DESIGN AND BUILD CONTRACT FOR THE RE-CONSTRUCTION OF BRIDGE INSUBASH CHANDRA BOSE ROAD ACROSS CHILAVANOOR CANAL

Construction of new Road Bridge including pile foundations, substructure works , superstructure works including supply, fabrication / casting, transportation, launching / erection, including initial and routine pile load tests, pile integrity tests and other required tests, approach road works, drainage works, and other ancillary works as per the approved / vetted design drawings and approved QHSE plan in accordance with IRC Codes and any other incidental / site specific works as required with all leads, lifts etc complete as per the directions of Engineer in charge and as per the Detailed Scope of work and Technical specifications of Tender documents. The work also include all Survey Works including Geo-technical Investigation, Topographic Survey, Pre and Post Bathymetry Survey, submission of Concept Designs for KMRL approval, preparation of detailed design drawings and Design Report including vetting by proof consultant of KMRL, submission of Good For Construction Drawings for KIIFB approval, other necessary investigations required if any, etc complete as per the direction of Engineer in Charge and as per the Detailed Scope of work and Technical specifications and design and drawing specifications of the Tender documents. The work also consists of Site Clearance Works including demolition / dismantling of existing bridge structure up to 1m below the proposed bed level of the canal, including existing abutments, approach road, streetscape works, tree cutting, shore protection works, including deepening, widening and dredging of existing canal to the proposed bed level, transportation and disposal of excavated earth/dredged material at Brahmapuram, stacking of serviceable materials, necessary barricading works traffic diversion management etc complete as directed by Engineer and as per Detailed Scope of Work and Specifications of the Tender Documents. The work also consists of supply, laying, erection, shifting / modification, testing and commissioning of HT / LT equipment , cables and lines etc. complete as part of KSEB Utility Shifting and as directed by Engineer and as per Detailed Scope of Work and Technical Specifications of the Tender Documents

Construction of temporary crossing structure for pedestrian / two wheeler movement during the entire execution period etc complete as directed by Engineer and as per Detailed Scope of Work and Specifications of the Tender Documents.
