrangement and at his own cost. (iii) Cost of all the materials, T&P, labour etc. required for preparation of surfaces, applying tack coat, providing and laying semi dense asphaltic concrete including procurement of bitumen as specified here-in-before, stone aggregates & sand etc, rolling and all other elements required for entire completion of the job shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm, depth exc 50 mm and not exc 100 mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates of granite, trap or basalt stone of grading 2 (63 mm to 40 mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size), blinded with screening of hard stone of grading ‘A’, spread, watered and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, hollows made up to form true surface and consolidated to required gradient and camber etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for preparing newly laid un-surfaced WBM surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 10 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated on hot pressure mechanism complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing, laying, spreading premix bituminous macadam with crushed and graded stone aggregate mixed together with 4.5% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous macadam in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading by means of mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for repairs to pot holes, not exc 1 square metre each, including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, on existing road surfaces, and making good applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 05 Kg per 10 Sqm and providing premixed bituminous macadam with crushed and graded stone aggregate mixed together with 4.5% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping, depth of pot holes exc 30mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Providing and applying 1 mm to 2mm thick road marking paint (retro-reflective with glass bends @ 250 gms per sqm) of specified shade / colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully / semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T & P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.

Demolition of PQC / PCC of any description and in any position any thickness below or above ground level, including removal of debris to a distance exc 1.5 km but n.exc 5 km

M&L for 100mm thick or less Dry Lean Concrete in layers n.exc 15 cm thick using minimum cement 150 Kg/cum and 7 days compressive strength 10 Mpa using grading as per MORTH specification and as per design mix (SSR Part-I), spread, rolled and consolidated to required camber and gradient neccessary paver roller of capacity with 8 to 10 tonne as per clause 20.B.6.2 of SSR Part-I including necessary steel form work all as specified and directed Note:- (i) Design mix for DLC will be carried out from the authorised Lab and shall be approved by GE before execution at site. (ii) The Cost incurred towards the testing and design shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M&L for sand cushioning 10mm thick over PCC surfaces, spread rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 150 micron polythene film (HDPE) black colour laid over sand cushioning complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L for 200mm thick PQC design mix for pavement/hard standing of flexural strength 35Kg/Sqcm and minimum 400 Kg of cement per Cum, with tringular Synthetic polyster Fiber @ 0.25% by weight of cement including necessary steel form work all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Admixture (i.e super plasticizer) as per approved design mix shall be added & mixed and cost of Admixter (i.e super plasticizer) shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 'A'. (ii) Non circular synthetic fibre as secondary reinforcement mixed in concrete shall be measured and paid separtely under respective item of this schedule. However mixing shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) Construction joints, dummy (contraction joints) and expansion joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (iv) Deduction shall be made in computing concrete quantity for expansion joints.

Supply only tringular synthetic polyster fibers with circum circle diameter 30-35 micron design for melting point above 250 degree Celsius and having specific gravity of 1.34 to 1.39, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for forming 20mm thick expansion joint for 200mm thickness of concrete slab filled with preformed btiuminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound grade 'B' including boring formwork and performed filler board all as specified and as directed.

M&L for forming construction joints 30mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound Grade 'B' complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for forming contraction(Dummy) joints 65mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound Grade 'B' complete all as specified and as directed.

Finishing surface of concrete roads pavement by floater, plate vibrator and brooming with hand with PVC Brush 30cm to 45cm long upto a depth of 1-2 mm only as per clause 20.B.7.12.3 of SSR Part-I etc when the concrete is green complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling old road sign board of any type and any description including posts or struts, including taking out embedded portion in concrete/brick work, masonry etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each not exc 0.50 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exc 25cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 m and making good surface in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L in replacement for fabrication and erecting of Road sign Board of size 1200mm x 1200 mm (size of aluminium composite panel) errect in position as directed adopting the following specification / measurement. (a) Main Post 02 Nos of stainless steel pipe 50 mm dia & 1.5 mm wall thickness of grade 316, lenght of each post 2.10 mtr( 1.8 mtr above GL and 0.30 mtr below GL) (b) Frame around aluminium sheet , fabrication with 25 mm size stainless steel square tube with 1.5 mm wall thickness including fixing arrangement for aluminium sheet and welded on main post. (c) 3 mm thick aluminium composite panel material of 2 mm thick mineral core sandwiched between two aluminium sheets (each 0.5 mm thick). The aluminium composite panel shall be coil coated, with kynar 500 based PVDF / Lumiflon based fluoropolymer resin coating of approved colour and shade on exposed face and polymer (service) coating on other face, fixed over SS frame. (d) Providing both side of aluminium sheet High intensity prismatic grade retro reflective sheeting as base and with cut out massage (legends borders, letters numerals, site map sheeting, pasting as per manufactures instruction . Make : 3M/TATA/DARK EYE or equivalent make approved by the GE. (Note; Stainless steel section mentioned above shall be of grade 316.)

S&F in repair raised reflective road stud (Pavement marker/cat eyes), manufactured with high impact resistant aluminium alloy body of size 100mm x 100m x20mm two side fitted with polycabonate micro prismatic reflector element on two sides, fixed over road surface with epoxy adhesive as per manufactureres instructions all as specified and as diredted.
