APP A- Supplying and erecting V/T pump set at intake Pump house

Supply, erection and commissioning of brand new VT pump set with the following specification.

1. Pump - Supply ,erection testing and commissioning of KWA pre-qualified reputed make water lubricated vertical turbine pumpset with Bronze/SS impeller, SS shaft with MS ERW column pipe of suitable diameter and length. The pumpset shall be suitable to be coupled with vertical hollow shaft motor. The duty condition of pumpset are: discharge -1390 lpm, Total head 110 meter, delivery size so as to suit the existing pumping main.

2. Motor - Supply, erection testing and commissioning of KWA pre-qualified reputed make ( speed of motor-1450 -1500 rpm) screen protected drip proof squirrel cage vertical hollow shaft induction motor suitable for operation at 415 volts 3 phase 50 Hz. AC supply for the above pumpset. The motor should confirm to EEFI/IS 325. Supply of suitable size best quality ISI marked PN 1.6 heavy duty cast iron double flanged sluice valve and reflex valve suitable for the above pumpset. Fabricating and connecting delivery pipe of required size with Y- connection and necessary joints made out of suitable size MS pipe in suitable length with required flanged joints and seating on supports as per site condition. Supply of of the motor is including providing suitable concrete foundation, cost of cement, sand and metal etc. complete. Flexible coupling shall be used for coupling of pumps and motors

3. Starter - Supply ,erection testing and commissioning of suitable rating (Fully automatic starter with air break contact for less than 100HP and for above 100HP FMCA starters to be used) starter suitable for the above motor with over voltage and under voltage protection, single face preventer, over load relay with motor protection relay with main contactor and bypass contactor as per IE rules and code of practice etc. complete

5. Cabling Work - Supply, laying, testing and commissioning of suitable size XLPE cables as per IS standards for the above pumpset from panel board to starter and from starter to to motor considering energy conservations

6. Earthing - Supply of al materials and providing suitable earthing by using suitable size pipe/plate earthing GI/Copper strip buried in ground and giving double earthing to motor, starter, panel board etc. as per IE standards with suitable cable and connecting the same to the earth pit provided as per IS 3043/ 87 and IE rules. and code of practice etc. complete

7. Capacitor - Supply ,erection testing and commissioning of heavy duty APP capacitor for the motor to get a power factor above 0.95. the capacitor shall confirm to IS 2834

8. Valves - Supply of suitable size best quality heavy duty ISI marked CI double flanged sluice valve with PN 1.6 and non return valve with Suitable pressure rating. Fitting of valves shall include proper RCC support especially for non return valves. In case of positive suction pump set sluice valve shuold be in suction as well as delivery sides for easy repair works.

9. Delivery pipe connection - Supply and fitting of suitable size delivery pipe of best quality MS of thickness not less than 10mm for length required at site and valves, specials etc. complete and connecting the delivery side of the pump with the pumping main.

Total Head = 110 m. Discharge =1390 m. RPM = 1450-1500 range.
