Housekeeping of Public buildings in HWP M Colony for the year 2022-2023.

Supplying required men, material, tools & appliances and providing consumables like cleaning agents, disinfectants of approved brand for for cleaning of toilets (Once/Twice or Thrice in a day) as per schedule and as directed by the Engineer) comprising of the following activities a) Washing of floor & dado - Daily as per schedule b) Cleaning of wash basins, urinal pans & Water Closets - Daily as per schedule c) Removal of cobwebs - Once in 15 days d) Providing and placing Naphthalene balls in Urinal pans and Wash basins - Once in 15 days e) Disposal of the cleaned waste to the nearby dust bins including any other incidental activity for satisfactory completion of the work etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer. ''Note : 1) Toilet cleaning in Tharangini Function Hall shall be cleaned twice in day during functions only 2) Unit rate shall include all the above activities and no claim whatsoever will be entertained in this regard. 3) Cleaning frequency shall be maintained. Unsatisfactory work will not be measured for payment. 4) Where Job is done but not as per the above frequency the same will be paid on prorata basis provided the same is accepted by the Department. No claim whatsoever will be entertained in this matter.

Supplying required men, material, tools & appliances and providing and appying consumables for sweeping and cleaning of public buildings (including staircases, landings, entrances and path ways) comprising of the following activities : a) Sweeping with soft broom, Collection of dirt, waste papers, cotton waste and Clearing the dust bins in public buildings and disposing of the same to the dumping yard - Daily. b) Removal of cobwebs and cleaning of plinth protection - once in a month, c) Mopping of corridors Twice in a week (Using disinfectant agent of approved brand) d) Transorting the garbage, waste, dirt and dust to the disposal yard or incinerator by suitable means of transport like Hand cart/Trolley, mechanical means or any suitbale method with the approval of the Enginner In Charge. And any other incidental activity for satisfactory completion of the work etc., all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. Note : 1) Public Buildings like Hostel, Shabari Guest House , Community Center, Electrical Sub-Stations, Estate Maintenance cell, Shopping complex, Pump operator Rooms are covred in the scope. 2) Unit rate shall include all the above activities and no claim whatsoever will be entertained in this regard.

Supplying required men, material, tools & appliances and providing consumables for sweeping/ cleaning of terrace including chajjas of public/Residential buildings, collection of dirt, waste papers, dry leaves, cotton waste, removal of unwanted plants, samplings & vegetation etc., algae if any and including disposing of the same into dumping yard and de-chocking of rain water pipes/ chajjas etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Providing required men, materials, tools & tackles etc, for providing services to maintain the water body in the township by deploying one person (swimmer) on daily basis (excluding sundays) to carry out all necessary activities to maintaining the water body in good condition including but not limited to the follwing activities: a) Removal of vegetation, algae, floating material, unwanted creepers, water weeds, lotus etc. from the water body by adopting suitable means to move over water body for collection of weeds etc, and water body should be maintained in a neat and clean condition so that clear water is seen in the water body on continuosly. b) Clearing of creepers propagated on and along the fencing continusly. c) Removal of vegetation, wild bushes on the path way, cleaning and sweeping of path way alround the water body on daily basis d) Clearing of grass and uprooting of wild vegetation, keeping the surrounding area of Water body (including children play ground & badtminton court on South side of water body once in a forthnigh. Cut grass and waste shall be disposed to a designated place within a weeks time after cutting and burning the same under controlled fire conditions. e) Loading, unloading of waste / manure in Compost machine on daily basis etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer In Charge.

Notes : (1) Contractor should obtain workmen insurance before commencement of the work and nothing extra is paid on this account. Contractor is fully responsible for the safety of their workers and should indemnify the department from all obligations on this acccount. (2) Minimum one worker shall be deployed on dailt basis. Compensation will be levied for absence of worker if absent for more than three days at a stretch and more than 10 days in a month @ prevailing minimum wages per day of absence beyond the said period apart from no payment for no work. (3) Contractor should arrange for opening and closing of overflow valve as and when required and as directed by the EIC.

Supplying and spreading of bleaching powder as and when required, including all labor, materials, transport etc., all complete as per specifications and directed by the Engineer in Charge. Note: In each operation 50 kgs (25 kgs of two bags ) of bleaching powder should be used by the contractor.
