REPAIR RESURFACING TO INTERNAL ROADS IN OTM ACCN UNDER AGE B AND R NAVY VALSURA OF GE I NAVY JAMNAGAR

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally clean the surface with air compressor to remove loose dirts etc including applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen @ 5 Kg per 10 Sq.m using paving bitumen VG-30 & finally providing bituminous premixed semi-dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content using paving bitumen of grade VG 30 penetration by weight of total mix laid using mechanical paver, rolled and compacted by using power vibrator roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified. Note : For design purpose minimum binder content shall be as described i.e. 5.5% for VG-30 grade bitumen and it shall not be less than the binder content as described under any circumstances. During design stage if binder content exceeds 5.5% in that case no extra payment shall be entertained to contractor for excess use of binder.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam using paving bitumen VG-30 any penetration content @ 4% by weight of total mix laid using mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8-12 tonne power vibrator roller and rolled to a uniform smooth surface (any consolidated thickness) complete all as specified and directed. Note: For design purpose minimum binder content shall be as described i.e. 4% for VG-30 grade bitumen and it shall not be less than the binder content as described under any circumstances. During design stage if binder content exceeds 4% in that case no extra payment shall be entertained to contractor for excess use of binder.

M & L for repair to pot holes of any depth, not exc. 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 30 mm in depth(depth of potholes exc 30mm), making good by applying tack coat using paving bitumen VG-30 @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm putting in premix bituminous macadam carpet well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8Kg per 10 Sqm, binded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size & again well rammed complete all as directed.
