Sub-Head : Earth Work

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including disposal of excavated earth, lead up to 50m and lift up to 1.5m, disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed.

All kinds of soil

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Sub-Head : Concrete Work

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)

Providing and laying in position plum concrete with hard stone boulders in retaining walls etc. upto all height and level, in required size and shape etc. with cement concrete of mix 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size ) using 40% plum / hard stone boulders of size 150mm to 300mm and curing complete excluding the cost of centring & shuttering all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain windowsills, fillets, sunken floor, etc., up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing :

1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for :

Retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses fillets, kerbs and steps etc.

Providing and fixing 110mm dia P.V.C. pipe (working pressure 4Kg./Sqcm.) conforming to IS : 13592 type-A in retaining walls for use as weep holes, laid to required slope complete as per the directions of the Engineer- in- charge.

Supplying & back filling with well graded stone boulders of size 150 mm to 300 mm behind retaining wall complete as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge. (Note :- 30% deductions in measurements shall be made for voids).

Sub Head- Steel Work

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required.

In stringers, treads, landings etc. of stair cases, including use of chequered plate wherever required, all complete.

Sub-Head : Finishing

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :

Two or more coats on new work.

Sub Head- Road Work

Providing and fixing G.I. chain link fabric fencing of required width in mesh size 50x50 mm including strengthening with 2 mm dia wire or nuts, bolts and washers as required complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Made of G.I. wire of dia 4 mm
