Supply and fixing factory made 2nd class hardwood, glazed and skeleton shutters, 35mm thick open rebated and prepared to receive glass, gauze, etc. (without sash bars), edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded. fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass, etc.; sizes of members of shutters as specified in SSR Part I, Section 8, clause 8.24 (a); supplied and fitted to chowkats, complete all as specified and directed. Material and labour for dark shade/double charged Virified Ceramic tiles 10 mm thick (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles exceeding 0.36 sqm but not exceeding 0.42 sqm,laid over and including 15mm thick screed bedding in cement mortar 1:4 in floors etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete ( unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specially provided for including removal of debries out of defence land complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for 75mm thick Plain cement concrete (1:3:6), Type C-2, using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in plinth protection, finished the surface even and fair, complete all as specified.

Demolition of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc. laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar complete all as specified and directed..

Material and labour for 18 to 20mm thick Granite black/brown in colour (of any type), (table rubbed and polished), machine cut, as on cooking platforms, window cills, steps and like, set in neat grey cement slurry @ 3Kg/Sqm, laid over and including 15mm thick bedding layer in cement mortar (1:4), including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 18 to 20 mm thick Granite black/brown in colour (of any type), (table rubbed and polished), machine cut, set in neat grey cement slurry @ 3Kg/Sqm, in skirting/ dado laid over cement plaster in CM 1:4 , 10mm thick and jointed with grey cement slurry, and pointed with white cement with admixture of pigment to match the shade of granite stone including grinding, moulding and polishing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for RCC (1:1.5:3) type A-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate, as in chajjas, fins, louvers, roof projections, beam and lintel after removing loose concrete and preparation of roof surfaces by application of de-rusting chemical such as Dr fixit rust remover or equivalent and welding additional main bars/ distribution bars if found necessary by inserting to adequate depth in beam by drilling, pinning reinforcement old bars/new with including necessary sacafolding and form work as required upto the height 3.5 mtr, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- 1. Rates shall be deemed to include the cost for necessary scafolding etc. 2. Reinforcement will measured and paid separately. 3. Water proofing treatment to sunken portion of WCs, bathroom etc. by applying coating of cement slurry mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound of make as approved inTechnical instruction 5/ 2003 as detailed hereunder:- (a) Applying 15 mm thick plaster (1:4) in cement sand mortar with integral water proofing compound 2% by weight of cement on floor and wall, finishing the surfaces even and smooth wiithout using extra cement. The surface shall then be cured and allowed to dry. (b) First layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 Kg/Sqm mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.253 Kg/Sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hrs. (c) Second layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242 Kg/Sqm mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.126 Kg/Sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed with water curing for 48 hours.

Material and labour for lime concrete with 40 mm graded brick aggregate with lime mortar 1:2 as in sunken portion of floor, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates including integral water proofing compound as per manufacturer's instructions, as in padding in sunken portion of floor slab, coving to junction of floor and vertical walls, including chamfering on edges, finishing the surface fair and even without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed. Material and labour for Waterproofing expansion joint by Providing and applying Thermoplastic Elastomer tape 200mm wide 1mm thick, a modified flexible TPE based root resistant membrance with chemical resistant. The tape system must be tensile strength >5N/mm2 according to ASTM D412; tear strength > 25N/mm according to ASTM D 624; elongation > 400% according to ASTM D 412; chemically resistant to several chemicals; passes low tempreature foldability at -40◦C according to ASTM C 1305; passes artificial weathering according to ASTM G 154. The tape must be capable of servicing a wide range of temperature of -40◦C to +80◦C. The tape, adhesive and repair mortar must by provided by same manufactuerer for full compatibility. The application shall include final base preparation, epoxy primer application in rato 1.1 (resin: hardner) with 100% water dilution and application of Hybrid polyurea in two coats in 6 hrs interval to achieve total min thickness 1 to 1.50mm. The application/ treatment shall be carried out by authorized rep of approved specialist firm/manufacturer. Make- SIKA/FOSROC/Asian Paints/Berger. Note:- The defect liability period of water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab including sunken floor shall be 10 years and the contractor shall be responsible to keep the entire building(s) free From leakage/seepage for a period of 10 years after certified date of completion. The contractor may obtain a similar guarantee from the specialist firm engaged by him for the purpose.

EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY WORK

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of Low Tension (LT) XLPE insulated, galvanized steel strip armoured, heavy duty, electric power cable, cross sectional area 35 Sqmm 3.5 core aluminum conductor 1100 volts grade underground cable including both side connection with cable lugs etc, laid in trenches, along poles or passing through pipes or laid under floor or through walls etc, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning and precast concrete cable cover/bricks for protection of cable shall be measured and paid separately.

Taking out / down old existing LT 1100volt grade cables, any size, laid in trenches, including bricks/Precast PCC cable cover for protection, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioning with a layer of dry river sand, 80 mm thick before laying of cable and 150 mm thick (punned down to 100 mm thick) after laying of cables, in trenches/ducts, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Punned down thickness (overall 18cm), shall be considered for measurement and payment.

Material and labour, locally available, sub class `B’ bricks (old size), laid flat and dry perpendicular to the direction of cable adjacent to each other, in trenches over the cable for protection, complete all as specified and directed.

LIGHTING PROTECTION

Material and labour for Single point air termination copper rod 12 mm dia 300 mm long, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing galvanized steel water tubes 25 mm bore, medium grade, with all standard fittings such as bends, elbows, tees etc, laid in trenches, in floor/ under road, including taking up or down existing steel water tubing and connections and removing from site to store for reuse or credit, including taking down standard fittings, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- Excavation & earth work shall be measured and paid for seperately.

Supply and fixing galvanized steel water tubes 20 mm bore, medium grade, with all standard fittings such as bends, elbows, tees etc, laid in trenches, in floor/ under road, including taking up or down existing steel water tubing and connections and removing from site to store for reuse or credit, including taking down standard fittings, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- Excavation & earth work shall be measured and paid for seperately.

Supply and fixing Gun-metal globe or gate valves, half turn, screwed down, high pressure,heavy duty, ISI marked , with MS handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions of 25 mm bore, including taking down old & removal, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre deep for laying/taking out of cables, pipes, foundation of poles etc. and getting out, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming excavated soil in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each, excavated soil in trenches after pipes have been laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.
