Complete reconditioning/ overhauling of the motor and Electrical Magnetic Brake including cleaning dust, replacing Liner, Bearings etc with new ones of same size, varnishing the coil 3 times including necessary heating, aligning, levelling and refitting in position as per the directions of the departmental officers.

Complete reconditioning/ overhauling of the High Speed Gear Box including replacing of Oilseal / Gasket (3 nos) and changing of oil (excluding cost of oil ) etc complete as per the direction of the departmental officers.

Reconditioning of the Clutch coupling assembly on the Motor drive side and Manual drive side including dismantling, necessary machining works etc complete and putting back to service as per the directions of the departmental officers

Complete reconditioning/ overhauling of the Manual brake including Plummer block bearings, changing Liner, Brake shoes, Chain and Sprocket(9cm diameter) including cleaning the greasing points, changing the Nipple points wherever necessary etc complete as per the directions of the departmental officers.

Complete reconditioning/ overhauling of the dial gauge unit including cleaning, servicing etc complete as per the directions of the departmental officers.

Supply, installation and fixing of new Fibre core steel wire rope of 16 mm dia 6 x 19 CF having approximate mass of 88.6 kg/100 m, Tensile designate 1770N/mm2 having minimum breaking force 139 KN, confirming to ISI 2266-2002 including all labour for replacing the existing old wire rope, cleaning throughly old grease of the wire rope drum using compressed air, cleaning the dust and old cardium compound etc, applying new cardium compund to the new wire rope including cost of all materials, fixing wire rope ends as per design, labour charges, etc complete including winding old rope on spool and stacking at place pointed out as per the directions of the departmental officers (Cardium compound to be supplied departmentally)

Replacing Rubber seals including cutting and removing all existing rubber seals from the gate, supplying and fixing new Teflon cladded rubber seal of good quality after getting the approval of departmental officers having the same dimensions as that of the existing one including making holes in the seals at par with steel stem, supplying and replacing all nut and bolts with SS bolts & nuts (12mm diameter and 100mm length)and greasing the moving parts, replacing of worn out parts including cost of rubber seal, epoxy coal tar painting of replaced parts, etc complete as directed by the departmental officers at site.

Complete reconditioning/ overhauling of the Side Guide Rollers of the gate including dismantling, removing screws, clearing rust, greasing, changing and replacing all nuts and bolts with SS nuts and bolts (12mm diameter and 30mm length) aligning and refitting in position of the gates as per the direction of the departmental officers.

Cleaning the face of the gate slots concrete surface and gate track using compressed air and water and removing dirt, dust, grease, oil, algae, fungus, vegetable growth etc, with the help of required scrubbers and also cleaning with machine operated water jet mixed with desired quantity of fine silica where ever required, without causing any scratching/ damage to the surface and finally washing the surface with clean water with the help of pressure jet machine, complete in all respect, including taking all precautions to safeguard the structure, observing all security measures for the labours engaged in the work and inspecting the track alignment, rectifying any defects noticed and grinding the required surface for the free movement of gate, rollers including all labour, materials, consumables, tools etc as per the direction of the departmental Officers

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, upto seven story hight made with 40 mm dia. M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staricase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required location with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer- in Charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Note:- This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done .

Painting the IC tunnel intake gate (of size 12' 3" x 9' 6"/ 3.73m x 2.9m) after the surface preparation through copper blasting process as per IS 1477 Part I-1971(the average surface roughness after copper blast should not exceed 40 microns) the copper blast surface should be cleaned from loose dust and debris through air blast with the help of blower, to the class B specification ie at least 95% of surface of steel should be cleared to base metal except some tightly bonded residue in the form of mill scale/rust only. Then apply two coats of zinc rich primer (containing not less than 85% of zinc on dry film) to give a total dry film thickness of 70+5 microns within a time gap of 6 hrs. after surface preparation. Then apply two coats of solvent less coal tar epoxy paint at an interval of 24 hrs (150 microns each) including the cost of epoxy paint, primer, copper slag,compressed air, labour etc. complete as per the guide lines of IS 14177-1994 (reaffirmed 2019) and as per the directions of departmental officers.

Testing the operation of gate after completion of all repair works with hoist duly connected and lowering the gate first up to a depth of 30 to 40 cm and then raised and checked for defects and rectified and then further lowered to the 25% of the total depth, checking and correcting of level and alignment of the gate, noting the time required in opening and closing of gates, (0.61 m/s for lifting and lowering by electric power, 2.44 m/ minute for lowering by gravity and 25 mm/ minute for lifting by hand), checking the function of the limit switch, refilling gear oil, Checking the oil pressure as to within the designed limit during operation, checking the full load current required for the movement of the gate on load, check the brake system both manually and electrically, checking the manual operation etc. complete as directed by the and in the presence of the Departmental officers. The above procedures shall be repeated for lowering the gate up to a level of 50%, 75% and 100% (fully closed position) of the total depth

Painting the old iron works with synthetic enamel paint two coats over priming coat after scraping and cleaning the surface including cost of all materials labour charges etc complete as per specification and as directed by departmental officers at site

Supplying and fixing of following sizes of medium class PVC conduit along with accessories in surface/ recess including cutting the wall and making good the same in case of recessed conduit as required.25 mm

Supply and clamping the following sizes of strips on surface of wall / parapet/ existing cable tray using clamps fabricated from 20 x3 mm GI flat duly painted or heavy duty GI spacer saddles, spacing of clamps not exceeding 1 m , making good the damages, colour washing etc. as required ( for vertical run).20 x 3 mm GI strip

Earthing with G.I. earth pipe 4.5 metre long, 40 mm dia including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required
