Scaling of loose rock including stacking of boulder at bottom of slope

1248.80 and disposal at dumping place within 1 km from the site as directed,

including all equipment, labor and excreta complete and as directed by SQMT 182.65

Engineer -In -Charge.

Providing and fixing rock fall protection system comprising of A) high

strength steel cable ring net with minimum cable diameter 7.5 mm and

ring sizes 250 mm dia, tensile strength of net 150 kN/m and breaking load

of ring or junction strength 75 kN, fixed by sufficient anchoring in rock as

per design; B) providing and fixing secondary chain link steel wire mesh up

of size 100mm to 120mm 2.7/3.7 mm (+/- 5mm) diameter steel wire with

Zn+PVC coating having tensile strength of 500 N/Sq. mm; C) providing and

fixing of boundary and intermediate support ropes 10 mm diameter of high

tensile steel wire rope grade 1770 N/Sq. mm with Zn coating for corrosion

resistance; D) Providing, drilling, fixing, grouting top steel wire rope

anchors 12 mm diameter of rope Grade 1770 N/Sq. mm, steel anchors of

length 2m for fixing top and bottom support ropes along with steel plates;

E) Drilling of 50 mm to 75 mm dia. holes and providing, fixing 25 mm

diameter of Fe500 surface steel anchors of 1m length and grouting the

holes by cement grout with necessary admixtures as per the design;

including safety, all other ancillary works, material, machinery, labour etc.
