TERM CONTRACT FOR ARTIFICERS WORK AT DHQ-15 AT OKHA UNDER GE (I) CG PORBANDAR

To perform under term contract such works on the terms and conditions and MES standard schedule of rates 2020 Part-II together with errata/amendments as applicable and upon the conditions contained in tender documents, as may be demanded and as are enumerated in the aforesaid standard schedule of rates during the period of one year from the date of acceptance at the rates contained in the aforesaid MES standard schedule of rates. AND At such other rates as may be fixed under the provisions of condition 62 and further agree to refer all disputes as required by the condition 70 of IAFW-2249 to the sole Arbitrator of a serving officer having degree in Engineering or equivalent or having passed final/direct final examination of Sub Division Building and Quantity Surveying of Institution of Surveyor (India) recognized by Govt. of India to be appointed by Chief Engineer (Coast Guard) Goa or in his absence the Officer Officiating as Chief Engineer (Coast Guard) Goa whose decision shall be final, conclusive and binding. Notes:- (i) The work order for various works/services shall be placed for amount worked out/price on the rates contained in MES SSR 2020 Part-II duly adjusted by percentage rate quoted by the Bidder. (ii) Total estimate of any single work, job or services as defined in condition 4A of IAFW-2249 shall not exceed 1,50,000.00. Contractor special attention is invited to condition 4(A) WORKS TO BE CARRIED OUT (APPLICABLE ONLY TO TERM CONTRACTS) and condition 56 TERMINATION OF CONTRACTS (APPLICABLE ONLY TO TERM CONTRACTS) of IAFW-2249 General Conditions of Contracts are strictly to be followed. (iii) It is an express condition of this contract that the amount to total works/services required to be done under this contract can vary to any extent irrespective of the amount worked out/mentioned in this BOQ sheet and contractor shall be bound to execute such works/services at the rates contained in MES SSR 2020 Part-II duly adjusted by quoted percentage rate during contract period. No claim of the contractor shall be entertained due to increase or decrease in quantum of work required to be done/work done. (iv) Srl No. 1.01 Column 05 of BOQ shows percentage above or below MES SSR 2020 Part-II. The acceptance of contract offer shall be done for percentage rate which is shown in this BOQ. The work order for various works/ services shall be placed for amount worked out/price on the rates contained in MES SSR 2020 Part-II duly adjusted by percentage rate quoted by the Bidder.
