M&L in repair to burnt transformer upto capacity 630 KVA indoor/outdoor type 11 KV / 440 volts removing HT & LT cable connection from transformer and taking into the workshop with the help of man power, crane, truck, TPT etc opening the top cover lifting the core removing sludge with oil pressure pump, repair of burnt/damage winding of suitable size including core limb, insulating material, applying two coats of insulation paper/varnish etc and put in the oven for 24 hrs and cleaning the tank sludge etc. After completion of the job, transformer tests to be carried out that is no load test short circuit test and oil colour test to be done at factory in the presence of Engineer -in- charge. Any damages of bushes and studs to be replaced. Shifting the transformer from workshop to substation etc all as specified and directed. Note: - (i) Spare parts measured and paid separately. (ii) Standby transformer suitable KVA should be provided by contractor at the site for uninterrupted supply and the cost/rent of standby deemed to be including in repairing cost and no extra payment shall be made on this account.

Preventive maintenance of transformer 63 to 630 KVA indoor/outdoor type 11 KV / 440 volts following repairs complete all as specified and as directed. [a] Draining out transformer in the suitable capacity of container / drums and keeping it in safe custody for reuse. [b] Lifting, transporting & handling the transformer to the work shop and opening top cover of the transformer by unscrewing nuts / bolts / washers etc. including disconnecting core assembly from HT / LT bushing and lifting the same gently with the help of crane and taking out from the shell [Container / Body] of the transformer. [c] Visual inspection of entire Core Assembly, Transformer Tank, Core Limbs, OLTC etc., locating the fault / damages. [d] Cleaning the transformer body from inside, removing deposited dirt / sludge / foreign particles etc. from the bottom / body of the transformer, cleaning with CTC and drying up the shell from inside before refilling with the Transformer Oil. [e] Cleaning and washing thoroughly core and serviceable windings of the transformer by hosing down with clean dry oil conforming to IS – 336, removing deposited dirt / sludge / foreign particles from the windings / core through inspection of windings, providing insulations to leads and terminals complete and re-assembling the core including newly winded coils etc. [f] Heating / drying / baking complete carefully and thoroughly inside the heating chamber at suitable temperature to obtain required value of insulation resistance etc all as per IS. [g] Lifting and refixing core assembly inside the transformer shell gently and carefully connecting Primary / Secondary / Neutral Terminal Connections to the bushings assembly, fixing of Tap changer including tightening of nuts, bolts, washers of the core to reduce humming noise. [h] Refilling the filtered transformer oil in the shell of transformer complete. [i] Refixing the top cover including replacement of Cork Sheet / Gasket 8 mm thick tightening of nuts / bolts / washers etc. and replacement of Breather with Silica Gel. [j] Lifting / Shifting to the place from where removed and re-installing the transformer including connecting Primary / Secondary / Neutral connections etc. [k] The inspection of transformer shall involve Checking of all clamps, nuts, bolts including core bolts & cover fixing bolts, checking all brazing, joints, tap heads and connection joints, checking all jumpers, terminations / connections inside the transformer and Checking the Bucholtz Relay / Conservator MOG if any. Note: - Standby transformer suitable KVA should be provided by contractor at the site for uninterrupted supply

M&L for complete servicing / calibration of Vaccum Circuit Breaker of capacity 630 KVA for carrying out following Repairs, Overhauling, Servicing, Preventive Maintenance and refixing the same after Repair / Overhauling complete and calibration to VCB with required instrument for all function of VCBs like over current (OC), Under Voltage (UV), Earth Fault (EF), instant tripping mechanism operationon fault and testing all as specified and as directed: [a] Tripping off the breaker, lowering the breaker with raising / lowering handle and pulling out the breaker complete from the panel along with the trolley for servicing / inspection / overhauling. [b] Servicing / Inspecting / checking of Automatic Safety Shutter operation for serviceability and replacement of spares if required. [c] Servicing / Inspecting / checking of circuit spout and circuit spout connections for RYB Phases and replacement of spares if required. [f] Servicing / Inspecting / checking of Secondary Sockets / Busbar Earthing Plugs / Earthing Sockets and replacement of spares if required. [g] Checking, setting and adjustment of lowering and raising operation of the Breaker Trolley. Note:- [a] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be include for necessary T & P, nuts, bolts, washers, gasket, insulation tape, compound, all as per existing etc. to put in to the VCBs and Panels in serviceable condition, testing and commissioning all as specified and as directed. Tightening/restringing existing loose/broken conductor ACSR/ copper any type of size and GI wire including strengthening of HT overhead lines including binding with suitable binding wire and jointing jumpers as required at site and all as specified and directed.

Supply and replacement of silica-gel (dehydrating agent) in position on transformers installed at various location at Haldwani all as specified and directed.

Trimming of trees all as along the HT/LT line in such a way that there is clear distance of 3.00 mtr between tree and electric line including stringing stretching and strengthening of overhead loose conductor (ACSR) on existing HT steel tubular pole or RS joist HT electric pole including binding and jointing the conductor with and including 14 SWG winding wire etc. The work will be executed to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge irrespective of the size of the tree branches etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: - (1) Tree branches will be left as it is the wood belong to cantt board/DO. They will be responsible for the wood. (2) Contractor will deploy sufficient labour to complete the full one job within 15 days. (3). Contractor will be responsible for any type of accident while trimming the trees. (4) Contractor supervisor will take proper sit down for MES installation before starting the work and clear it before resuming power supply, however full assistant will be provided by MES staff.
