Operation & network of 150 KM maintenance of Water Supply Scheme alongwith 2.1 MLD water treatment plant as whole including Pumping Machinery (working and Stand bye Pumping machinery), Rising Mains and Gravity mains in a length of 56.17 K.M including existing Pipe Network, 1 No Trench Weir, 3 Nos Tube Wells, 1 No Infilteration Gallery, 6 Nos Pump house, 17 Nos Under Ground Storage Reservoirs & 2 Nos Over Head Storage Reservoir, Gaseuos chlorination system including Yard light, at various sites complete in all respect in proper working condition for a period of 5 years. O&M includes the regular i.e. daily supplying of designed/required quantity of potable water having water quality as per CPHEEO manual of water supply to the beneficiaries of the scheme upto main storage /delivery tank from above mentioned sources main & sector over Head Storage tanks upto consumer and at different locations as per plan and repair & maintenance of Main lines, Gravity lines and entire distribution system along with maintenance of automised system of scheme. Regular maintenance of all the facilities including cleaning / washing,white washing/ painting after one years, oil and greasing repairs, replacement of worn out/damaged parts of pumping machinery, pipe line, valves and electrical, Mechanical equipments, regular cleaning of all structure like Storage tanks,collection/distribution chambers, pump house etc and disposal of same as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge, fixing/repairing leakage in civil structures, channels, pipe lines, pumping machinery etc. proper disinfection of treated water and regular testing of water samples at required stages of treatment and lift, keeping regular and proper record of water quantity and quality, time and hour of run of pumping machinery, repair and maintenance of all works,removal of all kind of slips, slush, up rooting of unwanted grass, shrubs, weeds etc. growing near the structures and keeping the area neat and clean to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, planting and maintaining plants/flowers/trees around the pump house , Over Head storage tanks/ Tube well etc. as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including the cost of procurement of adequate and proper tools and plants, skilled and unskilled manpower, spare parts, oil/grease/lubricants, chemicals (Except bleaching powder) instruments, equipments, stationery and any other material etc. required for O&M excluding the cost of energy charges. All the operation shall be carried out as per the CPHEEO manual on water supply and treatment (latest addition) HP PWD/IPH specification, HP & IPH departmental norms, directions issued by Engineer-in-Charge from time to time and sound Engineering practice. The Running operation and maintenance repair of gaseous chlorination plant complete in all respect having chlorinator capable to deliver 0-2500gm/hr of chlorine gas along with 2 set of 1W + 1S Booster pump. it shall also consist of chlorine gas cylinder 100Kg capacity duly approved by CCE Nagpur and filled with clorine gas each along with clorine analyzer to indicate chlorine contant level in the chlorinated water supply complete in all respect at 3 station/ Tank. The chlorine gas shall be provided by the contractor itself .The firm / contaractor will be responsible for collection of water Tarrif from consumers as per the norms of HPIPH Department complete in all respect with in all leads and lifts. The operation and miaintenance of whole scheme shall be for 5 years.

The water consumption billing and distribution shall be carried out by the firm by using Electronic point of sale machine (EPOS )/ Spot Billing Machine ( SBM). The EPOS/ SBM shall be supplied by the department. For monitoring, standard format for returns/ performas regarding billing shall be supplied by the department and same has to be submitted to the department by the firm as per the schedule laid down in the format. Billing Cycle will be quarterly.
