The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and levelling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of atleast 98% of the Maximum Dry Density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 50 mm thick premixed bituminous macadam consolidated/ compacted thickness to required gradient and camber using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with 4% binder (paving bitumen VG-30 grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted using 8 to 10 tonnes power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Bituminous macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content is used in the execution of work under this item as per approved mix design.
M & L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen at 5 kg per 10 sq metre surface complete all as specified and as directed .
M&L for providing 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) with 5.50% paving bitumen (VG-30) binder content by weight to total mix with mechanical paver using, mixed in hot mix plant, rolled and compacted and well rolled and consolidated with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to reqd gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

PQC laid, spread and compacted with slip-form paver of minimum 7.50 m width, including curing and tining by Texturing cum Curing machine complete all as specified and directed. Required surface texturing to be done as specified in clause 10.1.14 and Table 9 of IRC 15-2017.

M & L for forming of dummy/contraction joint with an initial saw cut of 3 mm soon after the concrete has set, upto a depth of 1/3rd to 1/4th the thickness of the slab, widening the first saw cut to 6mm and 24mm deep by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 8 mm dia, application of bond breaker tape on top of backup rod for complete width of the joint and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS-4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee, applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Primer to be used before filling sealant. (ii) Edges shall be levelled and joints cut within 24 hours using diamond bit cutters of Bosch or equivalent used for cutting green concrete.
M & L for forming 25 mm width Expansion joint in concrete slab for full depth of PQC. Early entry saw and subsequent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. (C) CONTROL PANEL :- The Control Panel shall be manufactured with 14/16 guage CRCA sheet duly powder coated for a weather proof and long lasting finish. The Control Panel shall consist the following parts :- (i) PSO 500 Controller :- Aluminium Bas Bars with suitable capacity with incomming/ outgoing terminals - Indicating Lamps for "Load On" and "Set Running" - MCCB of suitable rating with overload and short circuit protections. (ii) PS O500: Genset Controller :- Control microprocessor based Generator set monitoring and control system. The control shall provide a simple operator interface to the Gererator set, manual and remote start / stop control, shutdown fauit indication and an LCD hour counter. The integration of all function into a single control system provides enhanced reliabity periormance compared to conventional generater set control system. The control shall be designed and tested to meet harsh environment in which gensets are typically applied.
(vii) Engine Control :- (a) Powerstart operates on 12 Volts DC Batteries (b) Auto start mode accepts a ground signal from remote devices to automatically start the DG set. M & L for Earthing with Galvanised iron earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6.00 mm thick buried vertically in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 m below ground level, connected to and including GI earth strip of size 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts and check nuts and washers of galvanised steel with and including 40 mm dia GI medium grade pipe for protection of GI strip to the extent of 7.5 metres as earthing lead including charcoal dust and salt packed all around the earth plate in the earth pit all as per Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part I (2009) including PCC foundation / chamber in mix 1:2:4 type B1 with M.S. angle iron frame, C.I. (for controller unit)
Supply ,fabrication, installation and testing of LT Panel factory made, TypeTest Assemble (TTA) Panel for working on 3 phase, 4 wire, 415 Volts, AC, 50Hz, cubical, out door type, weather proof, water proof, dust proof, vermin proof, shock proof protection made out thermoplastic polycoarbonate of suiitable size accommodate accessories/ fittings with front and back double door opening/ lockable by the key from both side and provn of suitable bus bar chamber and switch gear compartments for MCCB incoming & out going feeders etc with copper extension links of suitable curent carrying capacitty not less than 1.5 times the rated current carrying capacity of MCCB individual feeder supported on DMC /Epoxy insulator including provison for termination with incoming and out going cables with cable glands. LT Panel shall be mounted on 50 x 50 x 6 mm size MS angle iron frame duly painted with two coats of black bituminus paint over a coat of red oxide primer including PCC foundation of suitable size with PCC 1:2:4 type B1(using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) . M & L for maintenance free Chemical earthing of technology 3 mtr long 17.20 mm dia with 250-micron Copper coating and UL listed. There should be terminal for connection of 150 x 50 x 6 mm with 4 holes of 12 mm dia along with 2 bags of 25 Kgs each of earth enhancing compound. The chemical compound should be tested and certified by any NABL accredited laboratory with 95 percent carbon content. The testing laboratory should be an ISO 9001 and 14001 certified. The earth enhancing compound should be IEC 62321. The ph value of compound should be 7-8. Electrode should be duly tested and certified by CPRI, Govt of India for a min short circuit current of 25 kA rms for 1 Sec. including necessary boring of suitable dia upto required depth in any type of soil for inserting copper rod and filling of chemicals and Poly plastic pit cover of material- polymer body & cover dimensions- 308 mm (L) x 308 mm (W) x 214 mm (H) bearing capacity 7.5 Ton approved from NABL approved Lab complete all as specified and as directed.
Note:- (i) Earthing is to be done infront of the Engr-in-Charge. (ii) Test Results of earthing to be submitted by the contractor for all earthings. (iii) The Contractor shall have to give written guarantee for maintenance earth resistance of less than 1.0 Ohm for the period of 10 9ten) years after certified date of completion and shall be deposited 2000/- per earthing as security deposit for a period of Ten (10) Years. (iv) Failing to maintain resistance of earthing less than 01.0 ohm , new earthing to be provided by the contractor with out any extra cost. (v) Necessary earth work, excavation shall be carried out in any type of soil strata, retuning, filling in and making good surronding area complete.

Material and labour for GPS survey by qualified and expienced surveyor team (Approximate for 5 days) of airfield lighting system for recoding of coordinate, level and numbering of all existing airfield light fitting and submit the detailed layout plan before taking out the light fittings complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for GPS survey by qualified and expienced surveyor team (Approximate for 25 days) of airfield lighting system for recoding of coordinate, level and numbering to ensure refixing of old light / fixing of new light fitting on its original location / new location as direted and submit the detailed layout plan after installation of complete airfield light fittings complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Surveyor team shall be present all time during the installation of air field light fittings.
Taking out the following runway lights with isolation transformer & CI Box etc from existing location carefully and deposited to CCR Panel Store Room of AF station Jodhpur for re-use and record GPS marking, complete all as specified and directed.

Note :- (i) Core cutting for levated lights will be measured and paid separately. (ii) Extg old serviceable runway lights with Isolation Transformer & all related crossing boxes, CI Boxes and shallow can boxes deposited in store room as per item 102 above will be issued by AF authority.

Laying/ fixing/ conneting of primary/ secondary connector kits of any specification/ rating in trench/ in ducts/ in conduits complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Connector Kits will be issued by Air Force authority for laying only.
M & L for fixing of 12" dia shallow-can including inner core cutting of size 100mm dia and depth upto 300 mm and outer core cutting upto 350mm dia and upto 150mm depth by using machines/ tools of runway surface including proper filling of suitable sealent material as required for fixing of inset light assembly, and making good & match with existing surface strata and strength complete all as specified and directed. (For fixing of elevated AFL light fittings)
M & L for making Groove with diamond cutter blade machine of width 70 mm and depth upto 300mm in Bitumious /Concrete/NLB/Soil for laying of GI pipe, and carefully removing old existing material by means of chieselling/ demolition including disposal of rubbish material to a distance not exceeding 5KM , cleaning with blower ,priming epoxy resin primer/VG-10 at the rate of 0.34 kg/sqm applied by sprayer or brush and pipe should be plugged on both side with End cap including pulling rope. GI pipe shall be laid in groove and balance portion filled with Dense Asphaltic Concrete Gd -I/Existing Material duly compacted well using proper compaction tools as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : GI pipe shall be measured separatetly under appropriate item.
M&L for horizontal boring of holes for insertion of 50 mm dia HDPE pipe by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine/ tools at depth not exceeding 3.0 meter for laying of OFC cable, and ensuring protection of existing cables / pipes etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- HDPE pipe 50 mm dia will be measured and paid separately under appropriate item.
Supply & lay HDPE pipe of size 50 mm dia for protection of AFL secondary cable and OFC cable complete all as specified and directed..
Supply & lay GI pipe heavy grade of size 40 mm dia laid into runway from edge to centre light for protection of secondary cable complete all as specified and directed..
S & F earth continually conductor or main earth lead 4 mm GI wire fixed to poles,panel board or any other indicated situation of loop earthing etc as required complete all as specified and directed..
Material and labour PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for foundation of taxi light /runway edge light etc complete all as specified and directed.
M & L for Bolts, nuts and washers made out of stainless steel complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for Photomatic Test of all AFL light / inset lights after installation of lights using photomatic machine complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Test report shall be submitted on completion)
Supply and laying of safety tape /caution tape having width 100mm and thickness 250 micron having printed the word "5 KV AFL cable" laid into trenches over the AFL cable and below 300 mm from top level of ground complete all as directed. (Material shall be brought at site after approval of sample and make.)
M & L for removal of existing polysulphide from groove for dismantling of secondary cable complete as directed.
M & L for filling of polyethiline / polysulphide including suitable primer on wall surface in groove of size upto 12mm wide and depth upto 12mm including bocker rod of suitable size after laying of secondary cable complete all as directed.
M & L for filling of polyethiline / polysulphide including suitable primer on wall surface in groove of size upto 25mm wide and depth upto 12mm including bocker rod of suitable size after laying of secondary cable complete all as directed.
Note for airfield lighting system works:- (i) Complete works shall be executed by OEM i.e Vardhman airport solution Pvt Ltd., AMA Pvt Ltd (AMA Airfield Lighting), YPR Engineering and solutions Pvt. Ltd. (ii) Bidders/ contractor shall submit the agreement with any one of above said OEM/ company from whom contractor will execute the Air field lightening system work, during quoting the tender.
NOTE : Amount of credit of Rs. 1,33,52,769.00 for retrieved materials is mentioned in schedule of credit on Srl Page No. 64 of tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted offline while acceptance of tender.
