Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road, clause 1603.1 and 1603.2 of General Conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials for dumping in specified manner i/c arrangement of dumping site, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding. The recovery of useful stone that is 1548.76 cum. (one thousand five hundred forty eight point seventy six Cubic Metre) in all cases, taking which the recovery @ Rupees 170/= only (Rupees one hundred seventy only) per cubic metre in all circumstances shall be effected on pro rata basis. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Earth work in excavation for structure as per drawing and technical specification clause 305.1( three hundred five point one) including setting out, costruction of shoring and bracing,removal of stumps and other deleterious material and dressing of sides and bottam and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable material.

Providing and laying Cement concrete 1:4:8 ( one cement : four sand : eight graded stone aggregate forty millimeter nominal size)for plain/ reinforced concrete work in open foundation complete as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 802,803,1202& 1203. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and including all incidental charges.

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundation complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 802,803,1202 & 1203. P.C.C. M-10 grade (1:3:6) ( For Sub Structure) as per direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and including all incidental charges.

Back filling behind abutment ,wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and technical specificaition clause 1204.3.8 , (one thousand two hundred four point three point eight )Granular material.as per direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and including all incidental charges.

Providing weepholes in brick masonry/stone masonry/plain reinforced conrete abutment,wing wall, return wall with 100 mm dia. PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(v) : 20 (H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 614,709,1204.3.7. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and including all incidental charges.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1;2 but excluding excavation protection works backfilling concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets as per clause 1106.. Including carrige of material to various location thourgh all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and including all incidental charges to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing and laying flooring laid over cement concrete bedding complete as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1303Rubble stone laid in cement mortar 1:3 ( one cement three sand) including carrige of material to various location thourgh all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and including all incidental charges to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

C/O R.C.C railing of M 25 grade in cast-in-situ with 20mm (twenty milimetre )nominal size aggregate, true to line and grade, tolerance of vertical railing post not to esceed 1 in 500 ( one in five hundred ), centre to centre spacing between vertical posts not to exceed 2000 mm (two thousand milimetre )as per drawings and technical specifications clauses 800,900 and 1208.3. including carrige of material to various location thourgh all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and including all incidental charges to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Supplying , fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in superstructure completeas per drawing and technical specification clause 1002 ,1010 and 1202 including carrige of material to various location thourgh all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and including all incidental charges to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing drainage spout clause 1209. as per HP.PWD. Specification and direction of the Engineer-in Charge, including carriage of all labour equipments and material to various locations through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts all incidental charges to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing in position 20 mm (twenty milimetre )thick premoulded joint filler in expansion joint for fixed ends of simply supported spans not exceeding 10 m ( ten milimetre) to cater for a horizontal movement upto 20 mm (twenty milimetre ), covered with sealant complete as per HP.PWD. Specification and direction of the Engineer-in Charge, including carriage of all labour equipments and material to various locations through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts all incidental charges to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of sub grade by dressing to camber (Earth work for the cutting involved for sub-grade to be paid for separately depending upon the classification of soil completed as per HP.PWD. Specification and direction of the Engineer-in Charge, including carriage of all labour equipments and material to various locations through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts all incidental charges to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including making good the undulation etc. with earth or quarry soil etc. and rerolling the sub-grade completed as per HP.PWD. Specification and direction of the Engineer-in Charge, including carriage of all labour equipments and material to various locations through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts all incidental charges to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet the requirement of Table 300.2 with lead up to 1000 ( one thousand ) Clause 303.1 as per HP.PWD. Specification and direction of the Engineer-in Charge, including carriage of all labour equipments and material to various locations through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts all incidental charges to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of granular sub base by providing well graded matrial , spreading in uniform layers with tractor mount grader on prepared surface , mixing by mix in place method with ratovator at OMC, and compacting with three wheel 80-100 kn static roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401 as per HP.PWD. Specification and direction of the Engineer-in Charge, including carriage of all labour equipments and material to various locations through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts all incidental charges to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer (Pug Mill), carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub-base/base course on a well prepared sub-base and compacting with smooth wheel roller of 80 to 100kN weight to achieve the desired density including lighting, barricading and maintenance of diversion, etc as per Tables 400.11 & 400.12 and Technical Specification Clause 406.

Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion (SS-I) grade on the prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer @ 0.70-1.00 kg / sqm using mechanical means as per technical specification clause 502.as per HP.PWD. Specification and direction of the Engineer-in Charge, including carriage of all labour equipments and material to various locations through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts all incidental charges to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion ( RS-1) using emulsion distributor @ 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer and cleaned with hydraulic broom as per Technical specification Clause 503 as per HP.PWD. Specification and direction of the Engineer-in Charge, including carriage of all labour equipments and material to various locations through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts all incidental charges to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying bituminous concrete VG - 10 with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4 to 5.6 per cent of mix and filler as per Job mix formula, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 509 complete in all respects.

Providing and fixing of semi reflective cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign board as per IRC:67 made of 1.5 mm (fifteen milimetre )thick MS Sheet duly stove white colour in front and gray colour on back with red reflective border of 65 mm (sixty five milimetre )width and required letters and figures with reflective tape engineering grade as per Clause 1701.3.9 of MORD for Rural Roads of required shade and colour supported and welded on 47mm x 47 mm x 12 (forty seven into forty seven into twelve milimetre )SWG sheet tube firmly fixed to the ground by mean of properly designed foundations with M-15 grade cement concrete 450x450x600 mm (four hundred fifty into four hundred fifty into six hundred milimetre ), 600 mm ( six hundred milimetre ) below ground level as per approved drawing Clause 1701.2.2 traffic sign 600mm ( six hundred milimetre ) equilateral triangle.

Providing and fixing of typical informatory sign board with logo as per MORD specifications and drawing.Three MS plates of 1.6mm thick,top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5mm size on back on edges.The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x 5mm.the angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. 75mm x 75mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M15 grade blocks of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm,(four hundred fifty into four hundred fifty into six hundred milimetre ), 600 mm ( six hundred milimetre ) below ground level.the top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm of 12 ( forty seven milimetre into forty seven milimetre into twelve) SWG steel plate tube.All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides.Lettering and printing arrows,border etc.will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour.All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1 including hauling of material in all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer in Charge.

Boulder apron laid in wire crates (Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates made with 4mm (four milimetre )dia GI wire conforming to IS: 280 & IS:4826 in 100mm x 100mm (one hundred into one hundred milimetre )mesh (weaved diagonally) including 10% extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg (twenty five kilogram )each as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 1301 complete including carrige of material in all leads , lifts to various location thourgh all modes of transporation and including all incidentals charges. including hauling of material in all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer in Charge.

Providing and laying hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5mm (two point five milimetre ) thick including reflectorising glass beads @250gms (two hundred fifty grams) Area thickness of 2.5mm (two point five milimetre ) is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC.as per HP.PWD.
