AIR FIELD LIGHTING SYSTEM(AFLS) The complete scope of work related to AFLS shall be got executed in consultation with User as per direction of GE.The contractor shall ensure that the operational requirement of User as directed by GE are not affected during execution and the hardware and software is integrated with the existing system. The contractor shall ensure the following during execution of AFLS works:- (i) DGPS survey before removal and reinstallation of AFLS shall be carried out through one of the specialized agencies mentioned here-in-after. (ii)Post re-installation of AFLS, CAMS warranty benefits would be applicable and contractor shall submit an undertaking in this regard. (iii) The contractor in consultation with specialized agency shall submit a layout plan of the conduits with consideration of future expansion and approval obtained from GE/Users before laying conduits for AFLS during the resurfacing of runway.
