Laying/fixing shall be done with interlocking / seaming the approved colour different sheets without making holes or preventing the overturning the roof by wind addition made up from superior quality including fixing end cnnections, hangers, clamps etc. as may be necessary at site. NOTE: -This item includes designing of self-supported roof system as per requirement for load like wind load, self-weight and earthquake loads; including vetting of design by IITs/NITs/Govt. Engineering Colleges. Supply, fabrication & erection of self-supported single span arch roof (of approx size 20 m span X 28 m length & height 7 m approx.) fabricated from mechanically seamed Hydraulic Machines to profiles of Imported Galvalume Cold Rolled Structural Steel coils as per required shape and curvature, Steel Sheet, Aluminum-Zinc Alloy Coated by Hot-Dip Process. The interlocking panels shall be pressed to close the seam forming water tight joints. The work shall be carried out as per manufacturer’s specifications and directions of Engineer in Charge. The rate of item is inclusive of the cost of all the materials, flashings at ends, machinery, labour involved in all the operations described above including charges of all lifts, leads, transportation scaffolding, centering shuttering and all the taxes, excise duty, Octroi etc as applicable. The cost of fixing self supported roofing system at both the ends with end connectors as designed is also included in this item. (For payment purpose, only plan area of sheet shall be measured in sqm upto two decimals. Nothing extra shall be paid on any account.)
Providing and applying sodium silicate based transparent surface hardener, dust proofer, ceiling & curing compoud coating for concrete (minimum 2 coats) of make SIKKA/FOSROC/BASF or equivalent on existing hardened cement concrete floor to provide improved chemical and abrasion resistance, reducing dusting and improving cleanability to concrete floor. Material shall confirm to ASTM C-156 for water retention & abrasion resistance as per IS 1237 - 1980 & IS 9162 - 1979 and the consumption of material should be minimum 0.30 Kg./sqm/coat. The item should be executed properly complete as per manufactures specification and as per direction and satisfaction of engineer in charge.
