Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Conditional tenders will be rejected.

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs.

The tender processing fee will neither be refunded nor will be transferred to other works.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of https://kppp.karnataka.gov.in /e-portal/index due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

The CNNL reserves the right of rejecting any or all of the tenders without assigning any reason and will not be bound to accept the lowest tender.

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Government orders.a.The rates quoted by the contractor Shall be Exclusive of GST and GST shall be paid separately.The contractor is required to pay quarry Fees, Royalties, Octroi Dues levied by the state Government or any Local body or an authority and ground rent, if any, charged by the Executive Engineer for stacking materials. No Extra payment on this account will be made to the contractor.

Contractor has to make his own arrangement for procurement of all materials required for the work. There is no departmental supply of materials. Contractor should procure only ISI mark materials and submit necessary quality control certificates from the authorised quality control authority, before execution

All scanned documents to be uploaded shall be in original and the Executive Engineer, VC Division, Mandya reserves the right to verify the documents before approval.

If any of the dates mentioned above happens to be General Holiday, the next working day will hold good in lieu of the date mentioned.

The work includes all lead and lift and work shall be carried out as per the instructions of the Engineer-in-Charge of the work.

One percent (1%) of the bill amount of the successful tenderer will be deducted towards the construction labour welfare fund as per Government Order LD / 300 / LET / 2006 Bangalore dated 18-01-2007 and Government letter No. PW / 134 / BMS / 2007 dated 27-07-2007.

Further details and information, if any, required can be had from the Office of the Executive Engineer, VC Division, Mandya, Karnataka, on all working days during office hours.

The work includes all lead and lifts and work shall be carried out as per instructions of Engineer in charge of the work. And all the specifications as per Indian Road Congress and relevant Indian codes. The rate for the specifications in the Schedule B includes all lead and lifts irrespective of distance and height, no extra charges will be paid for additional lead and lifts.

The authority competent to accept the tender shall have the right of rejecting all or any of the tenders without assigning any reasons and will not be bound to accept the lowest tender

Detailed Specification for the item of work separately attached

If the rate(s) quoted by Tenderer for any item(s) of work is/are below the estimated rates of the department then the contractor shall furnish an additional performance security in the form of demand draft/pay order/specify small savings instruments pledged to........... for an amount equivalent to the difference between the cost as per quoted rate and the estimated rates. The additional performance security furnished in the former case would be released if requested for by the contractor as and when the concerned item/items is/are satisfactorily and fully completed and are so certified by the next Superior officer of tender inviting authority.

The rates quoted by the contractor must be inclusive of all taxes etc(Excluding applicable GST)

The valid copy of GST Registration Certificate along with latest GST paid challan should be uploaded.

Within 20 days of receipt of the letter of acceptance, the successful tenderer shall deliver to the employer a security deposit in any of the forms given below for an amount equivalent to 5% of the contract price and the difference amount for unbalanced tenders as additional performance security.

Contractor should follow strictly prevailing rules of Labour Act

The intending contractors are requested to note that they should abide by the detailed instructions and conditions contained in the Standard Bid Document.

Copy of Income Tax returns filed for the year 2021-22 to 2025-26 is to be furnished.

The intending bidder should furnish the certificate of KPWD Class-IV and above.

Eligible Tenderers will be qualified only if their available tender capacity is more than the total tender value. The available tender capacity will be calculated as under Assessed available tender capacity (AxNx5.0- B) where A Maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years(updated to 2026-27 price level) taking into account the completed as well as works in progress.N Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which Tenders are invited.B Value, at 2026-27 price level, of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the next. Years The intending bidder should furnish the certificate of registration issued by Class IV and above of PWD any State/Central/ Public Sector Organizations.

Security deposit for an amount equivalent to 5% of the contract price shall be deducted in every running bill. However, in case of first and final bill the entire security deposit will be deducted from the final bill price.
