General Civil repair including plumbing/carpentry/mason and various other miscellaneous civil works for Nuclear Fuel Complex - Kota Plant, Rawatbhata.

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

From GL Upto 1.5 Mtrs below Earth work excavation in foundation pits, trenches etc in Soft rock/Filled up rock/ Crushed stone/Boulders/hard rock by chiselling or by using machine such as Poclain with Jack hammer etc. upto depths mentioned below including shoring if necessary, dressing the sides, trimming, ramming and preparing the bed for foundation and refilling around the foundation and in plinth with selected excavated earth, in layers not exceeding 150mm. thick, watering, consolidation to the satisfaction of Engr-in charge and disposing of the surplus earth within a lead of 150m etc. all complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Upto 1.5 m from ground level

Soft rock/Filled up rock/ Crushed stone/Boulders etc.

Hard rock ( by chiselling or wedging or rock hammer and cutter or hydraulic splitter or controlled blasting/by using machine/ such as poclain with jack hammer or controlled blasting or by approved chemical method as directed by EIC)

Filling available excavated earth in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, levelling, lead up to 50 m.

Lead charges, including loading, unloading, stacking, the disposable Earth, rock etc.. by Mechanical transport for lead up to 2 KM. Note: Measurement of lead charges will be based on truck measurements with deduction of voids @20% and 50% for soils and rocks or debris respectively.

Plain Cement Concrete (P.C.C) 1:3:6 by insitu mixing using Weigh Batching or RMC of grade M-10 using Ordinary Portland Cement(OPC) conforming to IS 269 or Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC) conforming to IS 1489 Part-1 with Minimum Cementitious Content not less than 250 Kg/Cum (M/s. ACC,Ultra Tech, Raasi, Birla, Coromandal, Andhra Cements Ltd. make) with crushed stone sand and graded stone aggregates of 20mm maximum size at all depths/heights below/above plinth level including consolidation, finishing smooth/broom finish as applicable, curing, etc., including Formwork, complete as specified and directed. Note: 1.The blended cement i.e., PPC shall not have more than 35% of pozzolanas.
