Supply , laying , jointing & testing of HT underground cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured,electric power cables (heavyduty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts Earthed, with stranded compact aluminium conductor 11000 volts grade 95 sq mm 3 core confirming to IS:7098 (Part-II) with latest amendements, suitable for earthed system laid in duct/trench/along pole etc including making connection complete all as specified and directed.
Excavation in trenches in hard / dense soil n.exc. 1.5 mtr wide and n.exc 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of cables complete all as specified & directed.
Excavation in trenches n. exc. 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of underground cable and getting out in soft/ disintegrated rock complete all as specified and directed.
Returning, filling in, any type of soil and spreading in layers n. exc 25cm thick each layer including watering & well ramming complete all as specified & directed.

Supply,installing,commissioning and testing of LT feeder pillar outdoor type front and rear openable of dimension as per specified by manufacturer ,CPRI certified factory made cubical type weather and vermin proof fixed on and including ventilation and louvers arrangement with angle iron frame of size 50mm x 50mm x 6mm, pedastial type and provided with four Nos of angle iron supports duly embedded in foundation by PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate and as directed at site fabricated out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA steel sheet including duly painted powder coated and keeping adequate working space inside of the box and double door handle including front mounted cabinet, rod operated locking arrangement wih keys & countersunk holes at bottom for base mounting brackets and sheet steel gland plates for cable entry, formed gasket arround doors as directed before manufacturing the panel including Bus bar of following capacity and type with stainless steel nut bolts washers and spares holes with nut bolts on each bus bar and duly covered with shrinkable PVC sleeves as per colour coding ie Red, Yellow, Blue and Black & mounted on DMC / epoxy insulator and making connection of cables with appropriate size of lugs and cable glands and also two No danger Notice plate fixed on panel complete all as specified and directed.(NOTE:-LT Feedar Pillar panel should be as per IS specifications & CPRI Test certified)
Cleaning and preparation of old painted surface of LT/street light pole complete and painting with one coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer on street light brackets, and making Red & white strips with synthetic enamelled paint of 30 cm height, each alternative strip upto 1.5 mtr height and writing pole numbers with yellow synthetic enamelled paint after making circular base with black synthetic enamelled paint and applying two coats of white wash on PCC coping complete all as specified.
M&L for shifting of bracket and security /street light from existing location to desired location and height as per specified including opening and re- fixing the same all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of old unserviceable steel tubular Pole of any description /size complete all as specified and directed.
Supply, Installation, testing, and commissioning of 11 KV Extensible Outdoor duty (IP54 enclosure) SF6 gas insulated 3-way motor operated Ring Main Unit comprising of 2nos. 630Amps Load Break Switches and 1no. 630Amps Vacuum Circuit Breaker, cable termination from the front, breaking capacity 21KA/3sec (Internal Arc Classification ALF-R 21kA-1sec both for tank and cable box as per IEC IEC 62271-200), enclosed in robotically welded stainless steel tank having IP67 Degree of Protection, leak rate of SF6 gas less than 0.1% and tested as per IEC 60056/60694/60298. The switchgear shall accommodate all the 3 modules in one tank. Protection CTs should be ring core type. Cable bushings should be replacable at site complete all as specified and directed.
NOTE:- Others details:- System Particulars: (1)Nominal System Voltage : 11kV. (2) Voltage variation on supply side : +-10 % (3) Corresponding Highest System Voltage: 12kV. (8) Fault level (minimum) kA /Sec : 21/3). 9) Lightning Impulse Withstand Voltage (kVp) : 75 (10) One minute dry/wet power frequency withstand voltage primary (kV rms) : 28KV (11) Rated Dynamic Withstand Current for 1 second duration (kAp) : 52.5KA Applicable Standards: a) The design, manufacture and performance of the Ring Main Units shall comply with all currently applicable statutes, regulations and safety codes.Nothing in this specification shall be construed to relieve the bidder off his responsibilities. b) Unless otherwise specified, the Ring Main Units offered shall conform to the latest applicable, IEC 62271-100, IEC 62271-200. All live parts, bus bars, shall preferably be enclosed in one tank to avoid multiple inter connections & sealed for life robotically welded non magnetic and non ferrite grade stainless steel tank Grade SS304 of minimum 2.5 mm thickness.The RMU shall be type tested for internal arc test of 21KA/1 sec AFLR as per IEC62271-200. The outer enclosure shall cover the full length of the switch gear, to ensure IP54 protection for full door covering of complete switchgear. The protection relay shall be for 3 OC + 1EF (IDMT Type) , MODBUS communication along with RS 485 Port .
RMU and Vaccum Interruptor shall be of same make. All the mechanical bushings should be replacable at site, to avoid dismantling RMU from site and carrying to OEM factory for rectification for the minor gas leakages from mechanical bushing, this is operational & maintenane point, cannot be deviated. No additional plate/ accessories to be add to achieve Internal Arc of the Cable of 21kA-1sec, in the able box camber. RMUs should be manufactured, inspected and invoiced from the OEM factory only; no licensee partner manufactered RMU is exceptable. SERVICE CONDITIONS (a) The SF6 gas filled 11 kV, 630 Amps, non-extensible type, Outdoor, SCADA compatible Motorized Ring Main Unit with Vacuum Circuit Breaker to be supplied against this specification shall be suitable for satisfactory continuous operation under the following tropical conditions, design ambient temperat+A1ure (Degree C) 40 as per IEC.
The unit shall include the following with all necessary standard fitting as required at site:
a) Vacuum Circuit Breaker 12kV 630Amps 21kA-3sec and fault making type Earthing Switch with micro-processor based selfpowered 3O/C + 1E/F relay fitted with fixed type voltage indicator device as per IEC 61958. Protection CTs suitable ratio 2.5VA burden (CT ratio shall be confirmed at time of drawing approval).-1No.
b) Load Break Switch 12kV 630Amps 21kA-3sec with copper bus Bar and earth switch fitted with fixed type voltage indicator device as per IEC -2 Nos.
Note: Standard mano meter -01 for each tank, Operating handle - 01, cable clamping provision (standard)-01 / for every cable entry suitable for 1RX3C cable upto 300Sqmm, Operation and maintenance manual - 01, RMU Foundation (Earth Work and PCC works) for placing RMU on plinth is deemed to be included in the cost quoted. Height of plinth should not be less than 0.5 mtrs from ground level.
Supply,installing,commissioning and testing of cable fault locating instruments suitable to locate the pin point in LT/HT cable 1100 V to 33 KV cable and route tracing instruments to trace the route of burried cable including the eqpts shall be suitable for testing and pin pointing conductor and insulation fault of low and high resistance, intermittent or flashing nature in PILC, PVC and XLPE Low tension & High tension , under ground power cables up to 33 KV . The cable testing and fault locating kit shall be consist of following equipments:
(a) Digital Fault locator - Pre location of faults in cables shall be carried out using various fault location method built in the eqpts with the help of highly sophisticated menu driven microprocessor based digital fault locator. The eqpt should have fully menu- guided , Display should be colour LCD , Operation up to 6 hrs in battery mode and supported with pulse Echo method and Implse current method .
(b) Surge Generator : The surge generator shall be capable of providing repetitive surges at voltage variable from zero to the violtage mentioned below with output of 1000J (Optionally 2000J). An interlock to be provided which which ensures that instrument can switched on , only if the special cable supplied has been connected to the output sockets. The unit should be provided with automatic dischage device. Tech data of surge Generator- Output Voltage: 0-32 KV continously variable Surge capacity - 1000 J (optional 2000j) with Internal mounted capacitors Timer - 10 pulses per mmin , 20 pulses per min for automatic surging features for DC pressure testing unit: Continously adjustable output voltage, HV Zero interlock , S/c protection by internal current limitattion , Voltage indication up to 32 KV , Discharge Device , Thermal over current switch off
Filter unit : A suitable coupling unit to enable fault location as per pulse echo method and impulse current method should be provided. The unit should incorporate discharge device so that high voltage leads are discharged after appx 3 sec , after switching off the main instrument. The activation of the grounding unit should be acknowledged audibly . The dischage device should be activated automatically in -case of power breakdown or an interruption.
Pin - pointing set : The pin-pointing set is to be used in conjuction wiith above surge generator and should be capable of pin -pointing acoustic disturbances created by the dissipation of energy from surge generator at the the fault. Seismic disturbances picked up should be indicated to the operator both audibly on the head phone and visually on a display meter . The unit should be able to measuresacoustic propagation time wherein time difference between magnetic and acoustic pulse can be measured and evaluated. Insrument offfered should also incorporate a magnetic detector with separate amplifier . This should pick up and display caused by each current impluses . The receiver should be light weight with integrated batteries. The unit should switch off automatically in-case odf disconnection from ground microphone. The unit shpould be provided with suitable ground microphone whhich can filter out noises for accurate fault pin-pointing. sheath fault location with two earth probes according to the step voltage method should also be possible The eqpt should have following features:- (i) Integrated loudspeaker (ii) Water resistant design (iii) Large illuminated LCD display (iv) Adjustable filter to optimise acoustic signakl (v) Accurate route tracing (vi) Light weight (vii) Acoustic pin-pointing ccombined with propagation time measurement (viii) Route tracing (ix) Depth determination

Cables All cables reqd for operation of cable testing system shall be mounted on drums with take out facility. The cable drum should be proided with screw terminal for protective earth cconnection with a monitoring switch so that putting in tgo operatioin of the sdystem is only possible when the protective earth lead is conected on the system side. The particulars of cables required are indicated belows: Earthing Cable : 25 M earthing cable 16 sq mm multistranded flexible copper with rubberised insulation to connect. Power supply cable : 25 m three core cable for connection of equipment to mains ( max 16 A) HV cable: 25 m , co-axial HV cable to serve as connection between cable fault locator and the cable to be tested. The ross section of core andshied should be 6 sq mm . The lead should be suitable for an operating voltage up to 70 KV DC . EPR insulation should be used , so that cable can remain flexible even in extreme cold condition. Contd.....
Mounting The eqpt should be mounted on zink coated suitable base frame wheels so that eqpt can be easily transported in a vehicle, and once inserted in a vehicle it can be locked safe for transport. Complete eqpt should be provided as a single system. Safety measures The instrument should have a built -in automatic discharge feature as per which a cable (installatiion) has to be safely discharge after a high voltage set. An emergency button on surge generato shall be provided to disconnect all equipments. All equipments shall be discharge on supply failure or disconnection of the unit. Make - CSD Instruments , Megger, Techno, Telemetrics. Note : The contractor will train two persons which has to be nominated by GE/ Engr-in-charge about all functions of fault locator machine and one person should be deployed at their ends to attend any problems which occurs in machine, and the individual will be present in office/site within days after intimation from office till six month after completion of work.
Note : Tenderers may note that amount of credit Rs 5,49,740.00 will be deducted from the total amount arrived, at the time of Acceptance of contract.
