REPAIR, REPLACEMENT OF OLD UNSERVICEABLE CONVENTIONAL EARTHING AND LIGHTING STRIP AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN NAVAL DOCKYARD, VISAKHAPATNAM UNDER GE (I) DM VISAKHAPATNAM.

Dismantling old / loose fitted / damaged / unserviceable lightning conductor made of aluminium strip including insulator from roof of bldg all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 1.00 above, but on wall/column of bldg with building height upto 4 stories.

Dismantling taking out old / loose fitted / damaged / unserviceable sheet metal box any size including gun metal or phosphorous bronze test point terminal block all as specified and directed.

Dismantling taking out all old / loose fitted / damaged / unserviceable air termination single pointed al rod of any size and shape from roof for refixing or taking on schedule of credit complete all as specified and directed.

M/L for relaying/refixing of aluminium strip of size 25 x 3 mm as a roof conductor on roof obtain from item No 1 after proper alignment including saddle type epoxy insulator 40mm height by proper drilling, PVC roll plug, CP screws complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 7.00 above but on wall/column of bldg with building height upto 4 stories, obtain from item No 2.00.

M/L for new Al strip of size 25 x 3 mm as a roof conductor on roof after proper alignment including saddle type epoxy insulator 40mm height by proper drilling, PVC roll plug, CP screws complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 7.00 above, but on wall/column of bldg with building height upto 4 stories.

Taking and down & fixing only in repair loose/hanging GI sheet metal box of size 150 x 150 x 75 mm, including painting with one coat of red oxide and two coats of aluminium paint fix to wall/column with suitable size CP screws after drilling, test Point, putting PVC rowl plug complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix GI sheet metal box 2 mm thick of size 150 x 150 x 75 mm fix to wall/column with suitable size of PVC roll plug screws complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm, drilled and screwed including, 3 NOS, 8mm dia 25mm long hex, head screw inside GI sheet metal box with proper screws complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only serviceable air termination single pointed Al rod 12 mm dia 300 mm long with proper screws, nuts to al strips obtained vide item No. 4.00.

Supply and fixing new pointed Al rod 12 mm dia 300 mm long with proper screws, nuts to al strips all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate elecrode 60x60cmx6mm thick, buried directly in ground(earth pit not less than 2.25M deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5M below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 32x6mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel as shown in electrical plate No.2, connected to the earthing test point, concrete in PCC 1:3:6 type C2 with RCC precast pit cover slab 80mm thick with handle for lifting made out of 8mm thick with handle for lifting made out of 8mm

dia MS rod, funnel with watering pipe, wire mesh, charcoal and salt in alternate 150mm thick layers around earth plate including necessary returning filling in & removal all as specified or indicated in SSR Part-1, including testing to achieve earth resistance value as per IS specification on completion after dismantling taking out unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed.

M/L for new earthing pit by making concrete pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 with RCC precast pit cover slab 80mm thick with handle for lifting made out of 8mm dia MS rod all as specified in Plate no-2 of SSR Part-I after diasmantling of unsv one all as specified and directed.

S&F light grade GI tubing with proper MS clamp, screws fixed to wall for pipe support all as specified and directed.

M/L for writing letter on wall/column after proper preparation of wall surface, one coat of cement primer and two coat of black synthetic enamel paint and writing letter with white synthetic enamel paint for display of the following parameters of lightning protection/earthing: (a) LP number (b) Earth pit number (c) Date of test (d) Earth test value (e) Earth test due on

Maintenance of existing serviceable / good earth pits having good resistance value by cleaning/removing debrise from earth pit chamber, wild vegitations/grasses aroung earth pits, cleaning of funnel and painting with one coat of black bituminous paint to funnel / CI earth pit cover all as specified and directed.

Painting to external surface of existing/new earth pit with two coat of exterior cement base paint and numbering of earth pit with synthetic enamel paint with letter size not less than 40x40mm on painted surface of cement plaster complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismantling galvanised Galvanised wire mesh cable trays from building wall more than 3 mtr height form FL for repair/ replacement of damaged supporting clamps and refixing of trays to original position, securing properly to support strcture after replacement of steel clamps complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Hot dip Galvanised wire mesh cable trays 105 x 300 complete with tray, coupler, cover and cover clip to support clamps, securing properly to support strcture complete including dismanling from building wall more than 3 mtr hieght form FL all as specified and directed. Make-Legrand or equivalent

S/F of cable Rack / tray support made with structural steel section (FE-290, Gde E 165) pre-welded, on wall , placing in position and fixing to wall with fastener steel bolt not less than 16 mm dia, including painting with one coat of red oxide and two coat of black synthetic enamel paint all as specified and directed. Note:- Cable rack drawing shall be obtained from Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for dismantling taking down cables off sizes from cable trays/walls for repair/replacement of damaged cable tray and support clamps and relaying to original position after repair of trays and clamps complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing PVC XLPE insulated, armoured havey duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 Volts grade cross section area 35 Sqmm 3.5 core incl dismantling taking down unsv one from wall, cable trey, trench complete all as specified and directed
