PROVISION OF DIESEL GENERATORS TOWARDS AUGMENTATION OF BACKUP POWER SUPPLY FOR PROJECT NCN FDMS SITES AT NAVAL DOCKYARD, VISAKHAPATNAM

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of diesel engine driven DG set capacity of 40 KVA, 415 V with AVR and AMF system including foundation as per OEM recommadation complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in duct XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip armoured, overall PVC sheathed electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade (Earthed) cross sectional area 35 sq. mm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 x 60cm x 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meters deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 32 x 6 mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel as shown in electrical Plate No. 2, connected to the earthing test point, concrete pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 with RCC precast pit cover slab 80mm thick with handle for lifting made out of 8mm dia MS rod, Funnel with watering pipe, wiremesh, charcoal and salt in alternate 150mm thick layers around earth plate including necessary returning filling in & removal all as specified or indicated in SSR Part-I, including testing to achieve earth resistance value as per IS specification on completion after dismentling taking out unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix LT Pillar Box and supply, fabricate, install, testing and commissioning in-door type, single door dust & vermin proof LT piller box of 2 M length, 1 M width & 1.6 M height fabricated vertically by using 50x50x5 mm angle iron frame, fixing with nuts & bolts on 75 x 40 mm ISMC as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge and using 3 mm thick CRCA MS sheet all over body front and back cover with hinges and aldrops for locking arrangments, 1 mm thick FRP coating all over the external surfaces and 3 mm thick MS sheet for bus bar cover, pillar Box, partitions and bottom cable entry covers duly painted with one coat of redoxide and two coats of synthetic enamel paint including control wiring complete in LT pillar box with 1.5 sq mm FRLS copper conductor cable and 6A MCB SPs meters, breaker control supply and indication lamps and provision to accommodate the following:

(a) 3 ph+1N Copper busbar of equall sizes of capacity 1.5 times of rated current of incoming switchgear. (b) 3 ph+1N Copper busbar of equall sizes of capacity 1.5 times of rated current of outgoing switchgears as down links/connectivity links to switchgear. (c) Digital ammeter & voltmeter for incoming & Digital ammeter for outgoing. (d) LED indication lamps for RYB for incoming and outgoing indication.(Red,yellow & blue coloured) (e) LT MCCB – 250Amps, 4P, 36KA, complete with over current and earth fault tripping device as incomer -01No (f) LT MCCB - 125 Amps, 3P, 36 KA complete with over current and earth fault tripping device as out going-02 No (g) Changeover 63A -01No

Note : (i) Unit rate quoted include for necessary grouting / chipping of concrete and Anchor fastners and providing necessary PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone agreegate for foundation to fix the LT Piller Box. (ii) Cost of digital ammeter, voltmeter, LED lamps, CTs, LT ACBs, MCCBs and MCBs shall be included in the quoted rate. (iii) Drawing shall be got approved by GE before fabrication of the LT pillar Box. (iv) All incoming and outgoing cable connections are to be made as per existing one and rate deemeded to be included in the quoted rate.

S&F galvanised iron earthing strip 32x6mm including connection with existing strip by making necessary drilled hole complete all as specified and directed.
