Compacting Original Ground : (i) Compacting original ground supporting embankment :Loosening, Levelling and Compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150 mm, mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in Tables 300.1 and 300.2 for embankment construction as per Technical Specification Clause 301.4.1.

Stitching of Bags should be Ring Spun Yarn stitches with 2500-3000 denier double line chain stitch with overlap with stitches along the edge @ minimum 15 stitches per 100 mm.(Bags are to be supplied of 100 numbers in a bundle, properly packed with each bag having proper tag with name of Manufacturer, Batch Number, the GSM and type of polymer encrypted and stitched on top corner and each bag is to be marked with “WRD Govt. of ASSAM” to be printed distinctly. Test Certificate from approved NABL accredited and ISO (Certified Laboratory should invariably be submitted against each batch of material)

Supply of G-Mat in double layered composite Geo-textile fabricated to form a three dimensional mattresses, the upper layer of the mattress being heavily woven with polypropylene fabric needle-punched with a mixture of U.V. stabilized green fibres and cut tape yarns with Upper Layer Properties as i. Supply of Galvanized Wire Netting Sheet made of 8 SWG wire 152mm square mesh in sheet 2.57m × 1.66m with longitudinal wire at 152 mm centre and 76mm projection of each wire on all sides beyond the net size of 2.42m × 1.5m having knots of 12 SWG at every joints, weight of each sheet should not be less than 6.3 Kg/sheet. Labour charge for laying, fitting and fixing of double layered Geo textile, fabricated to form a three dimensional mattresses after filling sand at design slope, filled up with sand by pump, anchoring by cutting/ at already excavated trench at the upper and lower end of slope of depth 1.00 m × 0.75 m placing the mat by bending it into the trench, filling the trench by earth filled cement bags/ sand / silt filled type - A geo-bags, sides of mattresses in sloping direction stitched by Polypropylene thread with double locking chain stitch not less than 3 stitches per 2.50 cm to achieve minimum stream strength including all handling and carriage charge complete as directed. Filling and laying of Geo bags of size 1.03m × 0.70m including excavation of sand/silt of size more than 80 micron from flood plain or adjacent chars within a distance of 90m of the work site, filling geo bags with sand/silt having minimum weighing 126.00 Kg and minimum volume 0.084 Cum after filling,double locking chain stitching the mouth of the filled bags with polypropylene thread by power driven double needle double stitched machine, stacking the same in batches of 100,carrying the same to the dumping site including all handling charges and local carriage within a distance of 150m and laying properly as directed.
