REPAIR/ MAINTENANCE OF HT VCB AND TRANSFORMER AND CONNECTING ACCESSORIES IN THE AREA OF AGE E/M UNDER GE (A) AHMEDABAD

Material and labour for dismantling Vacuum circuit breakers of rating upto 630A,11KV, 3Ph, by removing incoming and outgoing cable connections, removing busbars, current transformers, moving and fixed contacts cleaning all the parts with CTC, servicing of spring charge motor, checking the healthiness of tripping and closing coils,improving the insulation resistance value and reassembling the same all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Work should be carried out in presence of competent service Engineer.

M&L for calibration of following relays, setting the relays for the fault levels as directed by Engineer-in-charge and testing the operation of Vacuum circuit breaker after installation of relays by simulating different types of faults all as directed by Engineer - in- charge. Note: a) Work should be carried out by competent service Engineer and report should be submitted on post completion of calibration.

M & L for complete over hauling of transformer (Out door type 160 KVA, 0.433/11KV, Make- Rajasthan Transformer, Sl No-88654 & 88660 comprising of the following scope of works :-

(a) Disconnecting carefully all electrical connection from HT/LT side of transformer after proper shut down.

(b) Opening top cover of the transformer by unscrewing nuts, bolts, washers etc incl disconnecting core assy from HT/LT bushing and lifting the same gently and taking out from the shell (container/ body) of the transformer.

(c) Draining out transformer oil from the transformer in the suitable capacity of container /drums and keeping it in safe coustody for reuse.

(d) Cleaning of the transformer body from inside, removing deposited dirt / sludge/ foreign particles etc from the buttom / body of the transformer and drying/ heating up the shell from inside before refilling of the transformer oil.

(e) Checking the leakage of transformer oil from tank joints, bushings, inlet /outlet valves ,breather etc, servicing by openning the transformer and disconnect the star and delta connection of HT and LT windings , testing the insulation resistance,cleaning and washing thoroughly core and windings of the transformer as directed by Engr-in- charge.

(f) Connecting of HT / LT/ Neutral connections to the bushings assy, fixing of tap change over incl tightening of nuts,bolts, washers of the core to reduce humming noise all as directed.

(g) Refilling the transformer oil in the shell of transformer after carrying out filteration and heating up oil upto 105 degree C to achive reqd dielectric strength and submitting the test result before and after filteration of oil in presence of Engr- in- charge on proper proforma duly signed. Toping up of transformer oil will be measured and paid seperately. Contractor shall provide filtration plant near transformer as directed by Engr-in-charge.

(h) Refixing the top cover incl replacement of corck sheet/ gasket 8mm thick, tightening of nuts /bolts /washers etc and replacement of breather with silica gel crystal type all as directed by Engr-in charge

(j) Re-fixing the transformer in original place including connecting HT/LT/Neutral/Earthing connections etc test the transformer in normal peak load all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Note:- (i) Any damage to insulators/bushes/windings etc while in the custody of the contractor shall be make good at no extra cost. The serviceability of the transformer shall be checked and confirmed by the contractor before taking into his custody. (ii) The job taken for repair / over hauling should be complete with in 8 hours after taking shutdown individual transformer , failing which neccessary arrangement to be made by the contractor at no extra cost.

Cleaning / scrapping / brushing down and preparing the outer surface of the transformer body and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint approved colour for transformer upto 315 KVA capacity of any make all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- charge .

Supply and fixing LT side porcelain insulator of transformer for both male and female complete all as specified and as directed by Engr - in - charge.

M&L for dismantling the HT under ground cable of size 95 sq mm fom its location and keeping in self costody shall become the proprerty of the contractor after credit recovered by the department.

Supplying, Laying, Jointing, Testing and comissioning of HT UG cable, XLPE ,screened ,insulated ,armoured and PVC bedded ,11000 volts grade ,(heavy duty) earthing system with aluminium conductor of size 3 core 95 sq mm conforming to IS 7098 (part II), laid in trenches, fixed to walls or passing through pipes and connecting up all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Material and labour for Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one coat of red oxide primer and two coat of aluminium paint including preparation of new steel surfaces all as directed.

Fixing only cross arms, MS channels etc, retrived item No 19 here-in-before with nuts, bolts, washers all as specified including two coats of aluminium paints over one coat of red oxide primer complete duly scraping the existing paints complete all as speciafied and directed by Engr-in charge.

Material and labour for dismanteling old U/S AB switch and Supply and install switch air break, vartically gang operated triple pole, mechanically operated, mounted on insulator and steel frame, with operating mechanism worked from ground level, for current rating 200 amps 11000 volts, including GI pipe and all other accessories all as specified and as directed.

S&F Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, brown insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 150mm height, 150mm dia for 11000 volts grade including dismantling of old insulators all as specified and as directed.

M&L danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M. S. clamps bolts and, nuts of approved size for HT 25 x 20cm size including dismantling of old board complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for servicing of existing AB switch 11 KV, 3 pole with fuse unit fixed on four/two pole structure at variour location in cantt area by applying conducting jelly on knife and mouth of insulator, thoroughly cleaning and checking of all macanically operated parts and apply grease where necessary for easily operatig the device from ground level including replacing of minor spares like nut, bolts and washers etc complete all as directed.

Excavation in soft / loose soil in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out complete.

Returning filling with earth obtained from excavation including spreading watering and consolidation in layers not exceeding 25 cms thick complete.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete.

M&L for sand filling in trenches with clean dry fine sand unwashed including gently punning around cables complete.

Supplying and laying factory made un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover class HV type 1 flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm complete laid in trenches over sand for cable protection complete.

M&L for painting of MS swaged poles 11 m long including brackets/clamps etc with best quality aluminium paint, making alternate black & yellow colour bands of 30 cms width upto a height of 1.5 m from pole coping with synthetic enamelled paint complete.
