INERTIZATION AND COMMISSIONING OF PL SEC INERTIZATION AND COMMISSIONING OF PL SECTION BETWEEN SVS Inertization of pipeline between the SVs / IPs (distances are given in SOR line) of 36-inch dia pipe by supply, transportation and delivery of liquid nitrogen along with atmospheric vaporizer (minimum 3000 m3/hr capacity), arrangement of flexible hoses, temporary header and all associated valves & fittings for purging, all required manpower, machinery etc. to remove hydrocarbon from the pipeline by ensuring zero (0) LEL before cold cutting for valve and pipe replacement work. Nitrogen Purging for commissioning shall be carried out between mentioned SVs / IPs (distances are given in SOR line) under the same SOR line. Before Gas-in, it is to be ensured that Oxygen level comes below to 2% in consucative reading of 10 minutes interval. Party to submit the procedure for nitrogen purging and after approval job shall be carried out as per direction of EIC.

PIPING (ABOVE GROUND / UNDER GROUND) FABRICATION, ERECTION, INSTALLATION AND TESTING OF PIPING SYSTEM: Receiving of all Owner supplied materials from Owner's designated place(s) of issue place at HAZIRA, transportation including loading, unloading, handling from Owner's designated place(s) of issue at HAZIRA to Contractor's own stock yard(s)/ worksite(s) /work shop(s) including arranging all necessary storage area(s) thereof, as required; supply of all materials, equipment, consumables as defined in Scope of work, specifications, drawings, other provisions of Contract and instructions of Owner / Consultant. Arrangement of all land required for Contractor's storage, fabrication, access for construction (other than Owner provided space within work site of station); supply of all materials (except Owner supplied materials), consumables, equipment, labour, etc Carrying out repairs of pipe and coating defects not attributable to Owner (i.e. defects occurring after "taking over" of pipes, Valves and other free issue material from Owner); Thorough internal cleaning of all pipes, valves etc by suitable methods to remove debris, shots, grits etc. to the satisfaction of Owner / Consultant. Supply of nitrogen (Which will be paid through separate SOR item ) to get the LEL as per requirement of Owner before Dismentling and replacement of existing 36" Dia valves, one pipe spool piece and assiciated facilities etc. as per specifications. Cutting by using high speed automatic cold cutting machine and automatic bevelling for dismantling of existing 36" Dia valves, one pipe spool piece and associated facilities etc. as per specifications, drawings, other provisions of Contract and instructions of Owner / Consultant. Removal of existing Pup-piece of 36## Ball Valve (make Valve Italia) by cold cutting method. Dismentling of existing 36" Dia valves, one pipe spool piece and assiciated facilities etc. as per specifications, drawings, other provisions of Contract and instructions of Owner / Consultant. Temporary supports as required during Dismentling and replacement of existing 36" Dia valves, one pipe spool piece and assiciated facilities etc. as per specifications, drawings, other provisions of Contract and instructions of Owner / Consultant. Above ground/buried piping fabrication works including cutting, edge preparation (inclusive of rinding the edges of pipes, fittings flanges etc. to match with the matching edges of uneven/ different thickness wherever required), fit up, pre-heating wherever required, welding, threading etc. erection of pipes, valves and Actuators of all types and thickness over PIPE SUPPORT at all elevations; hook-up to all sizes, fittings, flanges, blind flanges, spectacle blinds, Field clod bend, elbows, reducers, tees, 'o' lets, tappings for Actuators as applicable , vents and drains required for process and hydrotesting purposes etc. including Pre fabrication / Fabrcation, Alignment and fit up, bending, cutting and beveling (as required) of pipes for welding and field adjustments, NDT of re- bevelled area, welding, field cold bending, carrying out destructive / non- destructive testing of welds as required Radiography (X-ray/#-ray), Ultrasonic testing , magnetic particle/ liquid penetration etc. as required and providing all requisite equipment, labor, supervision, materials, films, consumables, all facilities and personnel to process, develop, examine and interpret radiographs and other tests, as required; Pre-fabrication of 2-inch line including installation valves, hydrotests of pre-fabricated lines etc before final installation of the Valves as per drawings issued. Carrying out repairs of weld joints found defective by Owner / Consultant, carrying out re-radiography and other non- destructive tests as required on repaired joints, etc. All hook up (s) / tie-in (s), including the hook up (s) / tie-in(s) with the existing pipeline / piping including cutting of existing pipeline / piping with using of cold cutting machine and bevelling by cold cutting machine. Fixing of all types of gaskets, bolts, studs and nuts of all sizes; hook up with existing piping/pipeline installed by others as per drawings wherever required; cleaning and flushing by water/compressed air, carrying out hydrostatic test, pneumatic test, Excavation in all types of soils (including soft), depth and width including Chiseling or otherwise cutting etc.; providing trench padding as required with sand/ graded earth to accommodate for the replacement of spool piece as specified in scope document and as per the relevant standards, specifications, etc. s per approval by Owner / Consultant; Carrying out Replacement of pipe spool piece with Heat Shrinkable Sleev / Coating of all field weld joints, hydrotesting and wherever required, Installation of pipe spool piece in trench including providing sand bag separators for parallel pipelines at the specified spacing, if rquired (when applicable), providing required padding over, around and above of 600 mm of piplng spool piece with sand/material approved by Owner / Consultant, backfilling with available soils for spool piece, approved excavated material and/or other suitable soil approved by Owner / Consultant. Manufacturing of field cold bend from free issue line pipe (bare/ Coated) as per requirement for replacement of pipe spool piece is in scope of contractor. Carrying out all temporary, ancillary, auxiliary works and all incidental works required during the execution of valve and spool piece replacement work and to make the system ready for pre -commissioning and commissioning etc. Repair of defects recorded during execution or otherwise including cutting, beveling, welding, radiography, field joint coating etc; as applicable, Final clean-up and restoration of work space / site. Pre-commissioning and providing commissioning assistance to Owner for process piping as required; clean up-and restoration of site, preparation of as built drawings, documents and project records; transportation of surplus Free Issue Material / Dismentelled Material to Owner's designated places; completing all works in all respects as per the AFC drawings, specifications, standards, and other provisions of Contract and instruction of OWNER / Consultant. Disposal of debris and returning of all surplus/ Dismentellaed material to designated disposal areas/storage yard, as directed by Owner / Consultant; Restoration of land, facilities and other associated facilities dismantled/damaged by the Contractor during construction; Obtaining work permits/ NOC from Owner having jurisdiction as require, before start of any work withinstation during execution of the work, and complying with all stipulation/ conditions / recommendation of the said authorities; Preparation of as-built drawings and other records. SOR shall be read in conjuction with scope of work, job specific requirements, specifications, standards, drawings and other provision of contract document. Development & Maintenance of Contractor Storage Yard adequate to store the Free issue materials / Dismentelling Material including arrangement of all Lifting & Handling equipment at Contractor's Storage Yard shall be done by the Contractor. Rate for the same shall be quoted in applicable line items. Providing end cap of suitable material to avoid the ingress of foreign material or moisture content in existing pipline Handing over of all removal materials during replacement work to Owner from work site to Owner's designated place(s) including transportation, loading, unloading, handling from site to Owner's designated place(s) including arranging all necessary intermediate storage area(s) thereof, as required as defined in Scope of work, specifications, drawings, other provisions of Contract and instructions of Owner / Consultant. It includes supply of all man- power, equipment, consumables, materials at 3 (Three) locations ( i e Hazira ( Surat), Jagadia ( Ankleshwar) and IP_02 Staion Vaghodia (Vadodara) as per the relevant specifications, other provisions of Contract document and instructions of Owner / Consultant. Arranging heavy duty crane for lifting approximately 20 Ton of Valve & actuator assembly along with spool piece to erect / install at site. The telescopic boom working radius of curvature (center to center) will vary from 22-35 meters at different locations. The boom radious at Hazira is around 22 meters, at Jhagadiya is around 22 meter and at Vagodia is around 35 meters. The contractor has to arrange appropriate size heavy duty crane for the erection / installation of the valve assembly. Also heavy duty crane to be arranged for the erection of 22.5 meters 36-inch pipeline spool piece at Hazira.

Dismantling of existing 36" Dia (aboveground) Valves and Associated facilities and platforms etc. as per specifications, standards, drawings and other provision of contract document. Note: For Dismantling & Re-installation of Platform and Cross-overs shall be paid through separate line item.
