DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

S & F in replacement LED Street light luminaires of 45 watts System wattage for energy saving having IP-66 degree of protection, compact & robust design With minimum system efficiency as > 85 % ,made of Pressure die cast aluminum housing powder coated in graphite grey and heat resistant thoughned glass with excellent thermal management including PVC cable connector, LED's should have lens optics and vandal proof prismatic poly carbonate covers for ensuring efficient optics and uniform distribution of light. Fitting should have operating voltage range of 120 - 270 VAC , THD <10% , P.F >.95, the fitting should have in built surge protector of 5 KV, complete all as specified.

Excavation in trenches n. exc. 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of underground cable and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated soil in trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Sand cushioningng (dry sand) to under ground cable for cable protection provided with layers 8cm thick before laying and 15cm thick after laying the cable and punned down to 18 cm thickness complete all as specified and directed. Note : For payment purpose punned thickness of 18cm shall be measured against spread thickness of 18cm as mentioned in para19.75 of SSR Part-I

Supply and laying sub class B bricks old size for protection of cables laid lengthwise perpendicular to the axis of cable, adjecent to each other complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement GI pipe light grade 40mm bore for cable protection, fixed to pole/ alongwall/ floor/ under road/ across the drain or nallaha etc complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for cutting of floor / wall / road / footpath for removal of under ground cable of any size / description and making good as existing surface not exc 40cm in width and depth complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable, heavy duty, conforming to IS - 7098 Part I - 2009 with aluminum conductor 1100 Volts grade of cross sectional area 10 Sqmm, 4 core in ducts or on walls laid in trenches including taking out old unservicable cable complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs loop-in loop-out box of size 20x20x15cm made of 1.6mm thick PVC sheet weather proof, dust and vermin proof with hinged door of locking arrangements and slanting cover on top with provision of aluminium busbar of size 25 x 2mm - 4 No fixed on insulator complete fixed on pole with and including suitable size MS flat iron clamps, nuts, bolts and washers, etc complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement of cable twin core PVC insulated and unsheathed solid copper conducter of size 1.5 Sqmm complete all as specified and directed.
