NOTES for BOQ Item No 1.00 to 10.00: (i) Control switches such as MCCB, Main switch, contactors, multi display meter and engine control unit shall be out of scope of the item of work and the rate quoted shall exclusive of servicing/ maintenance of the above said fittings.

(ii) Servicing of DG Set along with connected Alternator and AMF Panel Board including 'A' Check of the Engine shall be carried out once in every 15 days (Except during the month when 'B' check is carried out) as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and the Contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenance period and he shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the DG set for a period of 30 days from the date of service and shall also attend all the maintenance works as and when required in that period except in case of Major repairs.( List DG as 20KVA-9Nos, 25KVA-2Nos, 30 KVA-01 Nos, 35KVA-1Nos, 40 KVA-3Nos, 50 KVA- 01 Nos 62.5KVA-1Nos, 82.5KVA-2Nos, 100KVA-2 Nos , 160 KVA-1 Nos) (ii) Servicing of AMF panel shall include cleaning of dust inside with blower, cleaning of moving part /contacts from CT cleaner, tightening of loose parts /electrical wires, cleaning of contactors, relays and junction points, servicing/ adjustment of relay, complete testing of AMF relay with necessary settings and load management system complete with replacement of worn out unserviceable components /burnt wires thimbles /lugs complete/ testing automatic start the DG set on mains fails in presence of MES rep. (iii) Spare parts required for replacement during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid separately.

(iv) Cost of all consumables required during the maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item unless otherwise provided in the BOQ. (v) List of checks to be carried out under 'A' check are as follows:-

(iv) Cost of all consumables unless otherwise provided in the BOQ required during the maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item,contractor shall provide fuel filter, oil filter, water filter,top head gaskets,fuel pipes, battery terminal, battery lead and distilled water. (v) List of checks to be carried out under 'B' check is attached as Appendix 'B' to the Particular specifications.

Repair / overhauling of following mentioned Self Starter assembly of DG Set by disconnecting and removing from the engine, cleaning of all accessories, replacing of worn out parts such as brushes, bushes, contact plates, jumping leads and seals, revarnishing the field coil, armature and re-assembling the same and re-fixing into the engine including testing all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed. Repair/overhauling/Descaling of following mentioned radiator assembly of DG set by disconnecting and removing from the engine, dismantling the top and bottom chambers, descaling the sediments, scales, corrosion etc. by means of acid, cleaning and high pressure water washing, air cleaning, re-assembling the same with new gaskets including arresting leakages, if any and fixing to the engine with new hoses, clips etc. all as required and as directed. Note: The rate quoted shall be inclusive of transporting of the radiator to the workshop and back and all incidental charges.

Note :- The clearing vegitation is required quarterly clearing during each quarter shall be measured one job for an installation.

Material and Labour for cleaning and removing of vegetation, surface dressing surrounding AMF panel the panel, welding of damaged panel doors, fixing of hinges, providing locking arrangements, applying one coat of primer, painting of panel with two coats synthetic enamel paint of existing colour complete including providing lock all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for making DG set platform suitable for DG set up to 40 KVA size 4 mtr x 3 Mtr and Height 0.5 Mtr from ground level GL including excavation in trenches not less than 1 mtr, PCC 1:5:10 type E2 for foundation, brick work in CM 1:6, PCC 1:2:4 type B1 in coping, plastering 10mm thick in CM 1:6 complete surface PCC 1:4:8 type B1 sub base 75mm thick, as in floor PCC 1:2:4 type B1 100mm thick floor , returning filling and removal on surplus soil, 3 coats of white washing on cement work for fixing transformer including ramp of suitable size mounting of transformer complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of broken transparent acrylic sheet of metering section of DG Canopy door and Supply and fixing of new acrylic sheet of 3mm thick transparent along with rubber seal and making water proof the door complete

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of factory made, outdoor type, AMF panel board suitable for 20 KVA DG set conforming to IS : 5039, cubical type base mounting with IP-54 protection, made out of 3.15mm thick CRCA sheet, 415 Volt, 3 Phase, 50 Hz supply mounted on and including MS angle section 40mm x 40mm x 5mm frame with front and back openable, double door with provision of locking arrangement dust and vermin proof, gasket, TPN bus bar shall be insulated with colour coated heat shrinkable sleeves and shall be mounted on proper insulator, gland, welding hinges of dust proof, overall powder coated complete including taking down old AMF panel, controller with battery charger 12 V, 15 A all as specified and directed and consisting of the following equipment connecting up incoming and outgoing cables complete with glands and lugs and chamber painted with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including mounting the chamber with suitable size of bolts/ nuts complete all as specified and directed.

Checking/testing of Earth resistance value of earthing pits Installed inside Darjipura, Makarpura, Harni camp and Harni airfield area as requirement basis as directed by Engr in Charge or as per schedule and making the damaged earthing serviceable by pouring salted water into earthing or making continuity by GI strips and bringing down the resistance value within specified limits. including maintenance of existing earthing by cleaning the earth chamber funnel and cleaning of vegetation surrouding earthing pit up to 2 mtr. Note: (i) The contractor will deploy a team for each DG set at Darjipura to test the resistance value of earthings in each zone to complete the process within one month. The entire process will be repeated after every six months (half yearly) upto completion of the contract.

(ii) one earthing testing in one season is measured one job. (iii) Digital Earth tester will be arranged by the contractor. (iv) Date of testing and due date of testing is to be written on a register with sign of user rep & Engr-in Charge . (iv) Testing and corrective action is to be done within one month from date of commencement . earthings is to be completed within one month. Thereafter on half yearly basis as directed .The contractor has to deploy electrician with helper and testing equipment and all the resources to complete the task within one month. (v) If any material required for improvement of resistence value which is more than their permissible limit will be measured and paid seperately.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick electrode, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level, connected to GI strip 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check-nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 (duly protected with 15 mm dia light grade GI pipe upto 7.5 m from the earth plate) and connected to GI steel earth plate including charcoal, dust, common salt necessary excavation in soft/loose soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m from the starting point, watering pipe 20 mm dia GI light grade treated with 1 No PGI funnel, pit of PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 pit cover 75 mm thick reinforced with 6 mm dia bars @ 75 mm c/c both ways and with MS handle 12 mm dia complete connected to earth test point including testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing epoxy earth strip insulator reel type , 40mm dia x 20mm high x 12mm hole suitable for 32mmx6mm including brass base screw complete

S&F with replacement of GI strip 32 x 6 mm buried in ground after testing point complete.

Note for all items :- If any item gets repeated in this schedule, the lowest rate quoted for those same items by the L-1 bidder shall be considered for payment and decision of Accepting Officer i.e. GE(AF) Baroda in this regard shall be final and binding.
