REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF TRANSFORMERS AND ALLIED WORKS AT AF STN KUMBHIRGRAM

Centrifuging (filteration/dehydration) of transformer oil including checking initial and after filteration Dielectric Strength of oil for transformers, Isolation transformers and voltage stabilizers located in various places of technical and domestic area with suitable machine having filteration, heating and pumping facility to improve the dielectric strength/insulation value of oil complete all as specified and directed. Note :-(a) (i) Di electric strength of oil after filteration/dehydration shall not be less than 50 kv. (ii) Oil for toping up shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule (iii) The contractor will take shut down orders from Engr-in-chagrge in writing atleast two days before before commencement of work. (iv) The dielectric strength of oil shall be tested before and after filtration and necessary test results shall be submitted to the Engr-in-chaerge. (b) Filtration /dehydration of transformer oil shall be carried out at the location where transformer is installed under the AOR of AGE E/M Kumbhirgram and necessary filter/dehydration plant having pressure gauge, hour meter, temperaturature gauge to be brought at site by contractor including electric supply arrangement to run the dehydration equipment and rate shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M & L for topping up/replacement of transformer oil with new transformer oil suitable for working voltage 11000 volts grade including necessary dehydration to achieve dielectric strength min 60 KV at 2.5 mm gap complete all as specified and directed. Note for serial item No 2:- (a) New transformer oil to be bought in company sealed ISI marked container with test certificate.

M & L for replacement of silica gel grains in the breather assembly of transformer complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for replacement of breather assembly made with polycarbonate base and clear acylic glass of size min 50mm dia, min 120 mm long or suitable size as per site requirement for transformer complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for replacement of transformer temperature gauge dial type having temp range 0 to minimum 120 degree celcius complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for openning of top cover at situ or at workshop by unscrewing all nuts, bolts & washers, draining out transformer oil upto required level and keeping in clean container for replacement of HT/LT bushings, for lifting of core assy, for cleanning/repair and refixing complete with new cork sheet gasket, existing/new nuts, bolts & washers for transformer indoor/outdoor type, refilling of oil all as specified and directed for transformer capacity upto100 KVA to 200 KVA, 11/0.433 KV volts grade complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- HT/LT bushings, Studs, Brass stud, Nuts, bolts & washers required shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of the schedule)

All as per items No-06 here-in-before but for transformer capacity 250-315 KVA.

M&L for replacement of transformer porcelain bushing outdoor/indoor type in situ/workshop suitable for 11 KV grade complete with brass studs, rubber bush, washers, nuts, checknuts and cork sheet gasket for the rating of 100 KVA to 200 KVA, 11/0.415 KV transformer complete all as specified and directed.

All as per items No-8 here-in-before but for transformer capacity 250-315 KVA.

M&L for replacement of transformer LT porcelain bushing indoor/outdoor type in situ/workshop suitable for 1100 volts grade complete with rubber bush, washers, nuts, checknuts and cork sheet gasket for the rating of 100 KVA, to 200 KVA 11/0.433 KV transformer complete all as specified and directed. Note:(i) Brass Stud shall be measured and paid separately under relavant item

All as per item No-10 here-in-before but for transformer capacity 250-315 KVA,

M&L for replacement of brass stud suitable for LT 1100 volts grade with con & rubber washer, double Brass nuts & brass washer at both end of stud for Tfr cap 100 KVA to 200KVA complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item Ser No-12 here-in-before but for transformer capacity 250-315 KVA

Taking out defective transformer of capacity 100 KVA to 200 KVA from its position by dismantling LT/HT cables, earthing and earthing strip removing upto road n. exc 1 KM and transportation by vehicle to workshop n. exc 30 KM and return back to original location after repair, reinstallation including connection of all HT/LT cabes, earthing and earthing strip and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note: Rate deemed to included for disconnecting and reconnecting of necessary HT/LT cable/ACSR, earthing connection before and after installation)

All as per items No-14 here-in-before but for transformer capacity 250 to 315 KVA.

M & L for lifting the transformer core carefully after dismantling terminal connections from core to HT/LT bushings, tap changer assembly, drainout all oil and keeping in clean container, dismantling defective HT & LT coils from core for rewinding, and reassembling complete with HT/LT coils to core, required necessary numax paper insulation, insulating press board, precompressed board size of 6mm/3mm/1.5mm/1mm, varnishing, heating to achive insulation level not less than 1000 megaohms at both HT & LT side, core at transformer chamber, tap changer assy, terminal connection, top cover with new cork sheet gusket, required existing/new nuts, bolts & washers, filling transformer oil, testing after repair complete all as specified and directed for the 100 to 200 KVA, 11/0.415 KV transformer complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Opening of top cover, Rewinding of HT/LT coils, transformer oil, nuts, bolts & washers, HT/LT busings, required shall be measured and paid separately under relavant items of the schedule. (ii) Test result shall be kept in record duly signed by all concerned (iii) Testing record will be prepared by contractor.

All as per items No-16 here-in-before but for transformer capacity 250-315 KVA.

M&L for rewinding of HT coils suitable for 11000 volts grade with new DPC/super enamelled copper wire having Class-F insulation as per existing size and turns for capacity of transformer 100 to 400KVA KVA complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rewinding of LT coils suitable for 1100 volts grade with new DPC /super enamelled copper strip having Class-F insulation as per existing size and turns for capacity of transformer 100 to 315 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for replacement of Tap changer assembly having 7 position of transformer including dismantling and taking out old unserviceable one and dismantling all winding terminal connections and reconnecting after replecement complete upto transformer cap 400 KVA 11/0.433 KV complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of transformer outer surface installed at various electric sub station/ pump housed, in situ/wksp with one coat of synthetic enamel paint using mechanical sprayer for transformer capacity 100 to 200 KVA after preparation of old painted surface including writing M/C No. complete all as specified and directed Note : (i) During process of painting, transformer shall be under shut down position . (ii) After completion of painting HT/LT outdoor bushing, cable termination joint, Oil inspection glass and name plates to be made clean using volatile cleanner)

All as per items No-21 here-in-before but for transformer capacity 250-315 KVA.

S&F in repair switch air break gang operated triple pole out door type on HT 11 KV 50 cycle AC suitable for current rating upto 200 amps mechanically operated mounted on insulators and frame with operating mechanism worked from ground level with and including locking arrangement complete all as specified and directed. Make :- PACTIL/NATIONAL/CEC/ECE/JAIPURIA

S&F in repair HT lightening arrester expulsion type with all fittings discharging capacity 65 KA, 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and directed. Make :- Alstom/Oblum/Crompton Greaves.

Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, surrounded from all sides by 15 cm thick packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filled in alternate layers etc and connected to and including 32 X 6mm GI earth strip upto 7.5 m by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made of GI and protected by light grade 40 mm bore GI pipe connected to main control board and GI pipe medium grade 20 mm bore for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, and providing RCC pit cover flush to earth pit 50 mm thick type B-1 reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bar 100 mm C/C and PCC chamber pit with PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20 mm graded aggregate) including excavation and earthwork, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and testing after completion all as specified and shown on electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I 2009
