Item Breakup - A-Execution (SOR)
Excavation of trench in all kinds of soils including Kilometre soft rocky area and clearing of roots of trees,rocks, bushes,ballast & reconditioningetc.including bailing out water and disposal of extra soil including back filling with excavated earth and ramming o f trenches after cable laying for the following depths and widths as specified in Technical Circular No. 2 of 1988 & 01/2010 issued by CSTE/SER. Note:- In case, trenches are other than prescribed depth & width, Proportionate payment shall be released. (i) Depth 1.0 meter, Width 0.3 meter.

Supply and transportation of 'U' clamps, anchoring of cable at every 10 metres interval with 'U' clamp on trench to Drawing No. CSTE/ CON /CABLES/81 or latest. Supply, transportation, and placing of cable demarcating led belt to Drawing No. CON/ SK/ T/6 or latest punched at an interval of 30 metres and wrapped round each cable throughout the cable route and also at every track/ Road/ platform crossing as above specified in Technical Circular No. 2/1988 & 01/2010 issued by CSTE/SER or as per latest guidelines and guarding the cables. Collecting empty drums with left over cable and to be returned to the stores of stock holder. Note: Cables will be meggered before & after its laying by contractor under supervision of Railway representative & Contractor will submit their reports. CKP-DIVN- S AND T/SOUTH EASTERN RLY
Supply & laying of 300 mm X 100 mm pre- Metre cast/cast in -situ RCC cable ducts including top cover as per RDSO drawing No. SDO/S&T/RCC DUCT/1018/1 & 2, dated 29.5.23 or latest. Note- The rate is inclusive of all type of transportation including labour till it is placed into trenches. The laying of cables shall be paid separately fulfilling the laying procedure as per above drawings. (Inspection by representative of Sr. DSTE/CKP)
Supply, transportation and fixing of RCC Cable Numbers Route Marker as per SEM drawing No. 15-D1 or latest. (Inspection by representative of Sr. DSTE/CKP)
Physical tracing and opening/locating of existing Metre working cables by precision digging for diversion of cables in connection with cable clearance for engineering earth work or for utility shifting without interfering the circuits as per the advice of Railway site engineer.
Transportation of cables in rolls with or without Drum-Km wooden drums (S&T Cables) from concerned store to the site of works. Note: The unit Drum- KM indicates Drum X length of cable in that drum. It doesn't have any significance over the distance it has to be carried for execution of the work.
Transferring of Signaling/Telecom cables from Numbers existing Location box to New Location box. The work includes breaking/ Dismantling of Existing foundation of locations, excavating and removing / segregating coils of 2C/ 6C/ 12C/ 19C/24C/30C/Quad cables which may be about 10 mtrs. in length. These cables are to be disconnected and removed from the existing location one by one as per the instruction and under the supervision of Railway staff present at site. The cable is then to be inserted and terminated in new location box. The item includes neatly dressing of cable, making wiring tree etc. The material required to dressing /lacing will be arranged by contactor. The work is required to be done systematically and with due precaution during the block or disconnection within the time that may be allowed. The excavation work to be done carefully without damaging the cable to avoid undue failure. (Termination charges will be given separately). Note: Proportionate payment will be made if cable of other length. One No unit = One cable of 10 m length).
Termination of Outdoor Cables (Main Cables/tail Per cables) at location boxes, cable termination rack Conductor in relay room, station building, etc. The item includes dressing of cablesand wires with dressing threads as per standard practice. All material required for this item will be supplied by contractor. CKP-DIVN- S AND T/SOUTH EASTERN RLY
Transportation including loading/unloading of Kilometre Optical Fibre Cable along with HDPE pipe from the stores of SSE/Store or from any store of SE Railway to the site with care and laying of HDPE pipe & blowing of OFC in it as per procedure and returning empty cable drums with or without left over cable to the stores of SSE/Store. It also includes supply and placing of warning & Detection tape orange colour of 100 mm wide printed in black as "CAUTION OFC CABLE" and laid throughout the trench as directed by the Representative of Railway. Note: OTDR of cables will be done before & after its laying by contractor under supervision of Railway representative & contractor will submit their reports.
Splicing of Optical Fiber Core and routing in joint CORE closure/ FDMS as per instruction of site Engineer.
Installation, splicing and commissioning of Fibre Numbers Distribution Management system (FDMS) for 24 Fiber complete with all accessories such as patch cord & pigtail etc. as per TEC Spec. with latest amendment. The sundry material if required any to be supplied by contractor.
Blowing/Drawing/Pulling of OFC cable through Metre already laid HDPE duct /GI pipe /DWC pipe etc.
Laying of HDPE duct in trench and its protective Metre work as per direction of site engineer.
Transportation and fixing of following types of Numbers C.T. Box (Aluminium/Wago type) and termination of cable as per details of jointing schedule approved by the Railway Engineers. (i) 20 pair C.T. Box/Krone type DP Box.
Supply, transportation and installation of RCC Numbers joint chamber with two piece top cover and bottom cover with holes for drainage and cable entry, as per Drawing No. RDSO/ TCDO/COP-21 or latest. This includes trenching for jointing pit of size min 1.5 m X 1.5 m X 1.2m for all types of soils, back filling and ramming of the pit after placing the joint closure and cable loop in the chamber including dry sand upto 600mm height without causing any damage to same and consolidation of soil as well as disposal of excess soil. (Inspection by representative of Sr. DSTE/CKP)
Execution of Straight joint on Quad cable/ jelly Numbers filled Telecom cable using Thermo- shrink/Universal jointing kit (RTSF). This includes excavation of cable joint pit of size 1.5 m X 1.5 m X 1.2 m for jointing of cables, back filling and ramming after jointing. After jointing, the cable through test such as insulation test, continuity test etc. to be carried out jointly with Railway Engineer. If any defect or any damage is observed during jointing the contractor has to redo the joint free of cost. Note: In case jointing is required to be done in the Location boxes, then 80% payment will be released.
Mechanised Drilling/Micro Tunnelling under Metre important/ busy metal/concrete road/Railway track and laying of GI pipe including supply (make: TATA/Jindal or better) of min.75mm inner diameter Grade Medium with Spec. No. IS- 1239, Pt-1, 2004 including supply, Boring and pulling cable upto 110mm dia. at a depth of min. 1 meter as per site condition. This also includes reinstatement of the surface to the original state. CKP-DIVN- S AND T/SOUTH EASTERN RLY
Supply, transportation and fixing of Galvanised Metre Iron Pipe (make: TATA/Jindal or better) with threaded collars (for jointing pipe) of 80 mm nominal bore Specification No. IS: 1239, Pt-1, 2004 thickness 3.2 mm medium grade, on bridges, culverts, drain or at places as per instruction of the site Engineer including supply and transportation of materials required for fixing the pipe as per SEM Drawing No.15-D7 on culverts and others including drawing of cables inside the pipe with masonry work at bridge entry and exit of the culvert and curing for 72 hours and pipes are to be clamped at max. 2 meter apart with drilling of holes on the pipe at 10 cm apart for S&T Cables. Note:- This also includes dismantling of released GI Pipe/Trough and released material should be returned at concerned store. (Inspection by representative of Sr. DSTE/CKP)
HDD: In case of short stretches (less than 100 m Metre in single stretch) Micro Tunnelling through Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) machine, preparation of sites, boring and laying of HDPE pipes of size (Outer/Inner diameter= 50mm/42mm) for crossing of S&T cable through HDPE pipe at bridges/ culverts/track crossing/pucca road crossing. Boring trench shall be minimum 3 (three) meter below the surface/ river bed and minimum 1 m at track/road/pucca road crossing area etc. This includes supply of permanently lubricated HDPE telecom ducts of equal length as per Specification No. DSO/ SPN/ TC/ 45/2013 REVISION 2.0 with latest amendments. For each HDPE duct the following items are to be supplied as per requirement (a) End plug, (b) Cable sealing plugs, (c) Plastic coupler slip fit/push fit type & (d) End plugs to be provided along with drum. In case the site doesn't allow to perform as per schedule, written approval must be obtained from at least site incharge officer. Note: The boring profile should be recorded and submitted for verification of depth and length of boring. (i) 2 HDPE pipe.

Horizontal Drilling by using manual pushing Metre method (also called moling) at minimum depth of 1.5 meter below the formation level of earth as per decision of Engineer in charge. Boring diameter should be atleast 110mm. The ground level shall be considered ignoring the bank height of the bank of the road. Note: DWC/ HDPE/GI Pipe Supply is covered under this item. Contactor shall provide all material required for work and adequate nos. of labours for proper laying of cables into the bore. Cable shall be laid cautiously so that it should not get damage due to rough handling & pressure on cable. Payment of boring shall be made only after laying of the cables into DWC/HDPE/GI pipe.
Cement Concrete o f proportion 1:3:6 (Cement: cum Sand: Stone chips o f 2 5 m m nominal size) for miscellaneous items. I t includes excavation, ramming o f C C b y using vibrator, curing and plastering w i t h c e m e n t a n d sand mixture (aggregate w i l l n o t exceed b e y o n d 3 . 8 cm). Note: All materials required for foundation are to be supplied by the contractor.
Execution of Full Apparatus Case with earth Numbers excavation for pit, concrete foundation, surrounding earth work, erection and installation as per Drawing No. Con/SK/T/8 or latest and wiring to be done as per SEM Drawing No.19-D8 or as per direction of site engineer. Supply and fixing of Hylam sheet strip of appropriate size of 3 mm or 6 mm as required with hole for fixing of terminals, fuse blocks, relay and other accessories for signal/track circuit, termination of cable with number embossed ferrules, bunching of cables with PVC tape, proper soldering of cable armour with earth catenary wire, earthing of cable armour as required. Writing & terminal description including Painting of the apparatus case inside and outside after clearing the surface thoroughly and first coating of anticorrosive paint and subsequent two coats of Aluminium paint outside and red oxide inside and lettering etc. This also includes transportation of 25 mm/12mm Hylam sheet for shelf or as required and also includes minor modification in L/Boxes as per site requirement. The contractor shall supply 4 no. of foundation nuts & bolts of size 22 mm dia. x 450 mm long with 2 flat spring washers, with each nut & bolts, sand for filling up cable pit inside the apparatus case including plaster and bolts, nuts, screws, MS Clamps for fixing equipment/cable. Note: - Part payment shall be released after completion of- (i) Foundation- 40%, (ii) Erection - 10%, (iii) Wiring, earthing, testing - 20%, (iv) Painting, writings - 10%, (v) Plastering, sand filling & etc. - 10%, (vi) Commissioning - 10%.
Excavation of earth pit, placing & fixing of Earth Numbers electrode with construction of cement enclosure to SEM Drawing No. 19-D6 and drawl of 6 SWG GI/Copper cable from earth electrode to goomties/ relay room/cabin/station, etc. and drawl of MS flat 35mm x 6mm for signal post/Location box shall be used as the case may be, including fixing at both ends of the wire/MS flat. This includes transportation of materials. Note: Materials such as charcoals, salt, sal ammoniac, 6 SWG GI wire, copper lugs with Steel bolts & nuts etc. shall be supplied by the contractor. Excavation of trenches at kacha roads/under the Metre low flooded bridges/culverts or places as advised by the site in-charge of the Railway and placing of full RCC pipe 100 mm dia. inside excavated trenches of suitable depth at kacha road/ culverts and Concreting the collars at the places of joints and at both ends. Note:-RCC pipe 100 mm dia. with collars Spec. No. IS: 10262-2019 or latest and IS-456-2000 as per RCC structural drawing of SEM Drawing No. 15-D3 (Sheet-2) Class NP2 and concreting materials for collars will be supplied by the contractor.
Supply, Transportation and laying of Split RCC Metre pipe as per Spec. No. IS: 10262-2019 or latest and IS-456-2000 & SEM Drawing No.15-D3 having plain ends with their jointing loose split collar half round of size 250 mm (inner diameter)/25mm thickness at site over the single/multiple cable laid in the trench. (Inspection by representative of Sr. DSTE/CKP)

Track/ Pucca road/Platform crossing/ Level crossing as per SEM Drawing No.15-D5 including supply, transportation and laying of DWC pipes (full) with collar(for jointing pipes) Inner diameter/Outer diameter:103mm/120mm to Specification No.14830 (Part-2): 2001 as per SEM Drawing No. 15-D4 and drawing of cable through DWC pipes with collar(for jointing pipes) including back filling and ramming after cable laying as specified in Tech. Circular No. 2 of 1988 & 01/2010 issued by CSTE/SER for S&T Cables or any latest guidelines. This includes repairing and plastering of Platform/Pucca road after cable laying.
Provision of double bonding wire by drilling Set suitable holes as directed by site Engineer with contractor's materials such as channel pin, GI wire & other misc. Items as required at site.
Installation, testing and commissioning of track Set circuit on Point & Crossings as per Drawing No. SK/DRG/OL/27 or latest and track bonding plan. The work includes drilling of 9/32" hole on Rails, provision of bonding, fixing and painting of Track Lead Junction Boxes, termination of tail cables, termination of Track lead wires, double Jumper wires, Installation & wiring of track feed set (Track Charger, Adjustable Resistance, choke coil, fuses, battery, relays etc.), testing of Glued/Block Joints and also lettering/numbering of track lead junction boxes, block joints and track circuits. This also includes transportation of all materials required for the above installation. Note: Track feed set, bonding wires, TLJB, channel pin, tail cable to be supplied by Railway.
Transportation & Fixing of insulated lead wire in Numbers track circuits. This includes cutting of insulated lead wire in two pieces of required length (one of not less than 3.5 meter. & another not less than 1.5Mtr.) and eyelet of suitable diameter is to be crimped at one end of each wire. The crimped end is to be connected to the terminals of JB and the other end to be fixed to Rail with channel pin by removing existing channel pin etc. Note: All required sundry materials like channel pin, eyelet & insulated lead wire shall be supplied by the contractor. Transportation, installation and charging of 2V Numbers lead acid type Secondary Cell and preparation of electrolyte for each cell. Charging to be done as per OEM's instruction with uninterrupted power supply in presence of Railway representative. After charging, it should be kept at the dedicated location as per use. Note- If power is not available at site of work, charging may be done at nearby location as per convenience of the railway. This includes transportation of uncharged cells at the site of charging, supply of acid, distilled water at the site of charging and transportation of charged cells back to the site of work. (i) 2 Volt 80AH.
Shifting of HASSDAC/SSDAC from old location Set and installation, wiring, testing and commissioning in new axle counter room/ location box. This includes fixing of DPs at site if shifting required, evaluator in relay room/ location box or goomties together with termination of cables, fixing and wiring of LV boxes, painting, lettering etc as required. Necessary insertion/ modification on the control/ indication panel to be carried out as per site condition. Note: 1 set means one end of the block section.
Shifting/re-locating, fixing, wiring, testing of Per existing MSDAC DP as per direction of site Detection engineer of Railway. This includes excavation of Point (DP) trenches for fixing of Tx/Rx cable, foundation etc. if required and re-erection of same DP. Rail connect/Track device opening from railway track and refitted with rail connect accessories as per instruction of SSE/Sig in-charge of the section. Note: Track device means 01 DP of MSDAC. Any Rail connect/Track device accessories like nut & bolt, insulation etc. and damage during shifting has to be supplied by the contractor.
Alteration/modification in existing location Numbers boxes, includes fixing/Removal or both the equipment, cable insertion, termination, wiring, testing & commissioning, two coat painting, lettering to suit the circuits as per approved wiring diagram. This includes filling with sand and plastering the same. Note: All the sundry materials such as paint, sand, cement, screws etc to be supplied by the contractor.
Transportation and installation of 2-Aspect Numbers Signal Post for MACLS as per drawing no. Con/SK/T/12 or SEM-Drawing No. 19-D3 or RDSO/M-00011RU dated 12.01.18 or latest complete with signal units, base, ladder and other fittings, excavation of earth pit, casting concrete foundation, erection of posts, thereof as specified in the note given in drawing, fixing of complete fittings of the signals with necessary earth screen protection arrangement as required including termination of cables, painting and lettering as required. Foundation nuts & bolts of appropriate size as per above drawings or latest as per RDSO Drawing No. SA-116 A/M confirming to IS: 226 and IRS:S-10/78 Rev.8. or latest to be supplied. Transportation, Installation, Wiring, Testing & Numbers Commissioning of LED Signals Lamps for Main signals Lighting Unit (i.e. Red/Yellow/Green) as per instruction of railway Engineer at the site. Note: LED particulars such as aspect, make, type, Sr. No. etc. to be recorded in proper in proper register.
Transportation, Installation, Wiring, Testing & Numbers Commissioning of LED Signals Lamps for Subsidiary signals lighting unit (i.e. Route aspect/Shunt Signal/Calling on aspect/A marker/AG marker etc.) as per instruction of railway Engineer at the site. Note: LED particulars such as aspect, make, type, Sr. No. etc. to be recorded in proper register.
Removal of normally 13m Rail in the way of Numbers cable route trench, signal/location box foundation, track crossing etc. In case of less or more than 13 m, proportionate payment to be done. These obstructions will be removed by the contractor for ensuring proper execution of related works.
Removal of PSC/Wooden/Steel sleeper in the Numbers way of cable route trench, signal/location box foundation, track crossing etc. These obstructions will be removed by the contractor for ensuring proper execution of related works. Note: In case of broken sleepers, proportionate payment will be made.
Cleaning of Debris and Bushes surrounding the Sqm Goomty/ Apparatus Case/Store Complex/under the existing running rod or any other Signalling installation as instructed by Engineer-in-charge.
Earth work around location boxes, signals etc. cum where necessary including 50 m lead and 1.5m lift by excavation. The lead to be measured from the centre of gravity of excavation to the centre of filling. The earth shall be rammed including breaking of clods, levelling and dressing. Removal of Earth of all kinds of soils/rocks, cum boulders including mud/slush, slipped earth in catch water drains, side drains, over berms in cutting, water way of bridges, over coping of toe/ breast/ retaining walls etc. including crossing of nallah, railway tracks, making/repairing approach roads if required, all lead, lift, handling, re-handling, ascent, descents, or any other obstruction including all labour and material as a complete job. Earth spoils to be dumped outside the cutting or railway embankments as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Chase cutting and smoothening of inside surface Metre of sizes 80 mm deep and 170 mm width for single/multiple cable chase in concrete or hard rocks or platform or cemented floor. Note: Sundries materials such as sand, cement, etc., shall be supplied by the contractor at site and to be inspected by Railway Site Engineer before placing in the chase. Note: In case, chase cutting & smoothening are other than prescribed depth & width, Proportionate payment shall be released.
Design, Preparation & Checking of cable corrage Station plan in size U(A3) or latest as per SEM. Note- i) Contractor has to collect approved Signal Interlocking Plan (SIP)/ESP from the Rly. ii) After design, development & Preparation of above diagram & drawings, contractor has to submit initially two (02) sets of paper print for checking in the Rly office. Thereafter, contractor will collect one (01) set of checked copy for necessary correction/modification/alteration, if any. iii) Only minor corrections, if any will be incorporated in the original tracing paper will be done by the Railways. iv) If there are major corrections/mistakes found during checking on paper print by Railways, then the same one (01) set of the original prints tracing papers & two (02) sets of paper prints has to be re-submitted for checking & approval. v) After approval, contractor will collect approved copies and submit 3 sets paper print along with, original tracing paper. vi) After commissioning of the work, contractor shall prepare all the completion drawings in 2 sets and put up it to approval of Rlys. Within one month or as defined in the tender document and subsequently after their approval submit the original prints on tracing papers. vii) After approval on the original tracing all drawings in 3 sets except SIP in 06 nos. of hard copy/blueprint along with the original tracing complete in all respects and two sets of soft copies pendrive to be handed over to the railways. viii) In course of execution of the work, any future development, additions and alterations etc., also to be incorporated in the circuit diagram as well as soft copy by the contractor at the completion stage. ix) The drawings shall be minutely prepared by the contractor. Maximum permissible mistakes will be 5% of the total submitted sheets in those drawings. In case, it goes beyond 5%, penalty of Rs. 250 per sheet will be deducted. x) All the drawing should be provided on good quality plotter paper. CKP-DIVN- S AND T/SOUTH EASTERN RLY

Within one month or as defined in the tender document and subsequently after their approval submit the original prints on tracing papers. vii) After approval on the original tracing all drawings in 3 sets except SIP in 06 nos. of hard copy/blueprint along with the original tracing complete in all respects and two sets of soft copies pendrive to be handed over to the railways. viii) In course of execution of the work, any future development, additions and alterations etc., also to be incorporated in the circuit diagram as well as soft copy by the contractor at the completion stage. ix) The drawings shall be minutely prepared by the contractor. Item Breakup - A1-Execution (Non-SOR)
Transportation & installation with all allied Numbers materials of Track Lead Junction Box made of fibre glass (FRP) as per Drg. No SI 10277, Alt-1 Fitted with two nos, PBT terminals with disconntion facility. FRP should be should be as pe RDSO specification No. RDSO/SPN/151/1997 with latest amendment. The track Lead junction box should be fitted with an iron angle of size 50mm/50mm, length one meter thickness five mm with two nuts and bolts of size 10mm and 50mm by drilling holes. Lower portion of iron angle to be cut and bend and to be buried in the depth up to 0.7 mtrs. Two nos. of wire rope Galvanised 7/7/19mm circumsference of three and 1.5 mtrs. long with and eylete of 25 sq.mm dia is to be carried at one end and to be connected to the terminal of JB and other end to be connected with rail with channel pin by removing exisiting connection with the rails.
