Amount

a. Decoupling of 05 cusec Horizontal split casing pump from the motor assembly and dismantling the pump from the base frame. Carriage of the dismantled pump to the workshop in the Mechanical Transport for repairs. b. Repairs to the worn out bearing seats by way of rebuilding, turning, finishing, balancing on lathe to accommodate new bearings. The job also includes extraction of old damaged bearings by using bearing pullers. c. Providing, fitting of two no. bearings of SKF/reputed make as per sample. The job shall also include adequate greasing to the bearings. d. Manufacturing, providing, fitting of MS gland (02) with studs (04 no.) as per sample. e. Manufacturing, providing and fitting of MS check nut (02 no.) as per requirement. The job also includes threading of the shaft on lathe machine to accommodate newly manufactured check nuts. f. Manufacturing, providing and fitting of SS cotter key (01 no.) as per sample. g. Providing and fitting of palmetto packing, gasket as per requirement. h. The job involves repairs to cooling system of pump by way of providing and fitting of nipples in pump casing and PVC hosepipes as per requirement. i. The job involves providing and fitting of new studs & nuts to pump casing, coupling bolts as per size and specification. j. Re-assembling at workshop and then back carriage to the scheme after carrying out necessary repairs. k. Minor modifications to the base frame by way of cutting, welding using 06 mm thick MS plates as per site requirement using oxyacetylene gas cutter and welding machine at site. l. Providing and fitting TC-14 coupling set complete for pumping unit along with flexible rubber tyre. The job includes taking dimensions of prime mover shaft and pump shaft at site and then boring the CI coupling halves as per site requirement. The job involves complete linear and angular alignment of prime mover and pump shafts for smooth operation including providing and fitting of coupling bolts. The job includes testing on part/full load at site after conducting necessary repairs.
