Loosening, Levelling and Compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150 mm, mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in Tables 300.1 and 300.2 for embankment construction as per Technical Specification Clause 301.4 and as per the entire satisfactions and directions of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rates excluding of Goods Services Tax but including Labour cess, other levies/taxes, duties /royalities, cess, Toll taxes of local bodies or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Construction of gravel/soil aggregate sub base/base by providing well graded material of nominal maximum size grading 80mm (eighty millimetre) as per table 2.3 of IRC SP 77-2008, spreading in uniforms layers with tractor mount appropriate grading arrangements on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method at OMC with tractor mount appropriate rotavator attachement and compaction with three wheel 80-100 KN static roller capacity to achieve the desired complete as per CPWD specifications 2019 contained in para 2.2, 3.6 and 3.7 of IRC SP-77-2008 and as per the direction of Engineer-in -Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM)specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads and lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paverfinisher in sub-base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 (eight) to 10 (ten) tonne capacity to achievethe desired density, complete as per CPWD specifications 2019 complete and direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials/machinery required to execute the work in all leads and lifts and other incidentials. Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface with hydraulic brooms and spraying primer with bitumen emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.85 kg (zero point eight five kilogram) per square metre of road surface as per MORTH technical specifications section 500 and as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion RS-I, including cleaning the road surface with hydraulic brooms and spraying with emulsion pressure distributor at the rate 0.275 kg (zero point two seven five kilogramme) per square meter on the prepared granular surface treated with primer complete as per MORTH technical specifications section 500, and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying 30mm (Thirty millimetre) compacted thick bituminous concrete with minimum 40-60 TPH (forty- sixty tonne per hour) hot mix batch type/drum type plant with electronic control Grading-II using crushed aggregate 13mm (Thirteen millimetre) nominal size of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder VG-30 (Viscosity Grade-thirty) @ (at the rate of) 5.50% (five decimal five zero percent) of mix weight transported to site, laid with censor paver finisher hydraulic with censor control to the required grade, level and alignment over a previously prepered surface and rolling complete with smooth wheeled roller 8-10 (Eight-Ten) tonne capacity for initial break down rolling and vibratory roller 8-10 (Eight-Ten) tonne capacity or pneumatic type roller of 12-15 (Twelve-fifteen Tonne) with tyre pressure of atleast 0.56mpa (Zero point five six ) for intermediate rolling and finish rolling with 6-8 (six-eight) tonne smooth wheeled tandom roller to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH technical specification section 500 and as per directions and entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads,lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.
