Appendix A-Reconstruction of Leading Channel 15.2.2 : Demolishing nominal cement concrete 1:4:8 or leaner mix ( including equivalent design mix), for bed and side wall of existing canal, manually / by mechanical means, including disposal of materials with all leads , etc. complete as per the directions of departmental officers at site.

2.6.1 : Earth work excavation in all kinds of soil by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means( over areas exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 m2 on plan), for canal , including back filling wherever necessary and disposal of excess excavated earth with all leads and lifts, disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed, etc. complete as per the directions of departmental officers at site.

4.1.8 : Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size), including cost of all materials and labour charges, for canal foundation , etc. complete as per the directions of the departmental officers at site.

4.3.1 : Providing centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work after completion of work, for canal side wall, etc. complete as per the directions of departmental officers at site.

4.1.5 : Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size), including cost of all materials and labour charges, excluding the cost of centering and shuttering for canal side wall, etc. complete as per the directions of departmental officers at site.

4.1.3 : Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size), including cost of all materials and labour charges, excluding the cost of centering and shuttering for canal wearing coat, haunch, etc. complete as per the directions of departmental officers at site.

5.9.1 : Providing centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work after completion of work, for cover slab, etc. complete as per the directions of the departmental officers at site.

5.1.3 : Providing and laying in position reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 ( 1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size), excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement for canal side wall, etc. complete as per the directions of departmental officers at site.

5.1.2 : Providing and laying in position reinforced cement concrete 1:1:5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand :3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size ) for cover slab, including cost of all materials and labour charges, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, and reinforcement, etc. complete as per the directions of departmental officers at site.

5.22.6 : Providing Steel reinforcement using Thermo - mechanically treated bars of grade Fe 500 D or more , for cover slab and side wall of canal , including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all , etc. complete as per the directions of departmental officers at site.

50.13.1 : Providing 9 mm thick cement plastering of mix 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand ) including cost of all materials and labour charges, for canal side wall and top, etc. complete as per the directions of departmental officers at site.

60.8 : Supplying and providing Thambagam wood shutter planks 5 cm thick, for existing sluices, including cost of materials and labour charges , etc. complete as per the directions of departmental officers at site.

10.25.2 : Providing Steel work welded in built up sections/framed work, for grating ,including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required, etc. complete as per the directions of departmental officers at site.
