NOTES/INSTRUCTIONS FOR STRICT COMPLIANCE (a) The contractor shall obtain sample approval for all materials for incorporating in the work as per condition 10 of IAFW-2249 and Para-12 of Special Conditions of tender document mentioned here-in-after. (b) The GE may direct the contractor in writing to procure and deposit up to 80% of the material required for the complete scope of work. The decision shall be final and binding on the contractor. (c) The contractor shall deposit the procured material under intimation to GE to the store of concerned subdivision within 30 days from the receipt of written direction. Failure to do so shall result in a penal recovery of Rs 2000/- per week, levied on the dues of contractor, maximum up to 10% of the work done/CA Amount whichever is higher. (d) The contractor shall obtain approval of “Qualified Tradesman” as per condition 26 of IAFW-2249 before commencement of work at site and shall have sufficient manpower such as plumber, welder, helper etc readily available to meet the site requirement during emergency situation as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge/GE.

NOTES(Contd---) (e)The breakdown/Leakeges should be attended well within time mentioned here-in-after from the time of intimation (through Verbal/Site Order/Written) by the Engineer-in-Charge/GE, failing which a penal recovery of Rs 500/- per hour shall be deducted from contractors dues: Size of Pipe Time limit to attend Breakdown & Completion Upto 50mm 6 Hrs 50mm-100mm 8 Hrs More than 100mm 12 Hrs (f) The quoted rates shall be inclusive of cost of necessary Tools, Plants, Safety Equipments, Machinery, Arrangements of Manual Dewatering/Dewatering pumps and Temporary lighting arrangements for work during night time etc as per site requirement. Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm graded granite stone aggregate) in foundation, filling and mass concrete including demolition of old one, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of corrugated or semi corrugated Asbestos cement sheets / Galvalume sheets in roof covering, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 0.50 mm thick pre-painted corrugated/’Z’ profile galvalume roofing sheets as in roofing (in any location and any type) having high strength steel with minimum 550 Mpa strength hot dip coated with aluminium zinc alloy (55% aluminium and 45% zinc) pre-painted with primer coat of 5 micron and coated with Silicon modified polyester coating of 20 micron and alkalyed coating of 10 micron on reverse side. End rib, side over lap and over lap of sheets shall be designed for anti capillary activities to avoid any seepage of water through lateral overlap as per manufacturer’s instructions, including fixing with self drilling and self tapping screws 0.5mm dia full threaded, all Kautex coated and fitted with EPDM washers in stainless steel. The screws shall be coated with anti-corrosive substance to ensure longer life and shall be fixed using drill guns for lead proof installation, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for cablofil hot dip galvanized cable trays, top cover, wall supports and jointing / fixing accessories for fixing over walls complete, size 54mm (Height) x 100mm (Width), complete all as specified and as directed.

SCHEDULE OF CREDIT Note :- Amount of Rs. 1,38,115.00 indicated in Tender Documents as Schedule of Credit shall be deducted from the total quoted amount of BOQ.
